Signature Story for Her

A much more refined and sophisticated fragrance for Ladies no matter what their ages, I did not like Intimately or Int. Night in the womens(but really like both those scents in the mens) but both 'her' Signature fragrances rock... This begins on a very subtle peach note (white peach, perhaps?)combined with a two-fold orange aroma: bitter and sweet that both adds to and complements the soft juicy peach perfectly. The heart is a CLASSIC floral ensemble of roses, jasmine and slightly spicy peonies. This is all woman, right down to the sexy and mysterious finish of musk, patchouli and oakmoss. Sensual, earthy and not too masculine, this drydown is timeless and extremely alluring to me. With a minimum of notes Posh creates the ultimate fragrance for any woman who wants to smell sweet, sexy and desirable. This is (IMHO) goddess juice!! Say what you will about the Beckhams and their fragrances, but this is timeless, well done and ladylike... Sillage: subtle yet good Longevity: great Overall: 5/5 How a woman should smell! Laugh if you must, people but I absolutely adore this perfume and think every woman should own one. It's lightly fruity, classically floral and has a wonderful chypre drydown, what more could you ask for? It is not complicated but it is luxurious. It's not composed of endless exotic extracts but smells very good and it is very affordable and sseems expensive. If I were a woman, this would be my signature scent (or one of them)...

Any perfume that makes me stand out in a crowd automatically gets bonus points from me. Signature Story is definielty one of those perfumes. On me, this is oakmoss, musk, patchouli and roses through and through. I love this. The roses are most prominent(on me) but don't be fooled, this is not your grandma's rose perfume, this is much more modern and much sexier. Signature Story is one of those perfumes that almost takes on a second skin and envelops your whole body without becoming cloying or heavy, like a subtle mist that hugs your body. I simply adore Signature Story and find that it works in any season. The oakmoss and musk make it suitable for cooler months but the citric and flowery notes make it approprate for hotter months. I also find that this can blend with other perfumes and create other unique scents but I love this as a stand alone perfume. I can't say enough good things about this. If you are a fan of Signature for Her, then you will enjoy Signature Story as it is less spicy and less fruity but just as feminine. Do I recommend this to others? Yes and No. Yes because I love it so and No because Signature Story is all mine. Update: Try pairing this with Bath and Body Works's Twilight Woods body lotion :)

I don't care whose name is on the bottle-I LOVE this perfume.It smells almost exactly like SJP Lovely but lasts a lot longer on me (I have both) and has a hint of creaminess to it that the SJP lacks.I have the matching lotion and it smells just a bit different;it has a bit more peony than the perfume.I also adore the bottle as it has one of my favorite quotes of all time on it: “In that book which is my memory, On the first page of the chapter that is the day when I first met you, Appear the words, ‘Here begins a new life’.” -Dante Alighieri It is on the back of the bottle and faces forward so you read it through the liquid.I think it is really pretty and much classier than I give the Beckhams credit for.Overall I am SO happy I swapped for this scent:I had no idea I would like it so much.:) ETA- I am doing a side by side test with Lovely and this has much more of a floral vibe-still like this one better though they are very similar.This one seems to have jasmine in it-very recognizable though it isn't listed in the notes.Ah-it's the Bitter Orange Flower...nice!

This fragrance simply just smells so amazing. This one is definitely the best of all the perfumes Beckham has created for women. It reminds me not really about other perfumes, so really hard to describe how it really smells. The smell maybe a little bit of Yves Rocher Evidence, with a little bit of Coco Mademoiselle eau de toilette (not the perfume) - but it's just more simple. I tried Signature at my wrist in a supermarket, it was really cheap, so I did not expect anything from it. I really hate the other scents, especially Intimately Yours, the smell of vanilla are so synthetic that it gives me (and others) a headache. Signature turned out really beautiful, and after I had put myself in line at the supermarket, I had to go back to the perfume department and buy Beckham Signature Story. Today when I wore the fragrance my brother asked me what it was for a perfume I was wearing, he was crazy about it. Soon after, I had a friend visiting, and she also commented that the smell was really something special. really think this scent are worth a try:)

This is super yummy! Have you ever had a wonderful laundry soap that just leaves your clothes smelling so delicious and you feel so fresh and clean? Well, after the initial rose/fruity top note you get a yummy super clean delicious smell! This is like your skin or clothes but better! So yes it is a Signature Story; your signature, your story! I will add too that it,... to my nose, starts off like Yves Rocher Comme Une Evidence and then goes into Marilyn Miglin's Zanzi on the dry down. I love both of those so this is wonderful! And good grief I had this on for like 12 hours yesterday and I could still smell it on my clothes at the end of the day!!! Wow!

I believe this fragrance has been discontinued as most of Beckham's female fragrances are. Natalie Lorson is one of my favorite perfumers so of course I was excited to try this as I have several of her creations already. I'm big on packaging and the bottle is simple but classy, the glass is quite heavy and the silver cap never rusts. To me, these are the signs of quality. Now on to the juice itself, it is very similar to J.Lo's Glow and SJP's Lovely, however, Signature Story has more pronounced white flower notes and some sort of sheerness to it.

Managed to find a brand new bottle on eBay And smells exactly how I remember it from when I used to own and wear this It’s so gorgeous. A lot like NR FOR HER edt and lovely by SJP, however a little less sharp than for her and a bit more sweet and sparkling compared to lovely SJP and less musky than both! I like this more than the other 2 for that reason. It’s a shame this was discontinued, it truly stands the test of time but I am glad there are decent alternatives out there!

I teach in a night school in Venezuela, so i get this last night about 9:00,pm so y apply on my hand, i never thought it was that good. it come's to me the loveliness of TOUCH of FRED HAYMAN, and the freshness of PERRY ELLIS "F" Beside it smells like those two perfumes. so after an hour i went to bed, i cant stop smelling my hand. very good. unfortunately does not last as long as PERRY ELLIS F. Neither like Touch, I can say is a teenage version of both.

I think I can gladly change my mind about this one now as I've had another sniff test on it today and I actually think it's a really nice femninne scent to it and I actually think it suits me really well :D xoxo

This was a pleasant surprise.I didn't expect to like this perfume,but I must be honest and say that is very nice,soft,subtle and long lasting.Great for every day,casual wear.I actually consider to buy it.

This is my current absolute favorite of ladies' scents. If I should pass a woman on street wearing this I would probably be on all fours following her with my tongue hanging out. :) P.S. I'm not a dog.

I was quiet dissapointed when i sprayed this I usually love the victoria fragrences but this one didnt seem to do it for me. I think it's more for older people rather than the younger people xoxo

No wonder I love it since it's a Nathalie Lorson's creation.

I only have the body lotion left of this. It reminds me of the Impulse spray from the supermarket called Illusion and Elle by Yves saint Lauren. That is why I got it because I love that impulse spray but it doesn't last. When I smelled Beckham Signature Story I thought this reminds me of Impulse and it lasts better so I got it. I would describe my experience with it as not too heavy not too light not too musky or citrus. It is fresh and clean without smelling soapy and warm and sensual enough without too much musk. I love it and think it sits better on the skin than their other perfumes although I do like their others and have them, the others can be quite strong. This one is not offensive and doesn't really belong to any particular trend in perfume either it is classy enough for any age to wear. I will definitely be getting another bottle of this to go with my lotion. For a celebrity scent it has gone in it's own direction and I would hope will be around for a long time rather than be discontinued. Good for the office as well. I purchased another bottle of this and this time around it reminds me of deodorant. That is not a negative comment it just feels like a really sporty, fresh deodorant. The more I use it the less like Elle by YSL it smells and as for Narciso Rodriguez I think that is muskier. It is not as soapy to me as SJP Lovely but similar. I still find with the lotion it lasts all day and after all this time I still keep returning to it. I like it better than their previous perfumes with the exception of the Signature in the purple bottle that is equal to this as I love the orchid in that.

SIGNATURE STORY FOR HER is elegant but subtle. I have it in EDT, so perhaps EDP version is stronger. The oakmoss is prominent in this composition right from the start. This perfume reminds me of a foggy morning when the familiar shapes are cloaked in the veil of unknown. A beautiful woman steps out of the mist. Is she real or a figment of imagination? This perfume is cool, mysterious, elegant and feminine. The scent starts with light peach and bitter orange but it does not feel fruity. I feel the oakmoss notes right from the beginning, which gives this fragrance a bit distant, woody and refined touch. The floral heart is gentle and soft but again very subtle. I expected that rose and peony will be stronger and sweeter in this composition but I feel that it is the orange flower with its earthy tone that leads the heart notes. The dry down is beautiful with oakmoss, soft musk and just a touch of patchouli. It is very classy. I sprayed generous amount on my skin, clothes and hair but this scent still remains light and does not overpower. This is very nice chypre floral. If you love reserved and elegant perfumes that are not too sweet, fruity, floral or spicy then you will like this one. The staying power is at least 8 hours.

This started with a bit of a citrus note then very quickly faded to orange blossom with just a hint of rose petals. The dry down presents a softer version of the beginning with a slight moss note. I don't agree with the age classification, I think it just depends on what you like. It's interesting, but it doesn't make me want to run out and buy a big bottle. I have to add to this because it finally occurred to me what else this makes me think of in the opening and middle notes, mock orange. I had a friend with a big beautiful double white mock orange bush in her yard and this reminds me of burying my nose in it's blossoms. That memory leads me to the visual of her wonderful bloom filled country style garden and for that alone this moves up in my book. I decided to drag it our and wear it today because it's a gray sky, snow covered 14 degree day and this makes me think of a sunny spring day in a beautiful garden. How can I resist? p.s. bought the big bottle

Blind bought and unwrapped today; but will have to be a dislike for now. Strange when I tried this on, it reminded me of J Lo Glow, my signature -- it has the notes that I like, but something in it gave me an instant headache and nausea. I know I'm not just having a bad day because I tested Hanae Mori NO3 on the other arm and it didn't give me the same effect. Even stranger, my teenage daughter who normally is hard to please with fragrances, took a whiff and liked it. Hmm. Maybe I just have to give this a second chance. It's happened before that the first spray I got from a brand new bottle smelled horrible but the next try turned out much better. EDIT: Now I'm convinced; the first spray from a new bottle is almost always bad. Tried it again today and it's now a like. However, I'm letting my daughter have it as it's a redundancy to my soapy clean J Lo Glow; and my daughter likes this one better.

I just won this off ebay, and it does indeed smell like Sarah Jessica Parker's Lovely, and also Narciso Rodriguez. It's a slightly lighter version of both. I think it most resembles Lovely. I have trouble wearing those two fragrances, and I'm finding this one hard to wear also. I think it's the musk, which is weird, because I love musk. To me, this is a super synthetic smelling musk, and all three perfumes have it. Of the three, I like Signature Story the best, but that's not saying much. I sure wish I could like this more, because it's a lovely bottle. Another not so great blind buy. Time for a good blind buy, next time.

Signature Story is such a lovely perfume, sweet but not sugary fruits in the top notes followed by a blast of rich elegant white florals. It really is superb, it smells much more expensive that it actually is. I tend to apply with a light hand so today I'm going to be a bit more liberal and test how the staying power is today and I'll report back this evening :-) Edit: Just about detectable with nose to wrist after 5 hours.

I used to love this so much, my mom had a bottle of this when I was younger. I have a faint memory of what it smelled like, it was a beautiful slightly citrusy floral fragrance. This was much more difficult find than Signature for Her because when I tried to look for it some years later I couldn’t buy it anywhere. It has been discontinued for a long time now.

Lovely feminine fragrance. I definitely smell the rose but it's balanced out by the musk and probably the oakmoss. Smells like SJP Lovely except it doesn't have that old lady patchouli scent in the drydown. It also smells like JLo Glow except not as heavily rose scented and Narcisso Rodriguez. The sillage is good and the EDT lasts the entire day.

This was a pleasant surprise for me. It takes three of the notes that I normally would find tricky in perfumes - rose, peach and oakmoss, and combines them into a soft, feminine floral that I can wear with ease. It's a quiet perfume that has a calm quality about it.

As a substitute for Narciso Rodriguez this won't work, it doesn't feel as thick. As a perfume on it's own it does work! It's very flowery (somehow i mostly smell bird cherry), a little musky and very easy to wear. I like it!

I had it some time ago - lovely floral. Perfect office perfume and cheapo - if you need something to use everyday in the office or grab for a business trip - i would srsly recommend it.

When I got a sample of this at the perfume counter I just got the impression of a watery, light rose/citrus scent with a soapy dry down. I am definitely not a fan of this one.....I don't like it, smells like fragrant bathwater on me, but again every perfume is not for every woman!

This is my favorite out of all of their scents. But I would warn the buyer to not buy this pefume based on the listed notes, because the scent does not match the notes listed above. This is actually a nice scent for male or female, because it is semi spicey, and incensy..Even though it would be good for a male, it is not what I would consider a hard core masculin fragrance. I like to smell womanly, but wear this on a cooler evening, since it smells somewhat like warm incense. The dominating factors you will get out of this scent will be a warm insence vibe. That's it. No note pulls through strong enough to overcome that vibe. But it is sexy...If a note was to sneak past that vibe a hint, it would simply be the moss...But barely...Try it if you are daring and you have dreams of an americanized arabian adventure, this would be as close as it gets in the scent category.

Wonder if I got an expired bottle. usually if it's expired there's a nail polish remover note but I didn't detect that here. anyway I ordered this online excited from the paper sample that was in a magazine. Fell in love with the SAMPLE years ago because it smelled like sjp lovely and narcisso rodriguez. So when it arrived finally I opened it and sprayed the BOTTLE. Smells absolutely nothing like either of the latter perfumes. Actually smelled like a cheap dollar store fragrance impression of a Jean Paul gaultier Classique women's perfume I got from the Dollar Tree. A run of the mill peach scent with some powdery notes. A 'fragrant bathwater' scent like another reviewer stated. Lol. not bad nor offensive at all but just not what I was looking for. Gave it away to a co-worker no regrets & don't miss it

Don't mind this latest offering from Victoria Beckham. Unlike the original Signature which was rather fruity, this fragrance is quite soft and flowery. Certainly not original, but pleasant to say the least. Just a nice, inoffensive blend of peach, rose, peony and musk. Unfortunately I was waiting for the bitter orange kick in the opening, which never came, and the earthy yet spicy contrast with the patchouli. I was disappointed that the composition lacked these notes. The drydown turned out to be quite strange, like the scent of musk and mothballs. I must agree with other reviewers here, this is a mature scent, something that doesn't seem to suit Victoria's stylish and modern approach. Not a horrible scent, but not an overly outstanding one either.

Signature Story for Her is much sweeter scent than I expected it to be. It's very sweet. But at the same time it's delicate and light. It's not an overpowering sweetness yelling you from distance. It must be the floral notes that smell almost sugary to me. These florals are at the top of their blossom. Also the peach adds a little sweet juiciness to it. I usually don't like patchouli scent at all but in Signature Story for Her I actually quite like it. It's not heavy but very light and adds only a tiny amount of spiciness to the sweetness. And it suits perfectly. Overall it's a nice perfume, could be a little less sweet but thankfully it's not heavy, so it's well balanced and soft.

I can agree with the first half of c3c review (thanks for the sample, dear!). In the top I smell brandied peach and orange, then the flowers take center stage, elegantly. I smell peonies and rose and something that has a penetrating quality like jasmine does. The drydown has a slight orange smell with some airiness and sweetness. It's very light. Overall, it is a lovely fragrance, perhaps not original, definitely not assertive, but pleasant nonetheless. It stays close to skin from the top to drydown, floral stage being the brightest. I like it, I'll wear it, but I won't run out for a big bottle... even though the box looks very intriguing!

On my skin, this smells like NR for Her. Although I have to say that Narciso Rodriguez for her is richer in Egyptian musk and less floral. I do not care so much for these two fragrances as I think I have been spoiled with Superior Egyptian Musk Attar that I got for like peanuts. While I admire the construction and the novelty and the fact that this actually smells good on me, I won't repurchase. It's a decent fragrance for those days when you want to smell feminine and prim. It is not for me though. Longevity is very good---24 hours on my shirt. Not bad for the price.

Ok,not good at these reviews and dont really know how it get things across as im new to all this,right,bought this perfume before i had children and loved it,drenched myself in it,had my kids and recently re purchased and oh no,whats gone wrong,i cant stand it,i cant really smell it,no matter how much i put on i cant grasp the frag,then what i do get is really sharp,acidic and powdery in a bad way,really dissapointed,maybe its me thats changed,anyway,i have a big bottle up for swaps uk,but being new i cant seem to work out how to put it on the swap bit

I have a 1.7 oz of this I have had it for a while wasn't crazy about it but I wore it the other day and it smells nice when the wind blows it doesn't remind me of lovely because lovely has lavander it reminds me of vera wang or something similar. It is not fragrance i would repurchase but i will use up this bottle. i don't like lotions that smell like this either good thing i only bought the spray and no the gift set cute bottle though :)

At first I liked it but then I decided it's not "my" fragrance, I don't like the drydown, it's so masculine because of patchouli. But the top and heart notes are OK, it's just the patchouli comes into play too fast and I wish it wasn't here. It IS a real chypre, strong, cold, fresh, mature and posh ;)A good quality. Bitter orange is nice here - actually it should have been a unisex fragrance. Lasting power - good.

I'm wearing this scent for 3 weeks and now I can tell that I definitely like it. It is very different from the nowadays popular sweet florally-fruity scents. For me it is clean, elegant and intriguing day perfume. I don't agree with reviews putting it into the "teen perfume" category. As for me, it is a scent for a young posh lady. Very feminine without being over sexy. Well done Victoria!

well im not dissapoint, when i bought it.. first i spray , its roses, peony... i dont smell any fruit on the top notes. and then a little powdery(just a little), its feminin and i think its for age 26+, for casual or office day its OK. but it just 4-5 hours. i gave it 7/10 --------------- like it -----------------

Just smelled this at the local drug store, in the $20 section, so I thought i would give it a try. NOT BAD!wasnt too sure at first but turned into a pretty feminine flowery scent. @ "MustangAnnie" - you are very right! I have the Twilight woods body lotion, and i put them together, very yummy! I tried this one yesterday and one word that came to mind was retro. I reminded me a lighter version of 24 Faubourg or something along those lines. It most be the oakmoss that stood out in the composition as a bit old fashioned. It's a mature scent that is sophisticated. The staying power is amazing!

I have many hundred perfumes, but this is one of my absolute favourites!!! I come back to this every time when I get tired of all the others... Fresh, clean, soapy. delicate....really uplifting. Does not remind me of any other perfume I have tried. Just bought 2 New bottles of 75 ml. online.

This smells like my hair when I leave the hairdresser. Different hairsprays and shampoo mixed together. It's not a bad smell, just clean and fresh. Not my type of scent, though.... If I didn't knew this was from Beckham, I would have guessed it was a perfume from Clean.

Elegant and deep. But it doesn't stay, after 1-5 hour its gone. But if you think its ok lastingpower, its a very nice scent. If I had it as a gift I would be glad but I wouldnt buy it myself. I want the scent to last for 4-5 hours to make me think its worth its price.

I finally had a chance to smell this and wear it. If I could bottle "beautiful" this would be it. It's delicate, gentle, and romantic. The lasting power is fantastic, and it conjures memories of blooming flowers and warmth.

Ive changed my mind about this one. I got to really test it and it smells just like Lovely and Narciso Rodriguez to me. Its nice but nothing amazing. Definately a more mature scent then the original.

I have a sample of SJP lovely and NR edp, but this one I don ́t know yet.Id like to buy lovely but this one is in a better price and if it is similar to NR actually...? what would u do people??

Exactly the same smell as Narciso Rodrigez for Her, but that one is deeper, no wonder that's more expensive. It's OK if you like this style but I don't like unoriginal ideas about scents:(

A lovely fragrance, it starts very fruity but then you get left with this really nice musk and vanilla scent. I wwont be buing this perfume anytime soon, but it's very nice

okay...this is my current perfume that i have in my collection now...well,not bad but i do prefer signature for her instead ;)......worth buying anyway ;p

sweet, peachy and musky. again nothing new in the perfume industry.
