La Baia di Jasmine

Finally got my hands on a sample. Now the juice. First I get a blast of super bright rubbery jasmine. No indoles in there, very clear and clean white flower jasmine. Within less than 10 minutes I can identify the musk - also a clean very lightly fuzzy musk that conjures purity. These are the 2 main players for at least a half hour and then the heliotrope makes way. The entire effect is an innocent "pretty" which makes sense since it is the first in the trio and represents heart fluttering first love. There are fragrances out there that have variations on this combination of notes but normally there is a heavy hand in one of the facets with the addition of vanilla for a sexier smell. This perfume however is none of that - this one intentionally remains restrained and thankfully the heliotrope and the mallow musk are allowed to center this perfume with no actual vanilla. It is not going to knock anyone over or knock anyone out. It is easy, sweet, innocent and pretty. It's a fragrance I could see myself wearing every day. The sillage is medium, longevity is medium as fits this composition. I think DFG1924 would get a lot more love if they were easier to obtain.
