Pineapple

Wore it a bit this weekend. Wow, what a fun fragrance! Sweet and fruity is right up my alley and this didn't disappoint.:) I can't say that this smells like a real pineapple for certain, but man what a wonderful, candied/juicy pineapple smell!!! When I first sprayed this I noticed it left a pretty oily sheen on my skin, and I thought "well that's kind of weird for a EDC to do". My hopes were high that this would last long.....and you know what? It kind of does!(well, for a EDC anyway) I would say I got a good 2, to maybe 3hrs of nice projection before it died down to a skin scent. Not sure what overall longevity is just yet. Even though this is very nice on it's own, I got it to mix with Club de Nuit Intense and L'Aventure. So I did a mixture of half and half over the weekend with my L'Aventure and it works like a charm! Super fruity pineapple opening that lasts and mixes with the deeper notes of the Al Haramain beautifully. Thanks to a couple of peeps recommendation, this was a great cheapie pick-up for me!

I finally bought a 4oz bottle of this. And I can tell you right now, I will be spraying this stuff all over the house, and all over myself! When I sprayed it on, I got alcohol for the first 5 seconds and then the fresh-sliced pineapple aroma came forth. WOW, really really mouth-wateringly tart and delicious. The only other Demeter Fragrance that I've tried is Whiskey Tobacco, and not only is this infinitely more pleasing, it also lasts much longer. Noticed its sweetness for a good couple of hours. 10/10, exactly what I was looking for in a sprayable scent; REAL pineapple, and nothing but. Well done on this one, Demeter! *Update 8/25: bottle is about 1/4 gone, I spray it on EVERYTHING. My favorite 2 things are to spray it on my pillow before bed, and to spray it on my arms when I'm hanging around the house. Layered w/ several different colognes with varying success, but best as its own yummy thing.

This smells delicious. If you want to know how it smells, just open up a can of pineapple juice and take a big whiff. I want to drink it every time I smell it. This has already been said, but it's also great for mixing with Armaf's Club de Nuit Intense Man to give it that nice, fruiter pineapple accord that it seems to be missing as an Aventus clone. This fragrance is quite strong though, so I reccomend not overdoing it unless you want to smother many of the other notes with pineapple (which admittedly still smells great on certain occasions, i.e. high summer heat, because this is a great fragrance). For that reason, it is very difficult to layer the two fragrances without overdoing the pineapple. Personally, I mix mine in a decant bottle at a 90% CDNIM to 10% Demeter ratio. Any more pineapple and it starts to overpower the other notes.

Smells like pure pineapple juice from a can of pineapple rings. I agree with some others, it's a tiny tiny tiny bit too sweet to really layer it on heavy, but wow, that's just pure, definitive, unapologetic pineapple. Layering with vintage CDNIM does NOT make the scent closer to Aventus, but it is a really good combination! Demeter pineapple fades away after about 4 hours, leaving the drydown of the vintage CDNIM we all love. It does not layer as well with my newer bottle of CDNIM, however to be honest, the newer CDNIM doesn't need any help smelling like newer batches of Aventus - because it already does, now that the vanilla has been amped up, which is my least favorite part of Aventus ironically. Overall, demeter pineapple is very good. More like real pineapple than any Aventus pineapple fanatic will ever want to admit.

Photorealistic, juicy sour pineapple scent. ''Demeter Pineapple'' is a perfect layering scent and also boosts longevity. Layer it with ''Montblanc Explorer'' to have that fruity side and to get similar vibes to Aventus with a much better longevity. You can also layer Demeter Pineapple with ''Hacivat'', ''Afnan Supremacy/or Supremacy Not Only Intense'' or ''Club de nuit Intense Man '' to have the fruity Aventus opening that those fragrances lack and increase overall longevity. Overall this is a really nice layering scent, for a very democratic price.

Reminds me of a frozen pineapple icy-pole. Is a very yummy, sweet, refreshing pineapple scent. Is true, if applied with 'M', smells gorgeous. I love this EDC, does not pretend to be anything else but a heavenly pineapple scent. It is an uplifting, happy aroma, sure to please pineapple lovers in the world.

This is what pineapple smells like on the human being. The thing with this is, it can be used to create another fragrance. If you take that and blend it with armafs CDNMI, you'll get the fruity batch of Creed's Aventus. Thank Mr later! As always! Try it for yourself, everyone has different DNA!!!

Smells like the syrup in the bottom of a can of pineapple or maybe a pineapple gummy candy. It's a lot of fun. I have the oil and it lasts, well, about as long as I would expect a Demeter to and I'm fine with that. I mostly just put these on for myself to enjoy for an hour or so.

Amazing sugary pineapple smell that doesn't last too long. Whenever I smell this it brings me to public picnics with my family and enjoying various fruits and snacks on a hot summer day. 9/10 for the scent (10/10 for the price)

Simple pineapple scent, pretty realistic, sweet, like a canned pineapple scent. It's actually amazing in fact! Super layerable but also super wearable as is.

Decanted this using 10ml size. 50% CDNIM EDP and 30% CDNIM EDT 20% Demeter Pineapple. Really tones down the Lemon opening of CDNIM. It’s a love for me!!

This smells like over ripe pineapple I wish it didn’t. 7/10

My first Demeter and it didn't disappoint. This arrived in my doorstep as I was packing for a flight, I sprayed some on myself and was going to wait till I came back to test it further but it smelt nice so I threw it in my suitcase to take with me. I agree with the reviewer below me that this doesn't smell like a fresh juicy pineapple, it's more like a sugary pineapple candy. We have a pineapple flavoured ice block here called Fruju, which is exactly what this smells like to me. I get an initial blast of pineapple candy which I find a bit cloying, but this does settle after a few minutes. The scent lasts no longer than about 3 hours after which I can detect no trace of it, I guess this is to be expected with a cologne. I do like this but I don't think I love it. I am curious to try Pina Colada which has a pineapple note + rum + coconut, which might be more of an interesting fragrance than this one.

Pure, unadulterated pineapple essence. Like the flesh of a fully ripened golden Maui pineapple - fresh, sweet and juicy. Almost but not quite candy-like. I bought a bottle of this stuff to soften up and round out some Armaf Club de Nuit Intense - one of your better Creed Aventus clones out there. After some experimentation and having finally gotten my hands on some of the genuine article, I found that adding just about 10-15% of Demeter Pineapple to 85-90% CdNI really brings a $25 frag to the doorstep of being completely indistinguishable from a $300 one. Any more than that really starts to drown out the nice smoky note of CdNI and IMO overshoots the Aventus target. Great stuff, fantastic sillage for an EDC, and long lasting. And if that's not enough, it's part of a 99.9% legit Aventus clone. 85-90% Club de Nuit Intense + 10-15% Demeter Pineapple = Aventus @ about 1/6 the cost. What's not to like?

This is a blind buy - Very happy with it because it is exactly what I ordered. It is a photorealistic pineapple juice. Like those syrupy juice you find in a canned sliced pineapple. It might be a bit linear - but I think there are a lot of layering options. It also works great as a bathroom spray - I spray some on my towels. Now the bathroom smells like a tropical paradise. It lasts for hours. My towel still smells like pineapple the next morning. For a relatively non-expensive fragrance, it is very good value - delivers what it promises, lasts a long time, has good sillage but is not overpowering, does not smell cheap. Wish I could say the same for the more expensive fragrances!

But... Its just like everyone else says, the longevity is so poor... After half an hour it is almost completely gone...” Love layering this with fresh masculine scents and vanilla gourmands. Its a super sticky sweet pineapple, like you’ve let it sit on the kitchen counter for an hour and the smell is carrying through the halls. Love.

This smells almost exactly like canned pineapple to my nose, the kind drenched in sugar syrup. It is very sweet, ripe, maybe even overripe, but juicy and I think quite lovely for layering. It doesn't develop into unpleasant (tinny or musky) notes on my skin, it stays the same and then it's gone within minutes. Longevity is poor like all Demeter fragrances. Edit: Sprayed on clothes only today and I could smell a slight vomit note so I'd recommend to avoid spraying on clothes. This frag needs skin to smell good.

A sweet, nostalgic pineapple candy scent! This is for pineapple lovers, as like other Demeter scents this is a very one note perfume. low sillage, and is likely to need reapplication, with a feminine leaning scent. I do agree with others that this reminds me most of the syrup of canned pineapples, including a very minor metallic tinge. Be warned however, if you plan to be exercising or in the sun it can interact oddly with sweat and cause you to smell like very overripe fruit, and not in a pleasant way.

Wow! This stuff really does have some kick to it! The scent of fresh, juicy pineapple is duplicated exactly. To me, it's very strong and produces quite a bit of sillage. Initially, I bought this and pineapple soap to enhance the pineapple note of Aventus but I found the bottle of Aventus I received already had a strong pineapple presence, so in the end, I really didn't need the Demeter fragrance. Bottom line: If you like the scent of fresh, juicy pineapple, this is the fragrance for you.

By itself this smells really nice ! I wouldn't say this smells like a fresh pineapple from the store but rather a pineapple juice. They definitely nailed this and although it does smell nice I don't think I would wear this by itself. Layering this now with CDNI and so far I really like it ! It takes the harshness away and mellows it out and makes it more fruity. When you smell it close to the skin it smells close to being overly sweet but in the air it smells A LOT like Aventus !

Let me start by i like this scent a lot. This fragrance has nothing to do with Aventus, Hachivat, Orion nor pineapple vintage. This fragrance smells exactly like Caesar pineapple juice i mean exactly like u just opened a bottle of caesar pineapple juice and stuck your nose in it and it is fantastic. lasts about 4 hours on my skin and projects for about an hour. For the price that is an easy blind buy for any one that likes pineapple. 23-July-2020

What can I say? It's simple, linear, and fantastic. It's pure pineapple syrup, sweet and right out of the can. That's it! That's all I wanted, so I'm very happy. Longevity is poor but that's the case with all Demeters, so I'm not fussed. I treat Demeters like I do body mists, and I toss the bottle in my bag for touch-ups throughout the day. This one will also be really fun to layer with other fragrances I own this summer.

I brought an ounce of this from FragranceX for $13.95 shipped. Layered it with Club De Nuit Intense Man and it took it to another level. Smells just like a fruity batch of Aventus. One thing to consider is that this is an eau de cologne so it is a lighter concentration but while it lasts it does make things great. It also layers well with Bleu de Chanel (Armaf Tag Him)...

@bigbz I too am looking to do the same with my Armaf Club de Nuit Intense as well as my Insurrection Pure II to make it a more authentic fruity batch. 1/8 oz spray atomizers are perfect for experimenting with. I heard a 30-40% Pineapple Demeter with CDNI is the best for longevity, I'll give more info when this ships. And see what combination works best with IPII.

Sweet, tasty pineapple! I can't believe that this EDC is this good. I get maybe 6 hours with 3 hours of projection. This is definitely unisex; in fact, I happen to share this with my wife. It also allows for many different options; it can be layered rather easily, or worn by itself. So versatile and so good...give it a try!

I sprayed this on top of Club de Nuit intense, and let me tell you... there is such a thing as a miracle. I happen to think this smells 99% like pineapple, and if it doesn’t, I don’t care because I know I smell amazing. PS: wife is stealing this, so I have to order another, good thing it’s just a few bucks.

This is not a bright, zesty pineapple, but rather the kind you would smell in a pineapple turnover cake. Starts off sugary and syrupy, then ends up smelling like soft caramel. As others have said; this is decent on its own, or for layering with other fragrances (i.e. Club de Nuit Intense).

I might be the only person in the fragrance community that layers Aventus clones with this for the fuller pineapple effect. By itself the Demeter Pineapple is just pure pineapple. Layered with several different fragrances this thing shines amazing.

Canned pineapple, sweet and fruity, but with a little tartness to balance it. Realism is on point and performance is a little better than some other realistic yet fleeting colognes from Demeter. Its simplicity makes it a fun layering tool.

It really do smell like pineapple. Yeah, closer to canned rather than fresh, but it is undeniably pineapple!

Sweet, super-ripe, juicy pineapple. Realistic and unadulterated by anything else. The sprayer on the 125ml is awesome, too. It sprays a big, fine mist. Unfortunately, the scent lasts about 10 minutes on me, so it's little more than a novelty. Update: I picked up the fragrance oil in hopes that it had better longevity. Nope, still gone in 10 minutes or less. AND the scent it not as nice as the spray. The oil scent is like OVERripe pineapple. Not quite rotten, but on the verge. Bummer.

i'm quite disappointed in this fragrance. this is an overly ripe pineapple, verging on rotten. unfortunately, it's also got this disgusting tinny smell (think about how canned pineapple juice tastes) that truly shows itself when worn on my skin. the metallic edge cuts through any fragrance i end up pairing this with. and much like a previous review has mentioned, this just smells so unclean and sweaty (and not in an intentionally sexy way either).

Not exaggerating when I say I had to immediately scrub it off. This is not a fresh pineapple scent, it smells like the syrup in canned pineapple gone bad. Like there’s some sort of stinky sock smell.

Let's get one thing straight, this smells like pineapples... Well nah shit right? But what KIND of Pineapple? This is a juicy sweet Pineapple that leans more on the sweeter ripe and sugary side rather than the fresh citric side. But that's almost splitting hairs because ite etill quite fresh in the opening and has a citric element to it nonetheless So it opens up with a fresh blast of sweet Pineapple and pinapple. The pineapple gives a freshness whole the pineapple adds to its sweet textures. Dries down to a nice Pineapple, with basenores of p... yes alright Longevity is alright in my testings, this is something I believe is gonna have insanely mixed response and experience amongst the masses. I get like 5 hours Here's the big kicker, for those who seek out fragrances mainly for the note of Pineapple, such as aventus, etc just buy this if all you want is a genuine Pineapple note. This is insanely good Riveraedge out 💪 Wear this when eating pineapples, you'll be confused

Got a decant of this today and sprayed some on my wrist and instantly thought... ive smelt this exact fragrance before but where... Took me a few hours but it finally came to me this afternoon.. “Mrs palmers 5 daughters” surfboard wax.. atleast im pretty sure its was that brand of board wax.. i used to use it in the 90’s. your freshly waxed board would smell exactly like this pineapple scent for days and days in and out of the water until you’d had enough surfs that the scent disappeared. And i mean it when i say it is the exact fragrance right down to the very small synthetic smell/vibe that it has in the background. The manufacturers (Australian Gold Coast, Queensland based company) obviously mixed this into their wax batches. I intend to layer/ or make a mix with laventure and see what happens. Oh... and first impressions of this on the skin... its bloody strong and lasted all afternoon even after a swim in the pool..

This is an amazing clone of a pineapple. Of course pineapple's came first. But, as a clone house, Demeter was smart enough to capitalize on the original and make a perfect replica of it. Now of course, the original is in a form that tastes good too. However, Demeter was ingenious enough to understand that the original is a little sticky when you pour it on yourself. Rest assured, Demeter went to work and, wonder of wonders, they have made this NON-STICK "juice"! I don't know how they did it. Gone are the days of pouring pineapple juice on yourself and attracting every fly from every neighboring location on earth. It is a little more expensive than buying pineapple "juice" at your grocers, but you pay for quality. I mix this with L'Aventure. Smells just like Aventus. But don't..I repeat don't...mix this in your favorite cocktail. They haven't perfected it for consumption as yet.

This review is probably a bit pointless, because like everyone else all I smell is canned pineapple juice. It's a bit syrupy, juicy and realistic! Great for layering probably, and for summer. But I got scared to wear it because it smells so sweet and realistic I'm afraid the bugs will come for me! Sometimes though I just splash this all over if I'm craving that pineapple scent. Longevity sucks, so if you want it to last all day, you'll have to spray it on like a B&BW body spray and keep it in your purse all day!

its smells like real pineapple juice.. its my Layer parfume, im using it to layering with other parfumes. ARMAF CDNI is to harsh for me, and demeter pineapple makes it smoother, Bentley for men intense is a little bit too warm and spicey for me, so i added a little bit of this juice to make it more fruiter.. In Guerlain L'Instant the citrus notes too harsh for me, and demeter pineapple makes it more wearable.....

Do you know when you accidentally drip pineapple juice on your clothes and you get a whiff of that smell all day? This is exactly that smell. I have found this to be unexpectedly powerful, so go light on the trigger when layering this. I think it would be fun to wear alone. In that sense, I think it passes off as a gourmand, because it smells delicious.

Call me ridiculous but I ordered this and mixed it with Creed Aventus and Paco Rabanne One million Prive. 10% Deméter Pineapple, 20% Prive and 70% Aventus. I now call it “Pineapple Heaven” since the compliments are non stop!

Soon I'm getting a bottle of this to blend it with Armaf CDNIM 70/30. Many people say it will smell like the fruity batch of Aventus and some other said it will be ruined. Any idea about it?

Pineapple is one of my favorite things to eat and smell. This is very realistic pineapple, perfect to layer with your favorite tropical or beachy fragrances. Love it and glad I got it.

Layer this with Encre noire...similar scent to creed without being your typical aventus clone Or try layering with JPG Le beau to get that coconut & pineapple combo which is great

This + CDNIM = Creed Aventus Alone it smells like the juice from tinned pineapples so a pretty good recreation of the note plan to use this experimenting with other layers

A summer STAPLE of mine, I mix this in with any of my fragrances to give it an added fruity/tropical vibe and so far it has elevated them all so well!

I layer mine with Aloha Tiare and close my eyes and dream about being able to go back to Hawaii someday.

Pineapple juice. Just straight pineapple juice :)
