Stable

I absolutely love this scent!! It 100% takes me back to Colorado when I was a child, and you could buy these linen deoderant pods at many of the souvenir shops. It was a different scent to anything else I’ve ever experienced, but loved it from that moment forward. Haven’t smelled it again until I purchased Stable!! Great feelings when I wear this one.

It isn't the stable scent I had been hoping it might be. It is very green smelling like fresh cut hay that hasn't fully dried yet. It'll layer well with other fragrance I have. I wish it smelled a little more dusty with an element of sheep or horse. Adventures in purchasing unsampled perfume!

The notes are Hay and Musk and that about sums it up. This is actually quite a fresh fragrance. It does not smell at all like poo.

It's like if you had a bedroom as part of a stable or barn except there's a lot of wet foliage around. This is like an interesting or mystical forest for me. Everyone perceives scent different so maybe only get this if you want to be reminded of a stable

It's a very accurate wood. But a very DRY splintered sun baked wood. Somewhat akin to broken pencils. It is interesting. It's not the sweet candy like pine or cedar you're used to, but this is more of a "wood accent." This is NOT at all like an "outhouse" like some of you might be thinking. There is no hint of manure of horse apples. Quite honestly, horse apples smell like fresh wet mulch... Most of you don't know that.

Smells pretty convincingly like hay and wood and leather. No hint of horse, sadly. Made me feel sick.

I don't feel a need for this scent but I can surely understand why someone would want it! Some scents are an experience, feeling, or memory. I believe this is one of them. I remember playing with my cousins on their grandfather's old dairy farm many summers. We'd play in the loft, pet the cows and horses, wade in the brook, run in the meadow, pick apples....and on and on I could go. I am one that would appreciate this scent! I would love to have this. I have my eyes on several others, and am not looking for this exact scent experience. I did fill one scent memory similar to this though. I have an oil called Ex Libris Anima that smells of old books, parchment, old leather bindings, and they even threw in a wooden lecturn! I love it! It takes me back to when a favorite cousin and I, barely teens, went rummaging through an old farm house with walls full of books. It's hard to stop and not go into more detail of that day. As much I can relate to this scent, I have no understanding of how one could possibly like certain odors that I cringe from! But this time, I understand, and am sure I would love this scent...just for me.

Well, first try was not happiness. There might be hay behind the leather and the weird chemical note, but I’m not convinced it isn’t just wishful thinking. Second try a day later with a lot more on: The leather is like vinyl, plus clover alfalfa hay and warm animalic notes. Something doesn’t settle fully at first, so there’s definite synthetic chemical notes I don’t love; I wish the hay notes were stronger. On full dry, it’s minky sueded leather and clover, but mostly the fusty leathery funk of a stable. Interesting but really wanted more hay.

If you want to date cows and nanny goats, this fragrance is a way to go.

Why anyone would want to smell like a stable is beyond me.
