Rocco (Mint)

LET YOUR DEDCOOL FRAGRANCES MACERATE!!! Honestly when I first got this and sprayed it on my skin, I didn't like it. That was like 5 months ago, and I studied abroad so I didn't bring it with me. At that time, it was like biting into a piece of grass. For some reason the mix of the mint and the green florals with the synthetic alcohol just didn't sit right at the beginning. But now it's macerated, and I LOVE it. The jasmine is right there in the beginning, like I could picture it so distinctly, like someone picked a jasmine flower and encased it in resin. It's such a realistic and natural jasmine. It's exactly the way it smells when you go up to a real life plant: white floral, with that touch of crunch green, and kind of like sucking a honeysuckle too. It brings up so many summer childhood memories of being in the yard in the summer sucking on honey suckles, my trip to corsica when I was 9 years old and smelling the white jasmine growing on the walls, and drinking homemade mint sun tea. The jasmine blends well with the lily too. And the mint is definitely separated if you smell for a few seconds, and comes out right behind the green florals, but it is just so subtle now as opposed to when I first tried this, and perfectly uplifts it the other notes so gently. Really to me the jasmine pops out the most, it's so realistic! The mint was a LOT more prominent a few months ago before this has macerated. If you're not into that, and prefer something that's more perfumey, chic, put together, and high performing, I feel like this fragrance won't impress you. But if you appreciate whimsy, the finer things in life, making art, sitting out on the grass, making flower crowns, and the natural aromas of the earth right after it rains, I think you'll find this pleasing. I am exactly that kind of person, and I love this. And it sits so well on my skin.

Wow - this was so intensely cool minty. At first I had to scrub it off. I’m glad to have gone back. The initial impression is an icy blast of aquafresh toothpaste and heady, sensual jasmine. The jasmine has that nectary-indolic tone that you see with tuberose. Within 1-2 mins the mint takes a support role, lending a fresh coolness to watery florals, the clove is a nice spicy base, very smoothing. Agree with others, jasmine sticks around. Truly unisex - I was worried the mint would read too masculine but it settles into just such a beautiful scent- I could see this on: - the powerhouse biz woman commanding a board meeting in a tailored silk suit - the avante-guard fashion student in Berlin - the genderfluid garden nymph - the well-dressed bi-coastal gay on a lunch date - the book lover, wrapped in a cozy scarf as it snows This perfume manages to be cool and original AND appealing enough to suit many types of people. I’d recommend testing to anyone who enjoys a bit of risk and individuality in their self-expression, likes to smell fresh or aromatic, and enjoys a photorealistic white floral. The final dry down is a gorgeous, cool nectary lotus and oakmoss, it feel like a creamy tea. Medium-intimate sillage but lasted for hours from just 1 spray.

The initial spray was equally balanced of jasmine and mint. As many others have noted the initial mintiness quickly dissipates. When I smell it on my arm I get jasmine, when I breathe in the air around me afterward, I notice the mint. You kind of have to look for it but it's there. The jasmine is strong but I'm also getting a note of lotion, almost your classic slightly coconutty sunscreen. As it dries down its smelling more unisex and more ocean-like. There is a light fresh powder note that runs through the whole scent. Very fresh. I'm not getting the clove. I like it but it doesn't feel like me. It feels a little bit too cool bordering on apathetic. It's simple. Others have mentioned grandma which I disagree with but I also am very tolerant of florals. I would love to smell just like a flower. It reminds me of my mom in a nice way. She is breezy and beachy like this perfume.

Like the name suggests, Rocco is reminiscent of a pot of mint tea. Refreshing mint paired with comforting oakmoss and balanced with clove and white florals, it feels unique and refreshing, but casual and comforting at the same time. It starts out as cool and green, with an almost damp, petrichor-like feeling, and dries down as a warmer white floral. The mint is refreshing and sharp with that "fresh picked" smell, and the oakmoss and clove give it a nice natural creaminess. It's perfect for the winter-to-spring transition we have going on at the moment, but I'm curious how it might evolve in a true winter chill. I often forget that this is an EDP because it simply does not perform like one. Like many mint fragrances, though unique and pleasant, the star note is fleeting. I love the character of Rocco, I just wish it stayed for a while.

This was my favorite of the scent sample pack I got from dedcool, and I ran out of my 2 mL within a week or two :(. This is a SUPER interesting mint scent that isn't really like anything I have smelled before. It's super green and light, an amazing morning scent for spring, summer, or even a cold winters morning. I absolutely adore this scent, and I know to many it can come off as very "soap-like" but to me it makes for something I put on when I want to feel good about myself and feel clean and fresh. The scent really radiates for the first 30 minutes upon spray with the mint and florals but then dies down to a very temperate floral/mossy/minty scent that is very versatile. I would 100% recommend (at least to try) to anyone who is a fan of green scents.

A shame this has been discontinued. As someone who people are convinced acts like a spoiled npc princess after taking a quick glance at my social media and fashion, this mint jasmine scent as my signature would send them into shock. But oh, I like that it leans toward gender neutral and it lacks the synthetic feel that other perfumes blast me with. Something about the opening of mint is so freeing. And the moss base brings this fragrance down to earth. It’s just so naturally pleasant. And I know I seem one dimensional but I can’t be smelling one dimensional too... Dedcool please bring this back before they start spreading the plastic surgery rumors about me again.

It’s truly garden-like. The mint note is fleetingly there, I wish it was stronger. The most prominent scent is a quality, luxurious jasmine. The herbs (and cloves especially) sort of remind me of white tiger balm but fresher, and complimented with feminine florals. It feels like aromatherapy, I feel held when I wear it; that is the kind of imprint I want to project outwardly. The concepts that come to mind when I smell this: A freshly bathed woman, tea parties, a Victorian lady with filigree, a spring garden.

I love this perfume for warmer months. I only truly smell the mint at first and it dissipates quickly - but it is a super fresh and vegetal mint, not like bubblegum mint. To me this smells like falling asleep in a beautiful garden be. The florals are well balanced and it doesn't give an overly mature smell like I have found with some jasmine perfumes. Every time I wear this perfume people ask if we have fresh flowers somewhere in the jewelry store I work in. To me that is the ultimate compliment!

Wow!! I got samples of the entire DedCool line, and just from reading the notes, I thought Rocco would interest me the least. Turns out it’s my favorite! I’m so impressed with DedCool, especially the fragrances in their series 2. The mint in Rocco is soft but present, and the jasmine note is the big player here. Somehow it never becomes powdery and nauseating but stays sweet, creamy and green. The oak moss is soothing and grounding. Absolutely gorgeous, unique fragrance.

Love Rocco. The mint, jasmine, lily and oak moss stand out. Clove tickles the nose. This is a complex fragrance. To me, the dry down turns more jasmine, oak moss and lily. The mint kinda fades then reappears. It’s unique and presented well. Time is spent on perfecting the product instead of a fancy bottle. Clean. Edited to add: I see what the grassy scent is. I asked my son what he thought, he said it smells like dandelions. That’s all I can smell now. I still love it.

This is the epitome of a summer floral for me. I think my favorite way to wear it is layered with sunscreen -- something about the way they smell together is absolutely lovely to me! I will say, I smelled the mint only in my initial sprays, as it has matured in my collection, it really leans more and more heavily into florals. It smells almost like honeysuckle to me now. Luckily, I love it both ways!

The moroccan mint makes this a very fresh and modern take on a jasmine perfume. It's a very fresh floral scent perfect for spring and summer. The longevity is incredible — I can still smell it faintly on my wrist after a shower the next day. Sillage is moderate to strong, which I've found is true for most Dedcool perfumes.

I absolutely love this perfume and have been wanting it for about 2 years now. It's very light and clean smelling, and it's very jasmine and mint-forward. It would be a good everyday perfume or office scent, if you like Flor de la Virgen by Boy Smells or Happy by Clinique, you'd probably like this fragrance!

Grieving this daily. My perfect herbal, mint fragrance. Wild, natural, weedy, elegant, and airy. Lasted forever on my shirt. I loved layering this over Smiley Face Garden. The combo smelled like Darcy walking through the foggy morning meadow but he brought handpicked wildflowers. Woe is me.

This one caught me off guard - there's an initial minty opening which was fun, but then it opens up into the most beautiful clean, realistic stargazer lily scent + something faintly woody/spicy grounding it. I am not a floral fan in general, but this is heavenly.

Such a nice, refreshing, and comforting scent! On first spray I got immediate south East Asian tea house 🩷. So happy. Happiness and freshness with a jasmine tea comfort. Don’t get scared, it’s a jasmine tea, not a heady vintage jasmine smell.

This smells like drinking an iced jasmine tea on a sunny day. The floral notes take center stage and the mint gives this scent enough intrigue to keep it from smelling like your grandma's perfume. An excellent, refreshing, summery scent.

this scent is sooo fresh and comforting, sampaguita comes out a lot for me in the beginning and then dries down to a creamy mint. in love! this is also the only scent i enjoyed in the series 02 sample set besides milk.

Very green jasmine with a cool lift from mint. There's a tea-like quality from the oakmoss base that prevents things from pulling too sharp, but this lives on Green St.

I get a very milky sweet mint drink. I never smelled anything like this.
