Who knew that the simple combination of galbanum, sandalwood and dark amber accords could be so simple and yet so deeply complex? The dark amber and sandalwood prevent the galbanum from being too austere or too "bitchy" and the galbanum prevents the dark amber and the sandalwood from being too sweet and too cloying. It is at once an attention getter and could be worn out to a special occasion and yet it is also very relaxed and can be worn daily with jeans. It melds into your skin and becomes YOU. This also make it an exquisitely modern and very Italian fragrance. Longevity is fantastic and sillage is medium to intense. This is a powerful perfume that is basically all base notes, no light and fluffy top notes or florals or citruses of any kind so you don't want to over spray. This is the 3rd DFG1924 fragrance I own and it is truly a pity how difficult it is to get these fragrances even in Europe. High quality juice yet simple, but beautiful and substantial packaging. The back of the bottle is etched with a floral pattern that is quite pretty. The atomizer they use with all of their perfumes is perfection.
