Tsuki

A gaze at the night moon This is one of the most unconventional fragrances I have smelled. That is certainly not to say it is undesirable, but more of a contemplative fragrance that evokes memories. The opening is a ray of bright, juicy-tart lemon backed by an aromatic combination of herbal basil with cooling juniper berry and peppermint. As time goes on, the lemon starts to subside and the aforementioned aromatics circulate prominence of their notes. toward the end of the wearing, the cooling mint aspect seems to take over and combine with the fresh, spicy-green patchouli which eventually dominates as the aromatics dissipate. This fragrance reminds me of a cool spring night, sitting on the Okinawa seawall with a bright moon overhead...

What a splendid blind buy. I usually do not do it. But this time I felt for the good reviews here. Thank you ladies and gentlemen. I wanted to try something different, something not hyped, not the usual "niche" brand. Di Ser Tsuki filled my sense of smell with a beautifull blast of herbal, green, mint freshness. It surrounds me with such a natural herbal soft aura. It is so comforting both to my nose, my brain (the way I reflect on Tsuki as art of perfume), my soul (the way it made me feel). You can actually detect the ingredients in this beautiful perfume. It is not a difficult perfume to understand. It is balance, its harmony it is beauty it is Japanese.

This took me by surprise, after not really grooving on one or two other Di Ser samples I'd tried recently. At the first blast of mint I was pretty sure this was not for me. But then! The coolness evaporated and suddenly there was patchouli, like a stoner arriving late to a dinner party because they forgot snacks. Somehow it all works, and somehow a perfume developed from a garden in Japan smells to me exactly like traversing the wood floors of the earthy-crunchy-natural-holistic marketplace of my youth (Thornes in Northampton, MA). I love it so much I just bought a full bottle, my first in several years. Very unique and rejuvenating.

Tsuki means « the Moon »in Japanese. The fragrance is a crisp combination of yuzu, lemon and mint with spicy herbal notes from basil and a light touch of patchouli. A mix of juniper and coriander almost creates a boozy feeling that is both surprising and unique. Musk is not listed in the ingredients but I get an herbal, minty and musky dry down. If you are a fan of mint fragrances, this could be your holy mint grail.😊🍃

On my skin Tsuki opens with bright and sour lemon, and refreshing mint. The mint smells muddled, as if it were crushed together with sugar and ice, and cools my mind off tremendously. The drydown is sweet, green and peaceful. This is a wonderful fragrance to wear in the summer heat! Thanks to Rajesh Balkrishnan I was able to sample Tsuki. My mind feels as cool and silver as the moon!
