Condensed Milk

This is my all-time favorite fragrance. When I can't sleep I will spray my pillowcase with this, and am able to drift of to sleep with this sweet, innocent smell of comfort. I layer it with nearly all of my other fragrances, and wear it as-is on quiet, at-home days. It smells like sugar and vanilla which is what I smell when warming condensed milk. If I bury my nose into my wrist or occasionally as I turn my head I do smell a warm-milk fragrance, but the other thing I smell is a warm powdery fragrance that blends with everything else and keeps this from smelling too sweet! If your mama spent all day in the kitchen baking fresh cookies, this is what I imagine her hugs would smell like. Warm, sweet and comforting, with plenty of rich vanilla.

So hear me out, this is the white floral, white milk, “lactone” note that I smell in Blanche Bete. Its airy like a fat free sweetened almond milk, definitely not condensed full fat dairy milk. Its missing an inherent savory-fattyness that I think dairy cream has. Its extremely sweet and fresh—as in there’s nothing deep or dark, no layers or dimensions—and a little sharp like white sugar crystals nonetheless. One of my favorites to wear to bed or to layer under other gourmands. Generally inoffensive, office, church, interview safe, and as all Demeter frags, gets a little performance anxiety and shys away after a few hours. I love her for what she is though, artificial and synthetic but still charming.

This smells NOTHING like wax, as someone commented below. It’s sweet sugared cream with a soft, almost coconut note. I wouldn’t say there is caramel in there, just a deep rich sweet cream / vanilla scent. It’s not super strong with the silage, but you’ll definitely notice it. It lasted a fair amount of time, I’d say about 4 hours. I was lucky and found this little gem on Amazon for 8 bucks!

i love its simplicity as a scent.it smells just like fresh ground coconut drizzled in rich sweetened condensed milk when first sprayed.on the dry down it smells of only sweetened condensed milk.very light,delicate,and realistic.over all 7 1/2 out of 10 next to other perfumes.but,if i were holding it up to other milk note scents it is a firm 9 out of 10.

I genuinely think this scent just works with my skin well or I would’ve hated it. On me it smells like my favorite curly hair products, mixed with sunscreen & vanilla. It smells like I just spent the day outside after a shower with tanning lotion on. It’s very nostalgic to me for some reason. It’s my summer scent

There’s something very warm and comforting and skin like about the scent which I was not expecting. This is now one of my go to before bed scents. I love smelling this as I am getting cozy and winding down for the night. I find it lasts well on my clothes. This one really surprised me

This was a blind buy back in 2021 and I’ve been loving this perfume with all my heart ever since, it smells exactly like sweetened condensed milk, very gooey and warm❣️🥛 to me it’s irreplaceable, sooo playful yet suitable for almost any occasion🤫

i dont really like gourmand perfumes but i love sweetened condensed milk so i had to try. i absolutely love!!!! so sweet and milky. unfortunately doesnt last long though.

super sweet and milky but not overpowering to me. maybe it's just because i have it in the perfume oil but i wish this had some projection, hard for anyone else to smell.

Smells like sweet flowers on me

I have the roll-on oil and though I've slathered it on, the smell is so faint it's frustrating. From my limited experience, milk fragrances tend to be either baby wipes or vanilla candles. Here, the vanilla is not dominating at all - it's in the background where it belongs. Good start. The main note is sweet slightly caramel-y sugar and it is being rounded out by miscellaneous 'fatty' notes trying to smell like milk - sometimes plasticy wax, sometimes a whisper of coconut, sometimes cocoa butter. Does it give an overall impression of condensed milk? Well, the more I smell it and tell myself it does, it does. It's definitely something very sweet and dairy. But what I'm looking for in a milk fragrance is that smell when you heat it up in a pan (which is how you make condensed milk, except you add sugar) - warm, creamy, toasty, savoury, and gets sweeter as it cooks down. Or that whiff when you open a bottle of fresh milk. Difficult to describe this smell with words other than 'milky'. I just want a scent featuring that specific milk smell whether cooked or uncooked. I'm supposing it's a difficult one to render so I'll give Demeter this one - it's not what I'm looking for but it is a well blended, pleasant gourmand. A solid attempt. Just work on making your fragrances stronger and longer lasting, please.

Exactly what I was hoping it would be for a $15 4oz bottle of a singular scent. Very close in formula and behavior as Commodity Milk Expressive but this has a slight chemical note, almost like a green spice. There aren't any markings to indicate when it was made so I'm betting it's less than a year old and needs maceration. As it stands, it's a great milky addition to my other perfumes and I'm looking forward to when it ages. Better sweetness than Odyssey Candee but not as good as Meethaq. Same fresh, cold milky scent as Commodity, not a warmed-milk like Mademoiselle Twist. More aromatic than you think and actually long lasting for a cologne strength. 5.5/10 Needs time to mature and blend more.

I'm just gonna open with the fact that I don't think I can easily recognize the scent of condensed milk. This might have made my review more positive due to the fact. I was curious of this since milk helps me fall asleep so why not have this to dab on myself after a late night shower. For a sleep scent and overall perfume, I like it. It's just that it doesn't smell too milky to me; just sweet. It's a light and faint sweet smell that reminds me of a vanilla ice cream scent that won't smack you in the face with artificial extracts. It's like being lulled to sleep honestly 💌

Condensed Milk ends dries down pretty similar to Victoria's Secret Oat Milk and Almond Blossom (which to me was just sweet vanilla) but slightly less sweet. I can see this being a nice scent to wear to bed, especially if it's cold out. It's very subtle but sugary, and seems to last just long enough to drift off to sleep.

I do like this, and had hopes it would be a substitute for CSP's discontinued Lait Sucre....but not quite. Still hunting for a good dupe! Matin Calin is close, but has way too much caramel for me. Ava Luxe Milk smells like spoiled breast milk to me. Oh, Lait Sucre, mon amour, tu me manques!

I love this. It smells like warm sugary milk with slight notes of apricot. Takes me back to a smell from my childhood- very comforting. Unfortunately, it doesn't last very long on me- otherwise, I love it. Reminds me a little bit of Fancy Love by Jessica Simpson without the spice.

sweet and sour at the same time, nothing to do with commodity milk or a une madonne, previous comment about vanilla scented dolls is spot on, good for layering...

this is a great laconic fragrance but it’s very clean smelling too! i got this to layer my fragrances with and make them gourmand and it is great for layering

I really enjoy this! I bought the cologne version, and it is a light, sweet milky scent. Very intimate and milky, not too overpowering.

Plain warm fresh milk to my nose. No sugar at all. I like it though.
