Seaside Pancakes

This is a beastmode fragrance, make no mistake! It also goes through so many changes during a wearing. To be honest, I wasn’t sure I was going to enjoy this one when I sprayed it because I got a very heavy smoky/burnt bacon almost. Within a few minutes, I changed my mind and fell in love with this one and needed more! The smoky note is prevalent throughout, but it mellows out and the smell of the most amazing pancakes ever takes the lead...followed by some maple syrup (not overly sweet) and strawberry- and in the background the smell of the ocean (this part is pretty faint to me, but I smell more of it during different stages of development. This fragrance lasts sooo long. Literally 24 + hours easily on clothing!

The opening is harsh with the ozonic and sea notes, but development reveals a true to heart gourmand that is something worth checking out. Lightly fruity from a note of strawberry, a warm syrupy pancakes accord is true to life. My first experience with this fragrance I had sprayed a testing card and lost it in my room, resulting in myself believing that I had left a breakfast plate somewhere in my house from the crazy longevity & silage of syrupy pancakes that the sprayed card had produced. A MUST HAVE for any true gourmand lover! You can smell e-v-e-r-y single note listed throughout the extremely long wear of this most amazingly delicious frag! Words do not do it justice! i found a full size bottle of this on ebay and scooped it up. i could smell it before i even opened my mail box, it’s intensely strong. i’ve never had a fragrance that’s this potent! when i brought the box in, my husband thought i ordered pancakes on uber eats. 😝 at opening, i swear i really did feel like i was at the beach because i got a salty taste in my mouth. i grew up having summer stays at the beach so i actually didn’t mind that. but there was something in the opening that i didn’t like and neither did my husband. it actually necessarily a bad smell but it was really harsh. maybe it was the florals, i’m not sure. dry down took quite a while on me but the wait was worth it. i get vanilla latte, syrup, buttery pancakes, and a hint of strawberry. there is still a faint salt smell in there too. i sprayed ONE SPRAY of this over 5 hours ago and i still smell it verrrry strongly. i guess i’m thankful for that since it’s a 50ml bottle and it can’t be repurchased!

Way toooo sickly sweet. Why anyone would want to smell like a pancake is beyond me.
