I used to give celeb frags a wide berth but not too long ago decided to take the plunge. Although this is a little on the synthetic side DBH along with other very similar frags such as Usher VIP are right where my scent tastes sit right now. Bravo, Mr Beckham. Update (6 Jan 2017): I've just blind-bought Montana Graphite without hesitation (yes it smells of pencil shavings but the most amazing pencil shavings you've ever smelled). :o) I also came across Usher VIP and DVB Homme both of which I've had before and recalled that they were similar.......actually on smelling them again they are so similar that if you didn't have them side by side you'd be forgiven for thinking they were the same scent. If I were to try and separate them, DVB Homme is more warm and soapy but with a stout Szechuan pepper and woods flare and Usher VIP is less soapy/peppery and more green/herbal/aromatic. So DVB Homme for daytime and Usher VIP for evenings and weekends. ;o) Really like both and both perform the same for me. Go crazy with the sprayer (couple round the neck, couple on each forearm, couple on each bicep and a couple on your shirt) and both of these should project just beyond arms length for up to 5 hours. After that you've still got a great skin scent that anyone very near you will be able to detect. Oh and you will get compliments with both.....lots of compliments. So yeah please don't go out and buy either of these cause then there'll be none left for me. ;o)

I really love this scent and I can see why people compare it to Terre D'Hermes. I actually prefer this one more due to Terre D'Hermes' orange that CAN smell cloying. It does reminds people of orange toilet detergents. If this fragrance didn't have Beckham's name on it and was produced by Hermes, I bet more people will love it instead of voting "like". It is fresh, peppery and does give me the same vibe as Hermes. It is a clean, no-nonsense professional scent that I have been looking for. It doesn't smell cheap. If someone walked by me smelling like this, "cheap" won't be on my mind. I am wearing it more often due to the fact that I know not many people would be wearing it..at least in Asia due to Beckham's name. Many would have it but would not make it their "routine" scent. It is great for office, gym, formal occasions so I would say it is versatile. As a guy, I first thought of NOT wearing it because it reminded me of sexy guys. I naturally see sexy guys as competitors. But....why not BE the sexy guy?! It is light and inoffensive. I put this on and it refreshes me as much as Versace Pour Homme. It is true it is not a fragrance that one would say, "WOW, that is unique!" but I find that is what is so great about it. I can use this to smell elegant in occasions that I don't want to attract attention. Great for business meetings or just picking up groceries. An underrated fragrance.

I never checked any David Beckham perfume just because I dont like David as a person or football player. Today, I decided to check them and honestly, i was impressed by this one. Very masculine well blended perfume with very good sillage and longevity. Immediately from the first spray you get light citrus, ginger, pepper and cashmere wood...The perfume gets better and better as time goes by and the masculinity increases. The citrus and ginger are not those that you smell almost in all summer colognes. They are going together, hand to hand up to the end. Finally and after a lot of hours, you are left with a nice musk with rosemary, a very pleasant time but the strong point of this perfume is the opening and especially the heart notes. Imagine that you have a saw and you cut some fresh wood on a table with some ginger by the side and the air brings in very lighlty the smell of rosemary...this is what this perfume is...and the ginger usually is going together with citrus but this perfume made me believed that the ginger blended with wood as a dominant ingredient, is a very nice masculine recipe. I suppose we are all tired with the ginger/lemon perfumes that are so commercial in our days...Many of them are so similar so let's stop it...there are much better and new combinations to make instead of having all the time the same perfumes....The price is a true bargain for this perfume!

Don't worry everyone. I'm going to hype the HECK out of this on YouTube and tiktok.. Here's the thing, this is probably the best fragrance in its price range. $13 Nike man blue, and Nike urban wood come close in that criteria, but this one just trumps everything in terms of smell and quality It's predominantly a sichuan pepper and woods fragrance with a zesty spicy sweetness. The composition is aided with a softening warmth of cashemran and a herbal touch of rosemary The way all the notes work together and compliment each other is amazing. The rosemary compliments the sichuan pepper in aiding for that sweet warmth with an herbal facet, ginger and citrus ties in with that giving a brightness and zingy aroma while cashmeran rounding everything out adding a soft texture to the whole composition. I don't get much leather or patchouli, pretty much Non existent. Maybe the textures and aromas of leather and patchouli but not the smell. I don't smell musk but I can pickup on a musk texture however. That could just be cashmeran It's quite linear, but when you break down the simple Scent that it is there's a lot going on that makes it smell the way it does Subtle, and striking. Amazing stuff. Performance sucks but the smell is just so damn high quality I forget about its weakness Will be reviewing this on my youtube RIVERAEDGE

This is IT! The exact type of men's fragrance that I've been looking for. Seems somewhat familiar and not unusual, but has escaped me until now. As a woman who has issues with many popular "masculine" notes (vetiver, sandalwood, tobacco, amber....) it's hard to find male scents I can tolerate, let alone enjoy. My boyfriend is also a little picky, but not nearly as bad as me. He likes to have a few different scents, but rarely seeks them out, so I pick one up for him occasionally. Thankfully he doesn't love anything that gives me a headache (except Eros Flame, but it is a really good scent and it's growing on me...) Anyhow, this; it has a classic feel but not dated. Timeless, I would say. It's the right amount of spicy and warm, but also has a refreshing, cooling effect, maybe from the rosemary? I don't know. I can't really analyze it or speak on the performance, I just know it smells pretty much perfect to me. Can't stop smelling it. Nothing out of the ordinary, but seems like a solid, extremely pleasant, versatile scent. Still have to present it to my boyfriend and strongly hope he likes it!
