Patchouli Princesse Hippie

If you want a luscious, still smoking slice of hippie heaven, this is IT. PPH smells just like the entire row of incense sticks in a headshop. Really, just go into any one and take a sweeping sniff across the entire row. As all the spicy-sweet and somewhat dusty scents mingle, they are truly heavenly. This is the smell of PPH! The slightest hint of juicy peach brings out a feminine side, but it could definitely be worn by a man, too. It is not a very mysterious scent, per se, but it hints at the unexplored and carefree days of young adulthood that are both exhilarating and terrifying. It smells of psychedelic sunshine and rainy days spent inside, composing poetry, sketching in charcoals, playing guitar, and typing on a manual typewriter. This one is definitely for patchouli lovers only, and if you're on a hippie budget, you might want to slip down to the local headshop for some nice Kush oil, instead.

a velevety deep ambarry beautiful sensual fragrance ..its so deep it reminds me of the olden days where perfumes we still natural and pure and actually lingered..if you are in to opioum ysl and coco chanel and cinibar from estelauder chances are you will love this one ..but this i believe is made for a younger audiance and is sweeter ..any how its simply heavenly in winter..its oriental woody and defenitly for vanila lovers.. rating 4.8 out 5

As a patchouli lover, I have duly noted the vast variety of moods in which this note presents itself. Altered noticeably when placed in unison with various other notes, it's amazing how different it can smell from one incarnation to another. I am a huge fan for instance, of patchouli married to sandalwood, such as in Villoresi's Sandalo or Reminiscence's Patchouli. Coming in a close second is patchouli hanging out with amber, as it is in Profumum's version and in a different way here in Patchouli Princess Hippie. Depending on the amber, this can send the scent into a stage of alarming sweetness, or in this case a state of perfect, warm unison. Then comes the kicker, which sets this scent apart from some of it's peers, and that it the peach note. Perfectly distinguished and with just enough sugar to give this the twist of sweetness that sees it designated as a feminine fragrance. However, I would heartily argue that this is not necessarily the case. The sweetness of this peach/amber combo never takes Hippie over the girly edge. I find it walks her arm and arm around the head shop, with a knowing smile on her face. As a guy, I feel that this is decidedly more unisex than Histoires Noir Patchouli for instance, as it lacks the floral bouquet and musk notes that give that one a bit of a lolly sweet edge, like those pink musk stick sweets we ate as kids. Mind you, I happily wear both concoctions, as I'm not overly concerned with gender derivations in fragrance. If I like it, I'll wear it. I'd just hate any guys that love patchouli out there, to see the name of this princess and that it's marketed to women, and to just dismiss it out of hand. It's a lovely cosmic patchouli scent, perfectly unisex, with great lasting power and polite projection. It always makes me smile when I wear it, and that's always a great bonus!

This just screams my name. Has all the ingredients I love: Loud patchouli and heavy amber. Yes, there is a heaven people!!
