Chipotle Pepper

I'm pleasantly surprised by this fragrance. I was kind of expecting it to smell like hot sauce. While to me it doesn't really smell like chipotle peppers or anything cooked with them, nor does it even have a particularly southwestern vibe, it does smell warm and spicy and inviting, and surprisingly sweet as well, but not *too* sweet. This is extremely wearable and would work perfectly as a unisex scent, though I think it leans more masculine (I'll be giving my sample to my husband, who likes it too.) It's a tiny bit woodsy, maybe a tiny bit smoky, but mostly spicy-sweet. Not in a food-like way, though. It smells so good, I don't care that it doesn't smell like what's on the label. As it dries down it gets softer and cozier, a little musky feeling, with the spice becoming less sharp. It's not as *unusual* a scent as I was expecting it to be, but when it comes to perfumes, pleasant/enjoyable beats unusual any day in my opinion. This has staying power, too- the tiny bit I put on my wrist survived me washing a sink full of dishes by hand!

This didn't strike me as really 'spicy' or 'peppery'. It's sweet, smoky, mild but lasts a long time. Honestly this is the kind of scent I was hoping for when I got a sample of 'Bonfire' - I regifted that one to someone else, this one I'm definitely keeping!

Wow, very nice opening. Too bad this awesome opening has already started to fade, being Demeter. But it's nice while it lasts. I can always spray again.

The opening has a nice spicy bite, but it fades almost immediately. The smell that is left is very warm and heavy. I would not say that it actually smells like a pepper, as there is a distinct "perfumey-ness" to iy. It reminds me a LOT of Cacharel Amor Amor. Definitely too heavy for my taste, but I think there are people that would love it.

It's a musky, amber-y, almost soapy, sweet & spicy scent. Gives me an orange peel note too. Very fall, almost pumpkin spice, but toss in a clove-orange and a musk note. Almost too musky for me as a quasi hater of musks, but sweet/comforting/spicy frags are the exception where I tolerate musk mostly. I love that it's sweet & spicy without explicitly smelling like cinnamon (I don't like cinnamon forward fragrances, and most sweet & spicy ones are).

i didn’t read any reviews on this, just blind bought the purse spray because i thought the idea was interesting- i’m so pleasantly surprised!!! it’s like a smoky spicy vanilla, i can’t stop smelling it. it’s just so good!!!

For some reason this gives into a more creamy, smokey smell. Not like the fresh blast of spice akin to a more masc aftershave. This feels almost vanilla like.
