Bonne Étoile Baby Dior

Time for a review, as below yet nothing is said about this perfume. So I am a frag lover, not native english, sorry... you will have to do with some grammar mistakes I guess. Because we have a nice collection of niche, of course I wanted my little boy to have some nice perfumes for him as well. I already bought the Bulgary, the Lolilta Lempicka and also the Micallef collection. Now I added Dior Bonne Étoile to his small collection. At first you think ‘I smell nothing’ It’s later after the dry down you get the velvety musk and some fresh rose. I do not pick up the pear yet. It gives also some soft milky vanilla vibes. You need more then 1 spray, that is sure. Also, I never spray on the skin, so I sprayed lightly on his clothes before wearing. It’s an intimate scent for sure, but who wants his baby to smell from the end of the street? You pick up the notes when you cuddle or pick up your child, or when passing near the cradle. My boy is past 6 months now, I did not use it before that age. It’s up to each parent of course, but I believe that to many smells can disrupt bonding between mom and baby. That is why until now I did not use perfume myself, only a light coconut water after bathing, so he would recognise that as me, and I would not be a stinky mom. 😅 The price? Yes this is expensive, I would not pay full price unless I would not have to watch out for what I spend. I found it for €100 instead of €255. Also, I noticed that on the skin, I sprayed on my arm for testing first, it dries down somewhat sticky. Not like glue, but it feels sticky and it goes away after a while. I read about baby perfumes not containing the products to protect from sunlight and not having stabelising agents, so maybe that is why it feels different on the skin than the standard perfume we know. The white color does not stain as well. I sprayed on a white shirt and a blue shirt, nothing to see after drying down. It is a pleasant scent when you get used to it. It’s very soft and gives the baby vibes for sure, more luxury baby ... not like the standard baby product scents we know grom the pharmacy. The bottle is very nice looking, it fits the private collection from Dior of course. I would have preferred light blue instead of green for my boy, I don’t know why they choose this color and then pink. Both colors are the same juice. So I am happy I have this scent, but I would not buy full price myself. Now the hunt continues for Petit Guerlain and the Burberry baby edition...

Does my baby really need a perfume? I mean...well, MY baby will because I'm a fragrance nut and of course I'll want my baby to smell good, but I don't think the average person is going to spray perfume on their babies. lol. Also, is this non-toxic, organic, alcohol free, water based, eco-friendly, and free from all chemicals? Only the best for baby!

i didn't realize this is marketed to babies (lmao)? i've been searching up and down for a sample bottle and i couldn't find anything. like, i just assumed the "baby" part of the name was stylistic. anyway, i hope to have enough frivolous spending money to buy a bottle for myself, because the notes are right up my alley.

OMG it's just released in Southeast Asian boutiques, and the price for 100ml "scented water" is nearly 250 usd, it's higher than the price of Miss Dior EDP (100ml bottle) lol. That's so crazy for a "scented water"

Oh, what a steal! A fragrance so overpriced, it could probably teach your baby how to file taxes while smelling like a luxury nursery. Who knew that fresh baby scent could come with such a hefty price tag?

Soon you'll be able to buy Dior nappies, Dior dog food and Dior condoms! LVMH will do anything to get your £€$¥₩

This is not only for rich kids but also for rich adults who loves hello kitty and pink and stars and hearts.

The only reason I want this is because the bottle looks like Dior Sauvage but for babies lmao
