Lazy Lop

a gorgeous earthy and woody forward scent with some fun animalic accords. This opens with an earthy and vegetal carrot, some woodiness and a hint of fruitiness from the banana. This banana feels specifically green, unripe. The heart of this is very fluffy and musky, like your pets fur, it’s comforting and softly sweet. That follows into the dry down but has some warmth to it with an earthy tonka bean, woody sandalwood and dry hay. It’s an interesting scent profile that works really well.

As an actual lop rabbit parent and having met James, we bonded over our lop rabbits so a) he's very much a bunny person b) he GETS it. When I wore it it smelled exactly like my sweet baby boy bunny Gilgamesh who passed away a year ago. It was so beautiful to smell him again through this fragrance. Also! James gets it because I feel like other rabbit-associated fragrances always emphasize carrots when that's really not part of actual rabbits diet.

Fresh, herbal, with a musk backing, it all works really well together. I most smell the carrot, oakmoss, pink pepper, and hay, it’ll work great for spring! An odd descriptor that keeps coming to mind, is that it smells like it should have some sort of cooling sensation, like the feeling of eucalyptus oil, it’s almost soothing. It’s warmed up as I wear it longer, it still remains herbal, but now it has a clean nose, and a warm body.

Came for the shedded bunny fluff, stayed for the warm, earthy dry down. On my first spray, I was disappointed because it came off cold and astringent on the opening, almost medicinal. I wonder if it was the willow bark? There's definitely something indolic about it. But in time, it dried down very nicely to a fresh, earthy, musky scent—warm and cozy. After the first wear, it feels warmer and sweeter. I'm able to pick up on the carrot and banana in the opening, and it feels a little more wearable. Probably my most complex fragrance, and not one I'd reach for every day. If you keep it to 2 sprays max, it stays light and sweet and fresh. More and it would get quite overwhelming.

heavy on the vegetal & earthy woodiness. the addition of the banana makes it smell like starting a fresh compost bin. in the best possible way! as a gardener, this was a fun & enjoyable scent for me but i’m not sure it’s wearable.

smells discordant to me, like hitting all the piano keys from the same scale at once. i really thought i was gonna love it but it’s just like pulling spicy, then musky then earthy out of a bag of mysteries and none of them actually go together.
