Sunlit Blooms

Beautiful, Sweet, warm, floral, happy, sunny, beachy, bright, dreamy, creamy, citrusy, cheerful, charming, feminine, and delightful. Oh wow, this really surprised me with how much I love it! There’s a lovely sweet vanilla and syrupy orange blossom marshmallowy scent intertwined with a yummy orange creamsicle like scent! It’s almost candy like! Sooo very good! I do also get some white florals. I think there’s ylang ylang as well because I’m getting a nice beachy vibe too. I’m also picking up on a citrusy scent that has got to be orange, especially since I get that yummy creamsicle smell. I’m surprised that I’m thinking that this fragrance will work throughout the whole year, but for some reason I think it just will. However, this will probably shine the most during spring, summer, and even early fall. To me, this isn’t a unisex fragrance, but a feminine one. I get really great performance with Sunlit Blooms. The longevity is really good, it lasts throughout the whole day on me. The projection is nice too, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me.

I got a deluxe sample of this, and took it with me on a 3 day vacation to the beach. I did not have it on my radar at all. It really surprised me though - every now and then I would catch a whiff and get damn near intoxicated. Initial burst of white florals, mostly orange blossom. So it’s floral, fluffy, sweet - nothing crazy. 30 minutes in though...wow. The addition of the salt to the vanilla is insanely good. It’s simple but it ticks so many boxes - floral but not too heavy; sweet but fluffy (not cloying); sensual with the addition of the saltiness, but still innocent. Kind of cozy with the vanilla and how close it sits to the skin, but still somehow airy. Love it. Perfect summer floral/vanilla scent. People sitting right next to me could smell it, but no further. As for longevity, I would spray it around 7pm and still smell it the next morning. Granted, I only tried this during that 3 day vacation, but I’m sold.

This smells amazing! That beautiful creamy vanilla opening with orange blossom is just so good! Reminds me of a mix of melting vanilla ice cream on a warm day with the scent of driving through orange groves in rural Florida in February. After that the white flower adds a touch of fresh greenness, and the salt grounds it. This is more beach salt, like the slightly dusty & sandy scent of your skin after being at the beach all day than pure saltwater & I'm here for it! This is love at first sniff for me. I'm not a "signature scent" person, but I just can't get enough of this! 5/29 Edit: bought a full bottle and it had the more orange colored liquid. Once it goes orange, the salty sunscreen aspect comes out a lot more and the creamsicle fades, but it's still pleasant. Layers well with a lot of non DedCool scents too.

I received this among a set of various summer perfume samples. I was expecting the least from this one, and it turned out to be my favorite. I bought a full-size, and I used it the most in rotation among my summer fragrances. It has a summer floral vibe with vanilla, softening potential sharp notes. There’s also an earthy note that grounds the vanilla floral mix. The airy, white florals elevate the fragrance, never becoming a pure vanilla bomb. In the dry down, a subtle grape-like tuberose becomes more distinct. I’m completely here for it. Sunlit Blooms also boasts an impressive longevity for a clean, non-toxic perfume brand. I’m unsure about the sillage over time, but I’m still smelling it on me for hours. It only takes a light hand, and I’m set for the day.

citrusy white floral, softened by salty vanilla, and settling into something earthy ✮ ⋆ ̊。🍊🕊️🌊☀️⋆。°✩ hits you right off the bat with the heady note of walking through a sun-soaked citrus grove when the orange blossoms (but not the oranges themselves) have just started blooming. i don’t usually go for vanilla, but the “salty vanilla” thing they’re doing— i believe achieved with the addition of a couple kelp & seaweed extracts— keeps it from entering bath & bodyworks territory. it remains quite sweet, though; sweeter than any other dedcool fragrance i own. after a couple hours, i start to notice something almost weedy which i attribute to the kind of unorthodox inclusion of hops extract.

I have the sweet, sweet fortune of being from Southern California and growing up near the beach. Bodies of water make up the bulk of my adolescent memories and the different fragrance notes that accompany a summer day was my first scent love language. Sunscreen, salt, sweat, longing, aloe, etc. Replica Beach Walk and Bath and Body Works Sea Island Cotton were FORMATIVE for me. Unfortunately, B&BW is constantly retiring that scent profile, but if you mourn it the way I do, I think the orange blossom and salty vanilla base here will do a LOT for you. The notes on the packaging of my sample called to that beach loving part of my brain and I'm ready for a full bottle after just one trial.

Bought a Dedcool discovery set to try out Mochi Milk, but this scent stopped me in my tracks. Where so many of DC’s scents lean into the musky skin scent thing, this is so different and fresh, yet the salty vanilla does bring home that skin scent in the dry down. White florals can easily veer into sharp, almost pickly territory for me, but this is beautifully balanced. You can pick out every single note they listed, and each one shines in its own way. The name is perfect, I feel like this is sunshine in a bottle. It’s warm, clean, and bright. Im going to try layering this with Phlur’s Vanilla Skin to make a sort of grown-up creamsicle smell.

A very odd fragrance that for some reason I want to make my signature scent. I won’t lie, the opening note is for some reason a pickle. Before this perfume dries down it does smell very yellow, maybe a little too harsh. It eventually dries down into something magical, like the visuals on the packaging - the smell of golden hour. It’s particularly bright but not offensively white floral, with just enough sweetness to leave a trail wherever you go. I had several notorious perfume haters even ask me what I was wearing because I apparently smelled so good.

I initially sprayed this fragrance on myself, on a whim when I was at Sundance in Park City. TBH it was out of desperation and I didn't think too hard about it. But, it really was obsession at first whiff. It was one of the only fragrances I liked at this cute coffee shop/dry goods store, which is surprising because it's way sweeter than I'd usually go for. I thought about it for 4-5 months afterwards, and just bought it for the summertime. Very excited to wear it all summer.

After receiving a sample of Sunlit Blooms DedCool from an order I had placed, I fell deeply in love with this scent and subsequently made a purchase at Sephora. I consistently find myself gravitating towards this particular perfume over the numerous others that I possess. The longevity is remarkable. I apply approximately 2-3 sprays following my morning shower. The fragrance remains noticeable by evening. I also detect the scent on my clothes during laundry.

I am not a floral girly, and this starts off with a strong burst of those white florals (think daisies) and then BAM! That sweet vanilla hits, and together it made me fall in love to the point that I IMMEDIATELY ordered a full bottle. It lingers softly on skin for hours, just that gorgeous mixture of sweet flower petals. Although it doesnt have a solar accord, it gives off that vibe. A summer field full of sweet wildflowers and bright sunshine. Love it!

someone said this smells like the dead mom in the flashback of a movie (who lived in a seaside house, might I add) and i completely agree. It's breezy and bright but not too bright, 5pm peak summertime. I could not stop smelling it when it dried down, its SO addicting. The vanilla is there of course but that hint of salt sticks around I'm not really mad at it! Honestly I'm gonna need an ice cream cone after this. It's such a yummy scent.

i have no idea how or why i enjoy this as much as i do LMAO i'm a certified floral hater so when i got a sample of this i was expecting it to tolerate it at best but i actually kinda love it?? it's so bright and stunning, with the perfect hint of sweetness. projects really well too! could be improved longevity wise, but its longevity isn't terrible by any means. probably my fav floral ever! overall rating: 🩷🩷🩷🩷💔 4.5/5

UGH this is SO ORANGEY. love it. smells like summer, sunscreen, salt water, juicy oranges, and powdery flower blooms. The dry down is sweeter, beautiful clear vanilla. Wow I like it more the longer its on my skin. This reminds me of Soleil Blanc. This perfume was made for me. I have to get a biiiiig ass bottle. I can't speak to in projection or longevity, but I will be wearing this out more to find out.

Initially I didn’t see how this could be considered unisex at all. The opening and first hour or so of wear is very creamsicle. After a couple hours though it gets kind of musky and more masculine leaning on my skin. I don’t mind and still like it as spring and summer fragrance. I also have Alien Goddess and while they’re a bit similar I don’t find having both redundant at all.

I am extremely particular with my white florals. I tend to prefer yellow florals, purple florals, & pink/red florals. This is reallllly beautiful. Creamy orange blossom, sweet vanilla, & dry quality from the salt. I can see myself craving this. It's like a vacation creamsicle lol idk how else to describe this. 10/10:) Edit: I've purchased a full bottle lol. It's just too good.

Perfect summer/spring fragrance. Not too sweet like some vanilla based fragrances and the white floral notes are blended beautifully. It’s flirty and pretty, without being too ‘beige’. Not my favourite fragrance in the whole world, but I throw this on when I’m running out the door and late for an appointment. Perfect for an office job and drinks afterwards.

Sunlit Blooms by DedCool is a wonderfully sweet, salty, floral vanilla. It’s the perfect sweet scent for scorching hot days when other vanillas curdle and turn cloying. The salt balances the sweetness and keeps the fragrance airy and fresh. With moderate projection and fantastic longevity, Sunlit Blooms is an absolute favorite for warm weather days.

A light, almost citrusy white floral. Creamy. Bright and a tiny bit musky. It has the feeling of dusty afternoon sunlight on a spring afternoon. Feminine, a little old fashioned, a little innocent. Increasingly obsessed with this one. Somewhat similar to Montblanc's Signature. The projection is moderate and the longevity is impressive too.

I think this may be the scent to pull me out of dark depression. If sunshine could have a smell, this would be close. I get the orange blossom, white florals, some vanilla. Sweet without being overly sweet. Lightly floral. A happy scent. Tried the sample then immediately purchased full bottle and still cannot stop smelling myself

sweet, sexy, salty skin by the beach... sex on the beach if u will!! i loveeee this perfume. it's citrusy, creamy and a lil musky. the florals fade away after a couple of hours and ur just left with a deep creamy citrus. i wish this came in a bigger bottle bc this will be my summer scent. oh and it lasts forever on ur skin<3333

The best way to describe this imo is if Alien Goddess is a Sex on the Beach cocktail, Sunlit Blooms is actually fr having sex on a beach. Underrated asf in the Ded Cool lineup. The combination of salty vanilla and orange blossom is sweet but fresh, complex yet simple, fluffy yet sticky. Also lasts super long!

I instantly fell in love with this one. I’m a huge fan of warm scents, and this one is absolute perfection. The combination of bright orange blossom and creamy, slightly salty vanilla makes it smell like pure sunshine in a bottle. It's cozy, sweet, and my new absolute favorite for spring and summer.

This scent screams summer; it smells like a beach vacation. The initial spray is very floral and orange-forward and dries down to a nice vanilla with some lingering citrus. Very underrated and I always get compliments on it, many of my friends like it more than some of my pricier fragrances.

Phenomenal fragrance and a successful blind buy. Does have a mellow citrusy to start, sweet white flowers throughout and a magnificent dry down that turns into a soft spicy sort of iris like vanilla scent. Enormously pleased with this fragrance

just a pretty and sweet spring/summer fruity floral. I can't pinpoint what it is but it reminded me of something i had from childhood. It's mass appealing but definitely stand out from all the fragrances i tried from sephora today

sunlit blooms has got to be the best dedcool fragrance release yet. it's a delicious sweet-vanilla floral scent. almost candy like without being too headache inducing! i'm halfway through my travel sized bottle lol.

melted vanilla bean ice cream on sunburnt skin. butter yellow bikini under a white cotton babydoll. makes me want to go blonde. makes me happy.

Very similar to Sol de Janeiro Radiance, but with much longer longevity, less pistachio scent. Perfect for summer beach days. Very sandy.

one of my all-time favorites. so creamy and potent and summery. i'd dive into a pool of this.

When it's still in the air and hasn't settled, it's got an intense white floral-ness and I’m like "Oh NOooo!" cuz white florals give me a indolic-bitter/perfuminess I can't stand. That's fast to disappear. Once it dissipates... It’s intoxicating. Perhaps this is a child of the 90s thing, but have you ever been to the dentist and they polish your teeth with that orange paste? The orange kids’ tooth polish, it's exactly thaaaaat. This is that, and i love it!! Cuz I’m not at the dentist and it’s not paste, it’s juicy pungent sweetness!! The dry down is so nice! The salty vanilla gives it a roundness and it's sweet as honey. Dry down doesn't read floral to me, more an orange peel, mild nectar with a faint perfumey lychee-apricot. I always get a delicious vanilla salt. Some said orange creamsicle, I def get that. Edit: I sat down next to my mom the other day, she goes “Phfewf! You smell like a vanilla pound cake!” I couldn’t figure out what she was talking about bc I was wearing a green fragrance that day, then I realized: 24 hrs before I’d sprayed one spritz of this stuff, on one of my shoulders. It’s got beastly longevity, but only on the base notes. Loud and strong. And very very vanilla, and very very sweet. For those that want to be in a cloud of fragrance... this one would be really easy to achieve the desired cloud. Which isn’t so common with clean fragrance. Recommend. Edit 9/10/25~ I'm convinced this is a tuberose scent.

This was surprisingly interesting to me. Initially, it was nothing special with pretty generic salty and white florals, but the dry down is what’s quite unique. I’ve never had such a drastic difference between the scent from my skin versus from my clothing. My clothing held on to the opening florals with some solar and ozonic elements, but on my skin is a complete transformation. It becomes much more masculine and musky but still a little salty and ozonic. It’s very difficult for me describe but it’s sort of a sexy “old man” cologne in the best way possible. The combination of the whiffs I get from both my skin and clothes gives it so much interesting depth. Shockingly, the lasting power is crazy and not just for a “clean” brand. I wouldn’t say “beast mode” but it’s definitely leaning in that direction. I can put it on in the evening and still smell it when I wake up on both my skin and clothing. I absolutely love it as a summer time evening scent.

This perfume is strange in that it’s so strong and in your face when you spray it yet leaves no scent trail. I have a love hate relationship with it bc the dry down is absolutely beautiful and soft and feminine and unique with the vanilla and salt. But the opening....and trust me it’s long and intense opening....is so headache inducing and floral forward and sharp that it throws me off. I wouldn’t mind the sharp opening if the dry down lasted a while or had more projection, but this scent is weird in that the top white floral notes are much more forward than the base vanilla. I don’t hate it and i continue to wear it due to the pretty dry down but it’s not my fave.

First Impressions: (from discovery set) Now this is what I’m talking about. This is nice! Edit: So this reminds me of a lot of other perfumes I’ve tried. Hear me out: it kind of smells like if imaginary authors falling into the sea, and I think of if those Pacifica perfumes maybe that tire flower one or Tuscan blood one mixed together. Not bad but I’ll see how I’m feeling about it. Edit 2: Ehh it was alright, but I won't buy a full bottle of it. It's not giving me a wow factor like the other perfumes I've tried.

I do like this truly, but I've noticed a pattern with salty vanilla scents. To me, they smell a bit cheap/synthetic (like Vanilla Vibes by JHAG). There's nothing wrong with this as I love a good cheap fragrance but it simply doesn't match the price for me. I would not get a full bottle but I would probably compliment someone wearing this!

A bit too sweet for me but it does smell really nice, it's a summery vanilla. The longevity was impressive, I put this on before work at 9am, commuted to work and home, cooked dinner, played soccer, and I could still smell it on myself before getting into the shower around 10pm. So about 12 hours.

This really surprised me! It's creamsicle with a little bit of salt. Definitely thought it would be too cheery or sweet for me but found myself really enjoying it. Simple and pleasant. Reminds me of getting an ice cream from those stands in Central Park with the fucked up SpongeBob popsicles.

very light orange blossom and powdery which i love! its sweet and if i had to paint a picture - id say its full of childlike wonder like you're a kid again playing at the playground in the summertime, the suns out but its not beating down on you. nostalgic but in a joyful sense.

a surprising favorite from my discovery set! beautiful salty vanilla with a hint of citrus (almost creamsicle vibes) without being too heavily floral...i will be saving my sample for the summertime! i probably won't get a full bottle, but maybe a travel size..

This perfume remind me of parfums de marly - valaya. I hope it doesn't cling to my skin forever like that one though. I'm ok with this scent but i have a feeling that i'll feel nauseous after a bit.

you know those flashback scenes in cliche movies of the main characters dead wife hiding in white linen sheets and walking on the beach on a sunny breezy day? that’s what this smells like

This is a very pleasant, feminine fragrance. I think this works great for daily wear during the warmer months. I would consider repurchasing but only if it was on sale.

It's like a stronger version of MM's Beach Walk. I'm a fan of the profile but be careful of how much you spray it cause it is POTENT
