Chrysanthemum

This was very satisfying to wear in an early fall rain shower. It has a green, fresh almost creamy accord that’s hard to describe but I love it. If you like Funeral Home but need something a little less gloomy this is a good pick. The sillage is a little stronger than most other Demeter perfumes.

I'm not crazy a bout the smell of real chrysanthemums but i do love this fragrance, it's feminine and floral without being cloyingly so. Very fresh and lovely.

In the bottle, this smells GREAT. It's bright and crisp and green. Sweeter than a real chrysanthemum, but still a really pleasant not-too-girly green floral. On my skin, however, it dried powdery and turned into a much more generic floral smell. Alas and alack! I returned it. (Demeter's Daisy, though not quite as enticing in the bottle, works better with my skin chemistry. If you're in need of a non-powdery green floral to substitute for Chrysanthemum, Daisy just might do the trick.)

Soapy, light, pure.. And I thought it's scent will not last long because it is not heavy and I heard of that Demeter's fragrance scents do not last long. But this fragrance lasted pretty long that I had thought.

As a huge lover of the Chrysanthemum aroma, I was very disappointed. I have been wanting to get this Cologne Spray for many years and finally purchased 120 ml, without trying a sample at first. Everybody who loves the earthy, green, sharp, herbal and bitter scent of Chrysanthemums shouldn't blind buy this one. It smells like white florals, lilies or creamy hyacinth, soapy (which I love)..I will use it for sure, it is just a totally different scent than its name.
