Cool Water Oceanic Edition

This is not a bad fragrance as they made it out to be on YouTube. This a more darker version of Cool Water Wave, I don’t know how they did it because the notes are different leaving me to believe that they are more notes than what’s listed on fragrancica. This is a good 7/10 and will last 3-4 hours people will smell this on you up close. You definitely get the water notes and the driftwood which is a dark woody note though not as pronounced as the driftwood candles I own. I recommend this if you go to the GYM as it’s $20 but this can be a causal grab. FYI, if YouTuber say a fragrance smell bad then it’s the complete opposite.

This perfume is unique as it focuses on blue elements of this fragrances DNA it's a unique flanker which is closer to Cool Water Reborn than the original as it is lacking in green freshness replaced with standard blue fresh synthetic elements however this is done with a zesty freshness, really feeling like the deep ocean. The sillage is mild but in heavy breeze can be refreshing. It's a solid fragrance to add to the cool water line up but it's not their best. I use two spray behind the ears to get the optimal effect for this fragrance. But you could go more. But it's not something I'd douse myself in.

This is honestly an over hated fragrance. Some people will like it and some won’t. I preferably like this simple, aquatic, blue scent and I think that it is okay for the price that I got it for which was around 25 US dollars. This is a very well blended fragrance that is not very synthetic. In my opinion, this is a slightly above average fragrance just for the price.

My two female coworkers who I asked what they thought about it said it was really good. One told me to not wear it around her cause it’d make her go feral. Diabolical statement. 10/10 nobody can dislike this

Cool Water Oceanic edition is pretty far from the OG which I compared with a spray on my wrist. Oceanic is sweeter, watery and bluer than the OG with zero woody accord. With over 40+ flankers since the release of the OG, is it really possible to come up with something unique with the same DNA? In any event, I don't get any of the OG in this flanker. All that said, Oceanic is a generic, very pleasant fragrance. One of those easy reach type of scents that work anytime, any place. The aquatic accord could not be considered offensive in anyway for those who usually have concerns about seaweed, kelp, or melon-y type smells. Very fresh and would definitely be pleasing in hot weather. If you're turned off by Cool Water, give Oceanic a try. Performance is at the lower end of moderate. Good value, under $25 at discounters for 100ml, one can spray away.

#49 Oceanic Edition is one of the newly released Davidoff fragrances, again replicating the infamous Cool Water DNA. This one, however, hones in on the aquatic & watery aspect of Davidoff tradition. Fresh, sweet, oceanic, slightly salty & I even pick up some citrus in the opening. I quite liked the opening, soon thereafter the fragrance becomes a musky smell in the base carrying the vetiver and the blue accords. It's been three hours so far & it's holding on to my skin well which already makes back its value for me. Even for a collector, this will be a dumb summer reach in the high heat. Juice in here literally smells like Australia.

Easy to like: super blue, but weirdly less aquatic than old-school Cool Water. I guess it’s kind of salty and woody, like driftwood. "Cool Water Driftwood Edition" might’ve been a more fitting name. A nice fragrance, but not really stand out. Dirt cheap, but not completely synthetic or headache-inducing. Sadly, it lasts about five seconds on skin, but longer on clothes.

Found this for under $20 usd at Burlington... cost less than the flip flops i went in looking for before hitting the beach! Its such a fun easy reach for daily wear. 4-6 hours on clothes. Super aquatic with a splash of vetiver to reel it back to earth! If youre familiar with the "Zest" soap bars from late 90s/early 2000's, this is 90% that smell!

Very basic and affordable blue fragrance. It smells nice enough, nothing offensive. I live in a hot and humid climate so I always keep something blue and fresh in my rotation, even though it doesn’t last very long.

Non-descript blue shower gel, but not in a bad way. Definitely a good freshie if you just want to smell good, wait for the price to drop below 35 before picking it up.

A good cheap fragrance that is great for summer. Its simplicity isn’t necessarily bad but could leave the desire for more notes.

Smells like the parfum, but without the ambroxan note. A very basic fragrance - grapefruit opening, followed by synthetic “vetiver” and then the driftwood comes to lend a soft powdery woodiness. Not something I’d waste a wear on unless I was slouched on the couch for an afternoon or evening - it’s too basic and doesn’t project long enough or evenly enough. But as a Cool Water collector, it comes into my collection

It is a nice perfume, Aquatic, Cool and Fresh. I bought it blind-buy with reasonable price. It opens up with fresh aquatic and marine notes in the background then dry down is woody. In my opinion , This fragrance is suitable for Beginners! It is very simple and A bit Synthetic. Longevity is less than Average. Rating : 6.5 / 10

Smells like those toilet bowl balls at the opening. Then like car freshener. Then like plain tropical smell. Not bad, it's just not good neither. Doesn't really smell like a perfume.

Nothing special just your typical Marine aquatic. Salty with a hint of Vetiver to add a little freshness. Inexpensive, inoffensive, summer beach scent

slight hints of Nautica's Voyage. performance is weak. but it's ok for fresh out the shower wear. It's just an ok for me

Smells like bath and body works ocean shower gel. Kind of an exact clone of that synthetic deo type smell.

When I smelled it from the bottle something about it just smelled funky but when I sprayed it on the funkyness went away a bit but something about the woods note does not sit right with my nose so after a few wearings I decided it wasn’t worth the money and returned it to TJ Maxx

Blue, very fresh, metallic, musky and sharp. The muskiness reminded me of Beckham Classic Blue and Nautica N-83. This one is better blended and smells fuller. Gave me a bit of nausea because of the metallic freshness. Glad I just bought a decant. Sample first.

Smells like water that’s been sitting in a rusty tank. A flat synthetic smell far from being a fragrance and nothing near oceanic. Don’t waste 20 dollars on this random fluid. Sincerely
