Beyond Forever

This is quite nice. I really love it when my partner wears this. It’s grown up. To me this is simple, dry, comforting, fresh. I want to lay my head on the chest of the man wearing this. Update: It’s been my favorite lately. I’ve taken to spraying this on my sweatshirt before a moonlight walk. It’s got a pensive feel to it. A little therapeutic and outsidey. Violet, vetiver, leather... very dry, mellow. Classy and has character though it has soft projection. It’s a clean, woodsy vibe that’s less for clubbing, but for more of a cool classic nature loving person. Feels almost intellectual? That’s my take. It’s good! I think women who like unisex, non sweet woody violet fragrances might like this too.

Had a spray of this at a shop yesterday and 5 minutes later I was walking out wandering who it was smelling so good and with a fresh clean masculine scent that took me all the way back to the 80s and 90s! Well today I had to go back and purchase it. Can't stop forcing a smell of it all day long. Trying to think what smell it reminds me of. I actually believe it could be the nutmeg element and that of Avon Black Suede! I usually go for more citrus types but I believe the masculine flashbacks from this was too much to resist!

A stellar cheapie. Strikes me as a a light office-casual juice in the Azzaro Visit/Kenzo Jungle late-90s sheer woody style with a bit of Fahrenheit-esque violet. Performance isn’t nearly as bad as other reviews state, on my skin. I seem to love Nathalie Lorson’s work, so I thought this was an easy gamble, and it really is wild how good it is for under $20.

I think Nathalie Lorson blended this for another house. This smells way better than all other Beckham frags. This could easily be a designer frag. I would have paid 50 bucks. But only paid around 15. I got this as a gift from my step-niece (so to speak) and didn't expect to like it. Maybe it's the generosity of someone spending what little money they have on s personal gift made with thought or maybe that its genuinely good. Spiced vetiver & leather. Kind of peppery. Lovely, really.

Dry down smells very similar to Tom Ford - Grey Vetiver For an inexpensive fragrance, this one is unreal. Perfect for everyday man (not boy)

Make sure your skin is a relative 'blank canvas' before spraying this one otherwise you may experience what I did when I first tried this yesterday. Having just bought this and Guess by Marciano for Men, I tried GbM first....had a few sniffs....then tried Beyond Forever on my other arm. OMG - barber shop soap cloud overload.....dare I say, unbearable. Skip forward to today, I tried it again with no other scents invading my olfactory receptors......better. Much better. Yes it is still quite soapy but this is more of a warm, fresh cotton/linen 'pillow' as a base and then there is a leathery note at the top with some dry peppery notes in the middle. Smells kinda like a DIY layered scent that works. It's not a ground breaker but then it isn't trying to be one so....one new bottle added to the spring rotation. That's 3 Beckham's that have made it in to the cabinet now. David and Coty must be doing something right. :o)

I've been on a Nathalie Lorson kick all summer. Summer weather sucks in Northern Europe this year so the range of possibilities is expanded. One day it's sunny and hot, the next days cold and rainy and dark. This is cheap and chic. I even like the bottle. I agree with the previous reviewers. Beyond Forever is a bodyspray-light, gender-fluid great nephew of Fahrenheit. Lorson executed the same slap dash expertise on Beckham Classic Touch. They smell SO effortlessly correct that great skill must have created them. Because these are great cheapies. Note the price difference of Beckham fragrances between discounters and High Street department stores is dismal. So, shop wisely.

I usually like fragrances from Beckham tho they are not that sofisticated they tend to smell ok. This one however doesnt smell much at all, instead of calling it beyond forever they could have named it gone forever, the longevity and projection on me is almost zero. I have to put my nose really close to my skin to smell anything at all, and all i get is some light spiciness, this was a bad blindbuy for me, test it before you buy this one.

It's very nice. Vetiver, violet, citrusses and nutmeg. Unique and fresh. It should last longer than this though as an EDT. It becomes a skin-scent about 30 minutes after spraying, however, the dry-down is really nice - good for a Summer day. It was pretty cheap so can't really complain about its potency.

Get all set for Spring! Beyond Forever is well made (as to be expected from the perfumer Nathalie Lorson) and has a sharp tangy spicy fresh feeling that would be great for the spring months. Probably the best from the Beckham line in quite a while (in my opinion of course) Great!

Simple. Cheap. Infinitely wearable. There is nothing new or unique in this, but it smells very nice, its not too "safe" and can be worn pretty much any occasion. Vetiver with violet.

I just like this fragrance - spicy, fresh and classy. I use this for any occasion - very versatile. The dry-down is very nice. Another super scent from Nathalie Lorson. Thumbs up.

I enjoy this, lasts very long on me, can actually annoy me how long I end up smelling it. Overall, it's a decent strong masculine fragrance

Smells great for the three minutes it lasts. Tried a tester today (it was also warm today) and figured I'd get a good sense of its performance in the heat. It performed so badly it was almost impressive. Very disappointing considering the rich, fresh masculine vibe it gave off initially. Oh well... *sighs*

Doesn’t really perform. Nice smell, but not by the standards of the rest of my collection. But hey, it’s super cheap so I’m not complaining, just speaking my mind.

I just picked this up, and wore it the last 2 days, casually out and about without analyzing closely. Nathalie Lorson, price, and Fahrenheit nods made it hard to ignore. Impressions are from a fresh bottle, so we'll also see how/if this changes with some time/air in the bottle. TL;DR: it's pretty good! Beyond Forever opens predominantly with spicy nutmeg and "freshness", but with overall timid top notes. Could be fresh bottle syndrome, but it almost feels a bit empty until the nutmeg kicks in. In the heart the violet shows up much more noticeably, and starts mixing with woodiness and then some smooth leather. There is a clean and uncomplicated undercurrent running through, and it seems like maybe some unlisted musks are at play. Predominant listed notes are Nutmeg, Violet, Leather with each showing up more/less in different stages. I haven't individually pulled out any elemi, immortelle, fern (green notes), patchouli or vetiver yet, but I tend to experience the whole rather than parts, unless a note is obviously at the forefront. A bloodhound I am not. Beyond Forever reminds me of 3 different fragrances at different stages. Azzaro Visit, Dsquared He Wood/Original Wood, and finally Dior Fahrenheit. The nutmeg with a clean, yet subtle laundry-esque musk feels a bit like Visit, although not anywhere as musky as visit. The violet and musk with a vague woodiness feels like He Wood. Lastly, as other have accurately pointed out, the violet and leather definitely pings a Fahrenheit Lite vibe. Comparisons to a body spray are not completely unfair, as you can give yourself a pretty decent dousing of 5-8 sprays and not be blowing out noses, or filling up rooms. It sits closer to skin, but I occasionally caught very pleasant yet light whiffs for a good 2-3 hours, and longer as a skin scent. Claims of zero performance seem overstated. This fit the bill perfectly for working in the morning, as it felt clean, put together, yet not demanding of my full attention. For the same reason, it worked great for a day out hiking then also running errands in/out of stores. The notes mixed nicely in nature when present, yet were quiet enough to let the aromas of nature do the talking. Later I reapplied for my nieces school performance of The Nutcracker, and it also fit the bill as a clean, unobtrusive fragrance that felt suited for the situation. A heavy incense or niche oddball wouldn't do here. I really think this is classy versatile stuff, and far surpasses the $12 price tag. I can't see fans of Dior Fahrenheit or violet disliking this. It's fresh, clean, dry, with just enough interest to keep it from being boring. The only gripes I could see are this might not satisfy niche tastes, as this is not a masterpiece or avant garde creation. The other is performance will not satisfy those who demand loud scents or nuclear performance or longevity. Personally, I think the polite performance is a feature not a bug. Especially considering the price, overspraying or re-applying does not have to be treated preciously like a high ticket item. Sometimes it's nice having an option that just "fades into your life" and doesn't interfere with your atmosphere, or shout for attention.
