Jinko

Jinko is a gently growling tiger of a woody aromatic oud based perfume. The key ingredient here is herbal and earthy Vietnamese Jinko oud. In many ways Jinko is the male counterpart of the beautiful floral agarwood DI SER offering Kyara. The perfumer chooses a rooty vetiver, cypriol oil, cedar and sandalwood to round off this beautiful juice. Mysterious, earthy, spiritual, understated, this is another splendid but extremely difficult to get offering from the amazing DI SER line. The scent is masculine leaning with moderate projection and very good lasting power. Enjoy!

This fragrance reminds me so much of walking into a forest. earthy, green, and woody with that beautiful, sweet kyara note. As the fragrance dried down, I could detect a light resinous oudiness to it, in addition to the kyara note. Much like others stated, there is an almost floral quality about it as well, like rose or geranium, which I find very appealing. Overall this is a beautiful fragrance that I would really love to own and would recommend to anyone interested in this house.

An initial burst of what smells like herbaceous blunt citrus. A slightly green pineiness swirls around. I could swear there is a strong geranium note here, and would be surprised if it's really just facets of the oud and nargamotha together. Jinko is not a heavy perfume, it retains a lightness whilst remaining assertive. Jinko is fairly dry, and the sweetness is pleasant. This feels like a masculine-leaning unisex scent. The other ingredients are blended well - I can't distinguish the individual notes, apart from the vetiver which peaks through the medicinal green woodiness now and then at the beginning. Jinko develops softer, sweeter and slightly more medicinal, but this isn't a bad thing - Jinko is a beautiful perfume. There are also minty nuances throughout. Slightly challenging perhaps, only because of its uniqueness, but relaxing and comforting to those who surrender themselves to the forest and earth that Jinko emanates.
