Il Giardino di Freya

Delicate spring flowers, sweet green, dewy with a woody, musky background. Calming. Beautiful and elegant. It really does smell like a beautiful garden after the rain or early in the morning with the dew still on the petals with the tiniest amount of peppery petrichor to add to the realism. There is a clarity in this blend - is it the lotus w/the jasmine that creates such a clear sweet gorgeous dewy, white flower? The sillage and longevity are surprisingly strong and long lasting for this type of floral. It lasts a good 10-12 hours on the skin & 2 days on clothing. I have received quite a few compliments on this serene beauty. A friend visited with me recently and out of my entire collection she chose this to wear again and again. This isn't my first DG1924 - in my opinion this perfumer deserves more attention. The bottle itself is a simple strong square glass bottle with a bit of heft and comes in a lovely box with a pull string ribbon. Nice presentation but the juice is just simply lovely.
