Yuzu Marmelade

I am so obsessed with this. It such a perfect balance of citrus and sweetness, the “floral” undertones from the honey are also so gorgeous and add a depth to this that makes me want to bathe in it forever 😭 honey notes can be so hard to pull off but I am so glad Demeter added it to this perfume. 100/10!

First impressions: Fresh, juicy, and very sweet but not at all cloying. *Fresh, pure* yuzu scent, but definitely backed with sugar like a real marmalade. Not at all cleaner-adjacent. This is truly like if Bonne Maman made a yuzu jam. 🍋 This immediately made me feel nostalgic for when I used to sleep over at my aunt’s house on weekends— reminds me of a shampoo that she had and I used when I stayed there.

This smells like yuzu marmalade with the sweetness, but it isn't aromatic enough and there's a synthetic note that makes it very lolly like. It's more like a shampoo or air freshener scent. Unfortunately, this one is a fail. I have the perfume oil.

I’ve never tried yuzu marmalade, but if you ever had apricot jam, the smell of this is along those lines. A simple scent that stays the same from start to finish. Not too strong and not particularly long lasting, but these pick me up sprays aren’t meant to be. Good for freshening up. It’s a nostalgic scent to me, since we used to have apricot jam in my house when I was growing up.

Sticky, but citrusy. Can't really say if it's actually Yuzu or plain lemon because of all the sugary sweetness, but there's a touch that the other overly sweet scents don't have.
