Provence Meadow

Such a shame this lasts approximatley 12 seconds otherwise i would rate it higher. But the price is low so that's understandable. It is the most wearable, daily, authentic 'fresh garden' scent i have tried yet. I pick up honey, mandarin, wildflowers, some herbs (lavender + tomato) very slightly. 3/5, i imagine it would be great for layering.

Well I like this one. Instead of spraying it on my wrists, it works better on the outside of your arms where there's some hair. The lemon-soap fades after a bit and then it gets more herbal. It's mild but it lasts a pretty long time.

Low-moderate performance. It smells mainly fennel, basil and thyme. It reminds me a soft drink. I don't get strong lavender. Juniper is mild and has a citrusy vibe.

I tried the spray version, and it was okay, lavender with a grassy undertone, but then i stupidly bought the roller. WORST DECISION EVER. It smells like dishwasher soap, there's nothing remotely herbal in it, the stench is strong and absolutely outrageous. Avoid it at any cost!

This just smells so artificial, it has nothing to do with herbs, smells like the cheapest citrus kitchen cleaner. Don ́t like it at all.

Doesn't smell anything like the notes listed - it smells like dish-soap with lemon.

Provence Meadow. So I thought with a name like that it would at least smell like a very nice air spray room spray better than Glade. This does not take you to a meadow in Provence in the South of France. I am certain there are fragrances that are better at taking you there than this one. This is not bad but it is awfully cheap. It's the only disappointment I got out of Demeter. This scent smells as others have accurately pointed out, like a domestic house cleaning product or soap. This is good for spraying in your bathroom or on your wrists to enhance the scent of a similarly scented hand soap. I have lavender, rosemary and thyme hand soaps so this is perfect for when I have washed my hands. It also makes my bathroom smell nice. Could not smell the green notes in this one. Basil? I wish. I love basil. I don't smell the fennel. This is bigger on rosemary and lavender especially the lavender and it's soapy, and very chemical. As such it's too harsh on m skin for regular day to day perfume. This is not a fragrance but again, aroma therapy. One might also call them scented files in a library. Its not called Demeter Library for nothing. Just check out the scent you want to smell from their catalog! I hope buyers realize that Demeter does not really produce fragrances, perfumes, colognes. They are just very simple one note or two-three note scents that are linear and can best be described as aroma therapy or aroma chemicals that are not meant to be complex or romantic, or even practical. They are just there to help you recognize certain scents and notes. It's been like studying perfumery for me buying so many of these fragrances. They should be used in a workshop on how to identify notes or use them in perfumery.

Lavender bathroom cleaner is the only way to describe this. Opens with a harsh blast of artificial lavender; it reminds me of Meyer's Clean Day natural cleaning products. The saccharine quality fades quickly to a flat, artificial herbal-green note, very linear and soapy; we are still in the ladies' room of a brunch place. A bland offering from Demeter.

Not one of Demeters best. This one smells to me like dryersheets/floral scented detergent products.
