Intimately Beckham Men

If you like sandalwood and spice...this one is a gem. When my husband puts this on I find myself following him with my nose. I don't get all the bad reviews, although I have never experienced Gucci Envy, I am going to try a bottle just to see and b/c if it smells anything like this, I will love it. For me, I'm usually not attracted to powdery scents but this one is just gorgeous combined with the woods and patchouli. We bought a small bottle and I'm on now looking for a bigger size so when it's discontinued we will have a bottle to share. I wear this too, but it's completely different on me. None of the powder comes through. I think longevity is nice but it dries down to a delicious skin scent. YUM. Edit: I just bought two 2.5 ounce bottles b/c I never want to be without this. I wore this all day one day and could not stop smelling my wrist. I think I'll be taking it away from my husband and it will be stepping in for my beloved sandalwood Dolce Vita. In love. If anyone knows of anything close to this please let us know!

Was wearing my new Old Spice Swagger body spray (which isnt in this database) today and then a bit later I sprayed on Beckham Intimately and found them very similar. Same family of scents. I go on Fragrantica and see that Intimately has Sandalwood & grapefruit and that confirmed it. Swagger has Cedarwood & grapefruit. Fun fact: Jeremy once said that grapefruit was found to help with confidence. And then I notice on the Swagger deodorant & body wash it says "Confidence" and it happens to contain grapefruit. Also, when I first wore Intimately (2006-2009) those were the best days of my life. Then everything fell apart and I havent worn Intimately since. But recently got it and it took me back! Im wearing this again and regaining the confidence that I used to have. I just find it interesting that one is marketed as confidence building & the other I wore when my confidence was at peak level. And they're both similar in formulation. Give either 1 a try. The body spray Swagger is about $6. Beckham is probably $20-30.

The bottle is superb but this is not what I call an aromatic fougère fragrance. It's very powdery but the bad way. Not heavy but strong enough for you to smell it for hours once you have sprayed it on your chest, neck & clothes. Not to wear during hot days. The fragrance is exactly like the colour, something deep & intense. Atractive or repulsing. I bought it because of the bottle, reviews & law price but I am afraid I will not wear it often. Maybe if ever going to the opera or any other over cloted event! It is definitily not the kind of frag you will use everyday. Unless you love it but I strongely recommend people to smell & try it before buying it. I don't know how some can possibly say the smell does not last! It's obviously not a Thierry Mugler but this Beckham stay for many hours. I wish I could say the same for his Signature fragrance wich smells ways better but it I can't.

About five years ago, I got given this and loved it straight away but pushed it to the back of the cupboard as I went on the hunt for the greatest scent know to man, you know how it is. At one stage I even put this on my swap shelves planning on giving it away in a swap but nobody asked about it. Today I decided to wear it again and I love it still. It's very beautiful, To be honest, It's probably the best bang for buck I've got here. The woman that gave it to me said she paid only twelve dollars for it from chemist warehouse, What a bargain. It reminds me of 'The One' but I like this one better. If you see it at a good price, give it a go, It's not a power house but it's quite long lasting on me and really nice, office friendly. ❤ Edit this lasted a good eight hours on me, maybe even longer. I woke up this morning and can still smell it.

I think this has been done before, in the form of Rich Suede by Stetson. That does not matter though because this has its own "angle" something a little different. It's funny, most other "celeb" scents seem to be dismissed but I am interested in trying Beckham's line........why?........because the guy seems to carry himself rather well. Every time I see him being interviewed he seems dressed very well, and not just in the general sense but with a flair. It's funny, the guys I know and hang around with make fun of his wife, she seems like a high maintenance type, but she's not bad on the eyes. I feel this scent is a good one that might catch a lady's attention. It is smooth.....like suede.......also, it is not too strong. On my skin it does not project very well but it is of a mid-level longevity. Try it.

Believe it or not, I am a woman in my early 40s and I just think I found my new signature scent! This fragrance is not super masculine. I love heavy, spice-laden fragrances and this is just divine on my skin. It smells thick and rich. Very heavy on the cardamom. Longevity on me is 6hrs+. I can smell the grapefruit initially, but it burns off in about 5mins and I'm left with just beautiful warm spices. I can see how this would not last super long on men and that they would be dissapointed with the performance of it, but I could see it performing better on women. I also like wearing Boucheron Jaipur for men and this has some similarities to me. Ladies, if you're curious and like spicy fragrances, give it a go. You won't be disappointed! Absolute quality for the price too.

Intimately Beckham is a really nice warm, oriental fragrance. How anyone bash this I've no idea? Sure you might resent the Beckham empire but the fragrances on the whole aren't half bad. Intimately certainly doesn't smell any 'cheaper' than other designer fragrances. Opens with refreshing citrus and nutmeg, star anise, then into a warm, synthetic amber accord and spices then a aromatic woody base. No where near as rough or spicy as Gucci PH I don't understand the comparisons, certainly don't think this is a knockoff. It's alright...performance is not that great but if you picked it up cheaply the few hours you get from it are pleasurable. Not one for collectors or fragrance heads but for someone who wants a cheap, nice smelling fragrance Intimately Beckham is fine.

This is a great little fragrance. I've said it once and I'll say it again The Beckham fragrances are not bad at all and it's funny that this one draws a parallel with Dunhill pursuit because I'd compare the whole DVB line to Dunhill. They are very nicely put together, don't tend to be overly synthetic compositions or chasing current fads, they just steadily release good wearble fragrances that are never going to spellbind anyone but give a good account of themselves. Intimately reminds of warm masculine sandalwood/amber/spiced scents like Tom Ford for men, Vera Wang, dunhill pursuit or Micheal Kors. Fresh & clean enough opening then a close, sensual drydown definitely a hit with me, loved it. I'll be looking out for it marked down in bargain buckets for sure.

The box and bottle are very appealing! Made me blind buy and I did not regret it! Very masculine and elegant scent! However it will only smell good on certain people! In my opinion you should not blind buy this, because it might not fit your style. I can imagine this alongside formal or elegant clothing. Definitely not a casual or everyday scent. Perfect for a date, restaurant or for a job where you are required to dress formally. This will add the final piece to your style. It is a light and pleasant smelling perfume that will fit all seasons. Longevity was 6-7 hours for me. Sillage is moderate, but people will still smell it on you. Don't worry. If you are looking for great quality at a great price you can't miss this.

Let's directly jump into a man's portrait wearing it. Absolutely rich stuff guys... no words for it. Portrait: "A mature soul man who is actually only between 25-35 years of age (actually mature men will also rock it) who is serious about his life attending a social gathering like a high-end dinner or date, he has great social etiquettes and gratitude and everyone around do see him with respect and status." Caution: do not wear it if you are very laid back and childish, no offends but you will smell like a Motorola flip phone in Apple's box. Sorry. Occasions: High-end dinner parties, date, wedding, church/temple/mosque, meeting someone respectful.

wow, huge fragrance. Very Gucci pour homme alike yet extremely spicy & warm. Not what I call an aromatic fougère fragrance! Funny to see this one & Gucci's has the same kind of heavy bottle & same nice amber colour. I would not have expected a David Beckham fragrance to be this gorgeous. It is not heavy nor sweet but very spicy yet very sexual. At least to my nose & senses but I must say I love spices. Except for oud. I very much understand this fragrance & bottle were rewarded a few times. No idea about hers but his is divine. Definitely a fragrance I will keep on wearing when the weather gets colder. Congrats David marketing & promo services.

This together with Armani Attitude and Acqua di Gio were among the first perfumes I purchased. I still remember that I paid 149 SEK which is approx. 20 dollars for a 30ml gift set and I remember very well that it smelled heavenly good although it was not a powerhouse. It was modern, elegant, warm and spicy. I wish a niche company creates this very same scent with better projection and longevity. I would definitely pay up to 15x more for it. Anyways, I ordered a 75ml bottle yesterday and I am really hoping that it is not reformulated and I will most probably do a new review in case it is changed. Scent: 10/10 Longevity: 4/10 Projection: 4/10

My sweetie wears this fragrance. (I’m a woman.) Reviewers commented on weak sillage and longevity but I disagree. This has just the right amount from a woman’s perspective. It leaves a nice scent trail behind him in the morning and I can really get the woods and citruses at that point and think how lovely he smells. By the end of the day when we’re cuddling on the sofa in the evening I can really smell the nutmeg, cardomom and star anise on his shirt collar. I love this fragrance naturally because the man I love wears this, however overall I would say it’s still a very good fragrance especially when you consider the price point.

I really love this scent on my boyfriend. Masculin, sexy and warm, little sweet and fresh touch. For mature, self confident man, it gives me a feeling of being safe with him! I find it suits with a man like David Beckham really. Little rough. I think it depends on skintype how it smells, cuz on my bf it's so nice, but when I put it on my own arm to smell him, I barely recognize it as the same smell. After reading the reviews here, i'm curious at Gucci too. I find it does last long, when he put it on in the morning i can smell it in his neck in the evening, really like!

Love it! Definitely a creamy spicy sandalwood scent. The grapefruit and bergamot give a nice fresh edge to it for the first 20 min or so... and then the violet kinda adds some softness in a "powdery" note that is just about right. Not too powdery. It's a great smelling fragrance for a great price, and does have some reminiscence of M7 (slightly, without the oud) which is a wonderful fragrance as well, and very hard to find or afford at this time. Opening 8/10 Heart 9/10 Base 8/10 Longevity 7/10 Sillage 8/10 Definitely will keep this one stocked and on the shelf.

Managed to pick this up for $20, and at that price, it was a great purchase in terms of value for money. The opening is cheap/synthetic smelling but the scent develops into a very smooth smell, similar to the original Spicebomb. Personally, the performance was very surprising, one spray on my hand lasted roughly 6 hours. This scent is perfectly suited for warm nights in winter, dates, etc. If you can find it cheap, it's a great introduction to warm, spicy date scents.

Got this gifted by my uncle. And when I first tried it I didnt like it but I let it macerate and its beautiful now. Its so "sexy" you can say. Ik it sounds tacky but it really is quite nice. Its very formal and very manly too without any wood, tobacoo or leather notes. I wish some arabic perfume house used the same notes and made a ultra strong version of this. that projects like crazy and lasts super long too (DM me if something like this exists please).

Honestly, I really like this. As far as celebrity perfumes go, you could do a lot worse. I picked it up for like 10 or 20 bucks, and I definitely got my money's worth. I think it smells a little like cola, but also nice and spicy and powdery. It's not too overly masculine, so it's good for guys who want an affordable men's fragrance that isn't going to be too masc. For the price, I would definitely buy this again.

This is such a beauty. What a classic manly fragrance. Very Woody & Spicy and slightly boozy. Wondering who created this ! Not generic. and never felt powdery in anyway. Call it an old-school spicy manly classic fragrance. Forget the performance of 3~4 hrs. at below $20, you cant ask for more. and beautiful bottle too, no collector should be missing this. Been using this since last 4+ years.

This is what I call a man's fragrance! Very masculine! Smells like leather and Kentucky whiskey mixed with wood. This is not the offensive, attention whore fragrance! Which is very nice! Pleasant to smell and women will like it. For longevity, I get 6 hours. The first couple hours it projects very well, then of course. It will reduce until it disappears with the scent.

A classic woody spicy fragrance. Bel Ami on a budget. After the citrus/cardamom opening I dont get the listed mid-notes. Instead I get pimento and cinnamon with some sage lending an uplifting green note. The pimento makes me think of Guerlain L’homme Ideal L’intense. Amber/patchouli/sandalwood lend support throughout, as listed.

This was the first fragrance that had me realizing that fragrances were a thing. I was kid and I felt in love with that smell. My dad got it as a birthday gift from someone. I sniffed and sprayed it every day until it dropped on the floor and broke. That bottle made me explore and love fragrances in general since then.

I feel like there are too many fragrance snobs here on Fragrantica. Of course it’s all subjective and everyone has their own preferences, but I have smelled expensive fragrances (Including Tom Ford, which is my favourite house), that I didn’t like half as much as I like this one. And for the price, you can’t beat it!

Extremely underrated. The cardamom, star anise, and amber make this great for date nights. The smell is very unique and warm. The only downside is that the performance is absolutely terrible. It disappears within 30 minutes. Layer this fragrance with other similar date night colognes.

This is a real nice fragrance. I don't think it will do for show-offs though. This scent evokes a mature and self-confident man. It is a woody scent reminiscent of dry tobacco leaves, cognac and leather, calm, and with a gentle masculine warmth. I love it.

Great Yves Saint Laurent M7 fragrance alike in a Gucci pour homme massive bottle. Quality is not as good as both big brands but very nice fragrance for no price if youlike very warm, spicy patchouli fragrances. Avoid it if you like casual fresh stuff.

This is such a soft masculine fragrance. This is perfect for evening wear and close encounters. The silage and longevity is not so great but that's okay with me because it smell so amazing and was very cheap. This fragrance is well worth the price.

This is a very nice men’s frag that doesn’t last long. It’s scent profile is very appealing to my taste, gorgeously masculine. For that price, it’s a good 👍idea to reapply once or twice till end of day, if your nose likes it. 😉

in one word: Beautiful!! over spray for best results, 6 on body 6 on clothes , its so cheap, so who cares!!! Few days ago a unknown girl says... You smells ̈Divine ̈ a must for a 8 dollars fragrance! Best cheapy ever!!

Add some Iris and crank it up to at least EDP strength then it could be something special.

I found the shower gel for this at a discount outlet for 1.50 so I figured why not? I was very impressed with its woody-spicy-green aroma that was slightly sweet and earthy but still kind of fresh, so a month or so later I bought a small EDT spray and was quite content with it. This is not something I would wear on a daily basis or to a formal occasion but it is very apropos in certain situations... The opening of this is bitter and slightly warm and sweet but I would not call it "medicinal". The citruses are bittersweet and sharp while the cardamom is warm and soft. In the heart I really enjoy the soft violet aura warmed with nutmeg and sweetened by anise.(For some reason it reminds me slightly of Christmas time) The drydown is not strong for something with patchouli, amber and sandalwood, but it's nice enough and quasi-oriental. (The Industry has watered these notes down and uses them so often in mass market releases, I call it the SAP finish; if you don't know how to finish a scent just add some SAP...they'll buy it up!). IB is aromatic (at least at first)but I don't know if I agree with the fougere labelling, to me it is more of an oriental woody or woody-green spicy... Sillage: very close Longevity: could be better Overall:3.25/5 Though this bears a slight resemblance to Gucci PH it does not develop the same or last nearly as long, or project much after the first half an hour. Remember it is called "Intimately Beckham", so the fact that the initial invigorating notes fade to a spicy floral heart and dry to a woody earthy skinscent makes total sense, it's meant to be something your companion smells in times of intimate contact. It is what it says it is and take my word for it...it's nice for both you and your (ahem) friend when things get close!

The opening of Beckham's Intimately is really herbal and you can smell some lemon note in the background (I guess it's grapefruit). That's the worst "part" of Intimately, but hopefully it ends after 4-5 minutes. For the most of the time middle notes will dominate - I can smell nutmeg mixed with violet and although I can't smell any anise I believe it is the ingredient that gives the perfume slight sweetness. After 3 to 4 hours it's possible to smell a hint of sandalwood in the background but still it is really shy I'd say. After I smelled the herbal beginning which, for me, smells like anti-rheumatism massage oil I thought Intimately is not for me. But hopefully this smell lasts no longer than 5 minutes and as the perfume dries down it gets better and better and warms up with every minute and the scent gets in fact really intimate and warm. Sillage is not ovewhelming - it is rather safe perfume that says "hello I'm here" but not straight in the face. Longevity is beetween 4-5 hrs so it's rather average. All in all I find this as nice cold days fragrance as it really warmens the day when I wear it. On summer day I guess herbs would be to much for me so I reccomend it for colder weather. The fragrance is nt mature enough for experienced man but I find it ideal for young people with mature personality. It's not offensive in any way so it's easily wearable during the day as well as for evenings. The image that appears to me with a sniff as it dries down is me sitting by the fire with a cup of earl grey tea.

Intimately is the second fragrance worth knowing after Homme signed by David Beckham. The composition is not as good and interesting as Homme, but it is a pretty good date scent. Intimately, as the name suggests, is very intimate (unfortunately too intimate), warm, slightly aniseed, sweet, with alcohol and amber notes, and some spicy spices. It creates a cozy aura in the style of The One Dolce & Gabbana. However, if we choose it for a date, it must be a very intimate date because the scent unfortunately has a very poor scent. In fact, from the very beginning it is very close to the skin and after 30 minutes it is difficult to talk about any projection. The durability is also very weak - it lasts about 2-3 hours and after a short time after application you have to rub your nose against the skin to feel the light aroma. Intimately is a perfect example of a wasted opportunity. The composition has a lot of potential, but it lacks power. If the parameters were better, it would be a hit on mainstream shelves. Especially since the bottle looks nice. The price is low, yes, but that doesn't explain such poor parameters. There are perfumes on the market at similar prices that prove that it doesn't have to be so bad. It's a pity, especially since it's a very nice scent. 6/10

I am typically prejudiced to celebrity fragrances, especially overrated sports stars and their pop tart girlfriends or wives or whatever, but I really like this, not so far as to love it just yet. I tried it when I tried Instinct (which sucked arse btw, talk about generic) and this was more my taste. Definitely winter fragrance, too warm for summer. I compare it very closely to Dirty English, an on-off favorite of mine, and Gucci pour homme II, as the bergamot mixes with the spices and lays soaking into a body of woods. The first 5 minutes was my favorite part, but I'm still very happy with the dry down. I have to agree with John Buoy, this smells almost like Gucci ph2 for a while, even though the only matching note is Bergamot. Though at first i thought he was wrong, sorry bud! I picked up the 75ml for $29au, the only reason I bought it mind you, and I think thats a good buy for a winter corporate/casual smell. Also try the night edition, also very nice,but upon attempt to purchase it tried it again and went for this instead. My guess is that when I first tried these two fragrances it was summer. Now being winter, Intimately seems alot nicer that Night. Go for Intimately in the Autumn and Winter.

This is one of the best bottles you can get for $15. It's in the same realm as D&G The One with the amber and cardamom, but this is much more powdery and safe with the nutmeg and sandalwood notes. Definitely smells intimate as the name suggests. This is a really nice cold-weather or nighttime fragrance for a man under 25 on a tight budget. I’ve had several of Beckham’s fragrances and none of them perform particularly well, but this is better than most. Much better than those from the Classic line of his, which last about 30 minutes. I get about 2-3 hours of light projection from several sprays, fades completely after about 4-5 hours, which is pretty good for something this cheap. If all you own is stuff like Nautica Voyage, this is a great compliment to that for occasions when you don’t want to smell like shower gel. It’s one of the least synthetic smelling fragrances I’ve come across for under $20. It’s a light, cozy smell that not everyone will love, but few will hate. It is an excellent value and a great option for someone young or less experienced with fragrances looking to try something different.

"Not a date cologne" is true, which is strange for a scent called Intimately. Late in the dry down it would be more suited for romance. A better date scent under this name would be the Intimately Night version that has a warmer, semi-sweet with patchouli and woods glow to it. Night is a better choice for intimacy. I find Intimately Beckham safe but a little too light. A slightly boozy opening, safe dry down. It's gentle, spicey, dry down is close and inoffensive, and is the best part of the whole scent. The longer after the application it is, the better it smells. Because of that, it's best to put lots on to get a better sillage later in the dry down. It's longevity is on the short side. Everyday, low-key, but slightly different scent. Edit: I have found that I can really enjoy this on a cold winter day. It's ok in the summer, but the warmth rounds off the notes before they can reach the nose. On cold days the soft, safe notes retain some sharpness, or distinctness. Still a 'safe' scent, but more interesting, and slightly longer lasting.

Can't go wrong with this one at the price point. The combination of cardamom, nutmeg, and star anise evokes memories of a Vietnamese kitchen (not a bad thing by the way) as they are staple ingredients in the cuisine. This scent is balanced out with a sweet and citrussy flavor so that those around you perceive the fragrance as something more unique and complex. However, the only downside is that not many around you will be able to smell it. The scent stays closer to the wearer, and only those within an intimate space will get a whiff. Moreover, the performance is not something to brag about, only lasting about 4 hours. However, the performance compliments what this type of fragrance is; a low-key, pleasant scent designed for shorter night outings such as dates, work functions, or a dinner with friends. The fragrance is inoffensive and respects others' boundaries. Best suited for winter and night-time. Light fragrance that isn't too heavy on the skin, doesn't leave a sticky feeling like some others. 10/10 value.

Intimately Beckham Men, opens up with a nice cozy warm powdery/woody accord filled with sandlewood, nutmeg and amber. It is pretty dark and seductive (hence, the name) however, after you give it a few minutes it dries down into a skin scent. In the dry down the nutmeg and cardamom becomes more prominent, thus giving off a little sweet spicy candy vibe. In my opinion, this is probably the best male celebrity perfume that is out there, particularly at this price range (atm its AU$19.99). However, the elephant in the room, is the fragrance’s performance on skin. It is abysmal. I am lucky if this lasts 1-2 hours on my skin and except for the opening, this fragrance is a skin scent throughout the duration it’s on my skin. Nevertheless, I feel this a perfect scent for an Autumn/Winter night. If anyone from David Beckham or Coty Inc. is reading this, please make an EDP version and give it a bit more sweetness and darkness, it will sell like hot cakes!!!

I wore this daily in high school, all seasons, all events I didn't care I loved it. I loved it back then and still love it now during my fragrance collection journey, I'm sure its probably been reformulated or something like everyone says about everything, but it's really a big underdog in the fragrance game, we get so focused on the big expensive brands (dior, chanel, creed etc etc) that we never give the cheaper stuff a go. This to me is pretty similar to D&G the one (edt/edp) and would be a fantastic gift to a family/friend that is under 25. Performance was fine but I can't comment on that anymore, I see this more for a date night setting, so having a weaker silage and not some beast mode projector feels fitting to me, its soft, its alluring and its something you want to smell up close (hugs, dinner table etc), really suggest looking into this one as a gift or just as a cheapie to have

This has become one of my frequent grabs the past month when heading to the office, although it does take several minutes for the alcohol smell to burn away. A mature scent that can easily be pulled off by a younger man. I see this as the grandson of The One, or the nephew of Man in Black. Not near as spicy, a bit lighter, and a touch of citrus to be more playful, but still a confident fragrance. Warm, oriental, and woody with just a hint of amber and bergamot for sweetness. An underrated scent that is a great price and safe to wear. This would be a very good formal scent for young men or first time fragrance wearers, but still good for an older gentleman. Good office frag. My father wears this as well and he is pushing 60. The only con is that it only lasts 3-4 hours on my skin so I have to spray it on clothes.

Cheap, but good. Spicy wood with a hint of sweet booze. For the price it's genuinely pretty good. I see comments complaining about the sillage (which I can't dispute) and the longevity of it. First of all, you get what you pay for and this is definitely not a top of the line cologne. But it also isn't AS short lasting as a lot of you are saying. It lasted around 2-3 hours for me the first time I used it, but my girl noted being able to smell it even after that. And it's lasted practically all afternoon for me today, after I used vasoline on my pulse points. Yeah, if you're wearing it alone, you can't expect to get much mileage. But I think a lot of people on here forget application matters. If you want to avoid paying high prices, just throw in a few bucks for a vasoline jar with this cost and it's worth it.

The grapefruit note is beautiful in this fragrance. On the dry down the cardamom, nutmeg become more prominent. The sandalwood, patchouli, and amber notes sit as the final notes and the grapefruit continues to be present. I usually spray most fragrances 3 times, this one needs at least 8+ sprays to work for me. This is one fragrance that requires over spraying. If you are generous with applying it, I find that you get 3-4 hours of wearability and it projects about a foot. So this isn’t strong and it doesn’t project much, however on the intimate level, when you are close to someone, it does smell very good. This is selling for $12(AUD) in Australia and it smells far classier than the price. Take my tip, overspray it and you will enjoy it.

This is one of my first colognes and got me interested in different frags. It helped to land me here on BN. I still have the bottle in a bottom drawer. Initially I was really impressed with the complexity of the scent - the initial brightness of the bergamont and grepefruit moving into the mix of sandlewood, amber and cardamom. Now it seems quite flat. Compared to other frags I've tried and enjoyed this one is kind of bland. It isn't unpleasant but it stays down in the bottom drawer. It is a good starter frag and isn't offensive or groundbreaking. You could blind buy it and not be worried about strange flavors coming through. I'll keep it around for nostalgia, but won't wear it often.

Intimately is a nice fragrance; nice but I don't love it. The flacon has a nice classical modern architecture. To the fragrance itself, the notes I found noticeable are bergamot, star anise and amber. This fragrance is so safe that anyone can wear it and its not offensive. Top notes smell balsamic while the heart notes are warm spicy. It stays warm spicy for the whole time and the drydown is ambery and a bit woody. Fact wise, the longevity is moderate and it only sits close to the skin. *It smells different from my skin and my father's(which tells that perfumes smell different on every skin). Its a bit more spicy and balsamic on him while it truly is ambery and woody on mine.

Despite my distaste for the entire notion of celebrity endorsed fragrances I do like Beckham's Instinct so I decided to give this one a go. I like it. Absolutely nothing special but certainly not the least bit unpleasant. It does not project well, it is definitely a close quarters/to the skin type of fragrance; hence the name. I picked up a 75ml for around $12 USD online. So for just a rainy day inside, lounging around in the proximity of the significant other, it serves its purpose. This way you are also not wasting sprays out of a better fragrance. It serves its purpose as a lounging around, better than nothing frag for the cooler months.
