White Cat Milktea

This is the first rice scent I've had and it's everything I want almond scents to be if that makes sense. Almond is one of those notes that I find so calm and lovely but in fragrance takes on such a brass unraveling. But I LOVE the rice milk of this fragrance and honestly was a bit nervous about it due to some gourmand notes just not hitting it for me. Imagine a long haired fluffy white cat sitting next to a warm cup of milktea and sweet sticky rice (but not too sweet at all) is steaming next to it. This fragrance is such a unique and beautiful skin scent. If someone told me they struggle with fragrance due to headaches or them being over bearing I would absolutely recommend this. It's a sweet scent thats not sweet. It's powdery without powder. It's a skin scent without musk. It will keep you sniffing your wrist all day and reminding you to take moments to just embrace the smell and calm your day. This is your favorite cashmere sweater on a spring day when rain is dropping onto flowers. This is tranquility in the little moments that give us joy bottled up. It's wonderful and I am in love with the brand, the artistry, and the dedication to bringing something new to the table.

I purchased this fragrance in the Holiday Cat Collection sample set. My first impression upon receiving the collection was the impeccable attention to detail in design, including a travel storage bag, scent card envelopes, and unique “trading cards” with descriptions and cute graphics for each scent. The miniature 10ml bottles are stunning and have a quality cap and atomizer. This fragrance is so far my favorite of the collection. It opens with a surprisingly fresh, semi-green, lactonic notes and builds to a sweet, soft profile that is very wearable for day to day or public facing employment. I would describe the sillage as moderate to strong, with enduring duration after only one spray. I highly recommend you check out this fragrance if you’re a cat lover or milky fragrance fiend!

White Cat Milktea is such a unique cozy frag- it gives me cashmere sweater vibes- similar to Diptyque L’eau Papier with the dry rice and iris thing going on, but this one has a bit of tea and white florals going on as well, making it a bit more complex to me. There’s a faint animalic note, but it blends into a soft musk and slightly ambergris-like minerality. Need to get a full bottle v soon!!

A very intimate skin scent. To me this is cream, icing sugar and musky cat fur. I can’t say I detect any other notes, but I love this. Very comforting and cosy. I wish it was stronger. It reminds me of D’annam’s White Rice, although this is sweeter and I prefer this one.

Amazing rice and tea notes which are backed well by the musk. It kind of smells like milk oolong- ultimately a very intricate, nuanced, and enjoyable fragrance.
