Cinnamon Toast

I like this because it doesn't have the cheap red-hot cinnamon vibe I get from other self-proclaimed cinnamon scents. It's warm and food-like, yet pleasantly more elegant than expected. I don't know if I get the "toast part" - but whatever it is it's making things a lot more pleasant with this one. I added this to a layer of linear vanilla and got so many compliments. I bought a 10oz spray, but going back for the bottle. There are certain Demeter scents I like to use as pick-me-ups/holiday embellishment. I like this for fall and winter for sure.

I don’t understand these reviews. This smells like buttered toast with cinnamon sugar on top. It smell Exactly like the name. I love this for fall. It is a food scent for sure. You will smell edible if you wear this, and personally I love that

This smells exactly like Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. It's slightly sweet, slightly warm, and definitely not overly spicy. It's pleasant and nostalgic for me, but in the end, I'd rather have this fragrance in a candle than as a perfume.

I’ve bought eight Demeter fragrances over the past two years, each time telling myself this one would be different. It never is. I keep falling for the marketing, the seductive idea of a perfume that smells like one very specific thing I already know I love. In theory, it’s brilliant. In practice, it’s a repeated lesson in disappointment. Not a single Demeter fragrance I’ve tried smells like what it claims to be. And before anyone suggests otherwise, no, my sense of smell isn’t the problem. These orders arrived alongside other perfumes that smelled perfectly fine (some genuinely good, some merely passable). The contrast only made the issue more obvious. This so-called cologne reeks of cheap, fake plastic. There’s an aggressive sweetness that vaguely gestures toward something cinnamon-adjacent, but never quite lands, and whatever it’s trying to be turns unpleasantly bitter as it dries down. The result is synthetic, incoherent, and deeply unappealing. This is, without exaggeration, possibly the worst blind buy I’ve ever made. At this point, the pattern is clear, and the hope has officially run out. Lesson learned, loudly, expensively, and permanently.
