Instinct 20th Anniversary Edition

Smells similar to the original, definitely still get the bergamot, basil and vetiver combo, but now it seems a bit modernised? Perhaps some cold grapefruit in the opening (could be the affect of the aldehydes), leading into a new green apple note, and a dash of watered down Sauvage thrown into the drydown instead of the strong but classy vetiver note the OG has (could be the highlighted patchouli in the ad copy above). But still, the original DNA is always there thankfully

I don’t usually write fragrance reviews, but this one strongly reminded me of a perfume I never actually owned ,i only tried it once in a perfumery. The sales assistant was very kind and sprayed me generously, so i smelled almoste the entire day. It stayed with me as a very pleasant memory. The fragrance was " Masculine "Re-Edition 1999 by Dolce&Gabbana. That’s why I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised by this 20th Anniversary version , especially for such a ridiculously low price (German DM on sale 12€).

Complete blind buy for me. For the price, this isn't bad at all. It's definitely a fragrance for warmer weather with the apple and bergamot. I wouldn't wear this in the winter. I get a faint Nautica Voyage vibe, but it's different. Performance and sillage are better than I thought they would be at this price range, but still not great. I just respray! But overall, not bad! Scent - 7/10 Performance - 4/10

The smell itself is actually pretty surprisingly good. I mostly get a lime with bergamot smell. It is weak as F. Only 15-30 min. Then it's a skin scent. Wore it in the winter and thought that was the problem. So i went to the gym with it to generate some heat with it. Nothing at all. Dissapointed. At least i got it for like 15 euro so that's allright.

Smells like a high-end shampoo, fresh scent with the musk making it smell thick (I don't know how to explain) First 5 or so minutes after applying feels like taking a whiff of imperial leather soap, but then eases into fresh Did NOT get any apple or bergamot, don't know if it's just my batch. Lasts about 3 hours, which at 15 AUD is pretty good imo, but projects just a bit more than an Adidas gift set cologne. Final verdict: Adult version of Adidas Pure Game, 6/10

I have the Eau de Parfum (not anniversary) and it's a very nice aromatic and quite long lasting scent. They did a good job with that one.
