Cool Water Summer Fizz

This remains one of my favourite fragrances ever. Very frustrating that it's so weak and doesnt last long on the body. Discontinued now and very hard to buy unless you open your wallet and pay collectors a small fortune. EDIT: If you like this you will LOVE Jermyn Street by Floris. A definite upgrade, with no sillage or longevity issues.

so pleasant and uplifting. I found it to have some resemblance to other niche frags in the fresh genre. Yes it has the OG dna, but this is a clever blend of the variance. Very hard to find, lucky that i grabbed a big bottle and keep it until today. A very quality product thats a love from me.

This just smells amazing. For once a flanker improves on the original. I like Cool Water, but the addition of citrus/bergamot just makes it so much better and fresher and not so warm. Highly recommended.

I would love to find this again. Had a quite short longevity but smelled just amazing.

A fresh, citrus, aromatic fragrance. To my nose it smells just like an ice cold martini with a twist of lemon. Perfect for summer holidays. After the initial opening of alcohol it mellows to a very natural, refreshing "classic cologne" style fragrance. Great for the highest of temperatures. Although you will not get great longevity from this, That's to be expected from this genre. I get 2 hours of arms length projection before it settles in quite close to the skin. Gone completely at the 6 hour mark.

I bought this quite soon after it was launched. I didn't notice that it was men's perfume. Yeah, it was a bit on masculine side... But I really liked it as a fresh summer scent. Started with fresh and huge blast of citruses, after that juniper note came out. I don't remember exactly about the other notes but the base was musky. Still after 10 years I might buy this again. I just bought Agua Di Loewe mar de coral and it brought back a memory of this Davidoff.

Cool citrusy top ,bitter leather and suede in base make it so refreshing and fascinating.

You can tell it is Cool Water, but with added lemon and sunshine.

Maybe the best citrus fresh fragrance I ever had. I sprayed this constantly during a very hot summer some 10 years ago. The refreshing quality is so good and powerful that it really gives an amazing pleasant cooling effect on those hot days. The 125 ml bottle ran out as fast as a bag of lemon cookies. Than I discovered it was being discontinued. The performance was rather bad, it lasted 3 hours at the most. But I payed such a little amount of money that I kept on applying. It’s a real pity this excellent Davidoff CW Summer Fizz is not available anymore.

This is a lovely Summer fragrance and such a shame it has been discontinued. As others have said there is very little longevity with this one and has to be re applied with great regularity. Do not make the mistake I did and buy Jermyn Street by Floris who one reviewer on here said smelled like this with better longevity as it smells nothing like this and was a waste of £100.

One of the best summer fragrances of the naughties. Such a shame it’s no longer made.
