i dont know if it has any sense wearing fragrances during the covid19 era, with masks it's very hard to smell anything...other than that, let's talk about fragrances. dune and higher are the most underrated dior edt. higher is more easygoing, dune is more sosphisticated yet casual. dior dune has a very evocative smell, it really reminds a walk on sands, an oasis in the middle of desert. the combo of the fig, the main note of the juice, vetiver, cedar, rose and oakmoss(listed in the ingredients on the box) gives a natural, sunny and refreshing vibe. it's a bit unique but not hard to wear, maybe a youngster can find it too mature but the quality of the juice is clear. the cons of the fragrance are the cost and the performance.i found it for a good price because dune it's not a blockbuster in the fragrance game. i love this scent but the price is too high for what u get. the scent is great but this is not a super masterpiece, not an m7 or versace versus uomo. someone says it's discontinued, i dont know if it's true and im sad about that but i will not smash my head on the wall. the performance is not so good, decent longevity but poor sillage(my bottle is from 2008). i also prefer two fig based fragrances on this: ferragamo pour homme, a mood booster with better longevity, and davidoff good life, richer, denser with a great performance. overall, i love dior dune, comparing to the current offering is something that gives to you another prespective. shame about the poor performance. dior dune è davvero un bel profumo, fresco, erbaceo con un odore che evoca una passeggiata nel deserto, non distante da un'oasi. se non vi piace la nota di fico evitate. se avesse avuto una performance migliore dune avrebbe un'altra considerazione. scent-8,5 long-6,5 sillage-5,5 uniqueness-8 bottle design-6 versatility-8 compliment factor-6,5(it would be higher with a better performance) rebuy?yes my vote-8 in one word- oasis alternative- davidoff good life

I gifted this to my husband a few days ago. He needed a new summer scent, and was going to pick up a cheapie or a body spray just to get through the summer months. I felt he deserved something very nice, and very special, so based on reviews, and that Dior and Dune are classic and revered, I went with Dune. No, it is not the usual watery sweet so called aquatic. Not generic in the least. Very classy, casual, natural. Comes off a tad sweet initially, but not so much so. A bit of herb, spice, mixed with dry floral and fruit, woody , clean sand and sunshine fresh. Fresh without added citrus or minty mint... must be the sage and basil . It does not scream Green however. It is blended exceptionally well. On him, it`s masculine and sexy, but not overwhelming in any way. I want to forever lean in to experience. It is a complement even to his physical appearance - golden brown (I call him my Butterscotch) skin tone, clean shaven head and face, a broad, strong, and mature man. He will not smell as a teen, a very young man, or of a common, redone, overdone scent. I cannot think of anyone I have encountered lately wearing a similar scent, so this will be associated only with him. I think this will go over well for him during the muggy humid Michigan summer since it gives off an arid sandy dryness. He has taken a liking to outdoor activities, and I believe this is perfect for being outside, and also for any event summertime might bring. Sillage is 6/10 Longevity so far about 10+ hours

Dior Dune carries you on the wings of the wind Dior Dune is a special creation in the world of perfumery. It seems that it does not find its place in these times, although it shines like a star and radiates the peace that we all want most of the time. It is a butterfly carried on the wings of the wind, ephemeral but strong in the feelings that its offer you in full. A romantic air if you want ... The first meeting with Dior Dune was in a perfumery, sitting somewhere on the bottom shelf. It did not attract attention in any way, nor did it demand attention. However, being a fan of Dior creations, I said to try it, to give it a try. And I did well. It was enough to spray once to realize that I am facing an extraordinary creation. The fig, the cedar wood and the sandalwood join hands and make from my point of view the most calm, silent and contemplative perfume. Although it is not a floral creation, its breezes give you the feeling that you inspire an air similar to that of a freshly flowering trees. Once again, it is in no way floral or indolic, its green, airy and slightly sweet. The performance of the perfume is above average, although it does not shout. A masculine fragrance without a doubt, subtle that inspires good taste, confidence and understanding. Worn in a white shirt, it makes you feel light, like a leaf blown by the spring wind. A return to time, which expires the joy of the '90s.

I remember that this fragrance was simply perfect about 9-13 years ago; it had excellent sillage, monstrous longevity, and ridiculous projection! Dune Pour Homme was a one-of-a-kind fragrance because, in addition to the aforementioned qualities, it was versatile, elegant, timeless, and very unique (certainly, the original formulas of Dune Pour Homme and Kouros are the best fragrances that I've smelled in my life). Nothing ever smelled like this masterpiece by Messrs. Olivier Cresp and Jean-Pierre Béthouart; no words are enough to describe the undisputed quality this olfactory elixir once possessed...you would never get tired of this scent; it was that great! Unfortunately, reformulation is the worst perfume archenemy, which shows that manufacturers embrace mass-produced stuff sales, with no care for the customers' satisfaction; the current version of Dune Pour Homme smells good the first few minutes, but then it fades away, giving the impression of being, at best, a sad shadow of its predecessor. My score for the original formula: Fragrance: 100/10 Durability: 100/10 Projection: 100/10 Versatility: 100/10 Quality: 100/10 Average: 100/10

I recently purchased a 2001 vintage bottle of the "Christian Dior" era's final run. Some of the pre 2002 bottles are stupid high on Ebay, but if you're patient, you can find a seller who will cut you a good deal. If you hate fig, the smell of pulling weeds on a humid Summer afternoon, or just anything near the Equator that can put off a musky smell due of the heat, don't bother. Dune is a unique ride for a warmer weather release that's more reserved for an adventurous 40 something dude who's looking to arm himself in a scent cloud of self gratification and confidence, mixed with a little bohemianism. I don't think I could responsibly recommend it as a blind buy without trying it first...especially if you're a guy under 35, with preconceived notions of beach balls and southern California in a bottle. If that's the case, you could be a quite disappointed, although IMO, I think most will really like this under appreciated, late 90's offering by Dior. Dune PH would be the perfect scent to lose your training wheels to in the summer months. That said, don't think "Good Vibrations"; think "A Horse With No Name".

Timeless scent that is often overlooked. Not sure if it’s only me, but I always see Dune next to dated fragrances in the shelves, next to the ones which are not necessarily bad, but just old and maybe not getting much attention from the regular Joe. Dune is a dumb reach, versatility star. Especially if you like figs, but also want something so casual yet so classy - this is the perfect scent. I immediately get fig leafs, the bitter fresh green leaves. Soon after the rich ripe fig fruit, in combination with woods - mainly sandalwood. To me fig is only the main player in the opening, which is perhaps the only downside for me. Within 20 minutes tonka and vanilla comes to play together with a flowery and lemony tone. It’s not sweet at all, just smooth - like the vanilla and citrus combo you find in Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche. It is surprising that no citruses listed here on the site, could be the sage - basil - vanilla giving similar note. Overall a very safe, yet classy scent that can be used in all seasons and ocassions. IG: @talkaboutscents

Mlke nailed it but just adding my 2¢. Definitely has that very same beautiful broomy Dune DNA, which I cherish, while also conjuring up this new beautiful muddy quality. Dune OG is the sands kicked up in the sun whereas Dune Pour Homme is the dank sweaty caverns under the dunes where the wildlife hides. Think Dune as in the books by Frank Herbert, when Liet Kynes lies underground...surely this is what he smelled when he heard the echoes of his father's voice...I could weep, really. Dune-related anything can have that effect on me whether it is perfume or science fiction. Anyway! My nerdiness aside. It's all in the scent. Metallic, earthy, bitter, botanical-skanky, aquatic-green, damp-woody. Reminds me of low tide but definitely no sulphur here. Just the memory called forth by the beautiful scent. Cold summers spent digging a hole on the Atlantic shore with wet sand caking my hair. The dunes are the same color as the green-brown bruises that adorn my knees. Carefree youth spent running, falling...organized chaos. I love that.

"Tu es la vague, moi, l'île nue" / “You are the wave, I, the naked island” (Je t'Aime Moi Non Plus by Gainsbourg/Birkin) Why do I think of this song when smelling Dune for men? Because I've just smelled Dune for women and to me, the two perfectly complement each other. In the feminine version, I sensed a smoky, almost scorched quality, as if the sun-drenched shore itself were being highlighted. In the masculine one, however, there is a freshness that feels like waves rhythmically lapping against that heated sand. Here it's fresh, refreshing even, marine and green at the same time. Suddenly, the image of a beach bordered by a lush tropical forest appears in my mind. And while I did not enjoy the women’s version, I find this one truly beautiful. This sense of complementarity makes me reconsider the feminine fragrance. I now perceive a coherence between the two, something rather brilliant: the masculine scent completing the landscape suggested by the feminine one... very erotic and superbly thought out!

Dune Pour Homme reminds me of the scent given off after taking a really nice bath, complete with your favorite bar of soap, shampoo, and maybe some salts for good measure. It’s also a very quiet and delicate fragrance; it’s not easy to notice, even on first wearing, and it’s not meant to be. While this may sound underwhelming, understand that Dune Pour Homme is not an attention-getter; it’s an attention- keeper , and a really effective one at that. There’s a touch of class and nostalgia when wearing this, and you might catch the hint of rose (as I have) to complement the fig profile that gives off a bit of romanticism too. It’s fresh, it’s clean, it’s really refreshing to put on after washing up or shaving, making it great for daily use, and it’s suitable for formal events as well. No matter the occasion, it’s just so darn cozy to wear. If you need a fresh, aquatic, non-citrus scent to get you through the warmer months, give Dune Pour Homme a shot. It’s an excellent blind buy that won’t disappoint.

I have loved this since it was first created! I lived on a beach at the time and found it was perfect for a hot and humid day yet I discovered that it also comes alive in colder climates. The scent itself is warm, sweet and breezy without being too heavy, salty or woodsy. The mignonette seems more prominent to me than the votes suggest. It has just enough fig to make it unique without being a fig dominant fragrance. Tonka seems almost undetectable to my nose. My vintage bottle was almost empty so I searched for a new one and discovered that this is still being sold on Dior.com in Europe. However I cannot vouch for modern Dior reinterpretations as the newer Dune for women and Fahrenheit are both pale comparisons to what they once were. For those searching, the vintage bottles have Christian Dior at the bottom of the bottle and on the packaging. Newer versions simply say Dior. I found another vintage bottle which still smells like new and the projection and sillage are both excellent.

I'm sorry to say I've only discovered this beauty following its discontinuation. I was led to it by discovery of my fondness for fig leaf via Salvatore Ferragamo Pour Homme - also dc'd I think. To quote Planet of the Apes - "You maniacs! Damn you! Damn you all to hell!" The lovely blend of dry and off-dry botanicals with the florals and woody base (based on my proclivity I must have some tree DNA hidden away in me somewhere) brings a smile to my soul. For this reason I find myself reaching for this to wear to work after a long week, to meet friends for lunch or drinks, or just to read a book at home. It makes the world seem like a better place. I'd say make sure you like fig notes before you make this a blind buy, but as the bottles are becoming harder to find you might want to take the plunge and if it's not for you just sell it on eBay to people like me (wistfully monitoring our dwindling last bottle) in about two years for $150 :)

What a scent this is! Wow! It was pure accident that this scent came to me. So my gf decided to get me Dior Homme as a Christmas gift last year, she went up to the SA at the Dior boutique at a local mall and ask for Dior Homme but got this instead( must have been a new SA and my gf doesn't really care much about fragrances to differentiate what is what). So i got this on Christmas and tore open the wrapping like a little kid but got a surprise as what i saw wasn't Dior Homme but Dior Dune. Whatever right i thought to myself. So i gave it a go and wow such a nice sweet soft creamy scent. The fig notes are the most prominent notes in this fragrance. Got about 6 plus hours of longevity, 7 on clothes with decent projection, about an arms length at best. Overall i like it and was glad i decided to keep this instead of swapping it for Dior Homme which i wanted. I give it an 8.5/10

About 10 years ago, a friend of mine described Dune as being the most wonderful masculine scent of all time. Since that day I was utterly excited to meet it.Last year I purchased a 3.4 oz bottle and it became my signature scent. Dune is an aquatic fragrance. But doesn't carry the classic water effect as many aquatics do, like Polo Blue, Cool Water or Acqua di Giò. There isn't any combination of citruses, fruity notes or mint. It's a dry aquatic. The water effect is given by fig leaf, sage, cassis and a hint of hedione jasmine. Nevertheless, it's not green. In the dry down, a much more aromatic and jasmine-tone trace is kept. Cedar and sandalwood transfer dryness onto that floating-watery aura, creating the arid sensation. Dune's impressions and feelings can be represented by a pilgrim who spent some hours in an oasis, then resumed his walk through a thirsty and arid desert.

Dune has this remarkable fig leaf, cassis leaf and basil opening. The green, herbaceous notes are so strong and rich. After the initial green herbal opening we can smell the arrival of the rose, sage and fig bark. In the mid, Dune starts going more floral and slightly woody. The sandalwood paired with the rose gives a slight creaminess to the scent, giving a good base for the florals to shine. In the dry down we are treated to a nice vanilla, tonka and cedar combination. Dune is a great spring and summer scent. I find it works day or night. It is office friendly and perfect for summer vacations and holidays. Dune should be worn under a linen shirt, while you're trying to decide on either going wine tasting, or taking a scenic drive to a town you've never been to before to try that one diner or deli that your office buddies keep telling you about.

As a fragrance collector with lots of fragrance and i decided to try Dior dune because I have all the others and hadn't heard of this as much. I ordered a sample and I fell on love with it. It smells timeless. It had a sweet opening mixed with a herby woody tone. I loved it so I ordered a new bottle. However when I sprayed the new fragrance I wondered if they were the same fragrance at all. The new bottle had a different opening quite weak and no sweetness and no depth. The dry downs are similar but the new bottle not as potent. I found out that the sample was a from an old bottle and obviously pre reformulation. The new bottles do not have EAU DE TOILETTE written on the front and just DIOR at the bottom not CHRISTIAN DIOR. I would still buy Dior dune and it's a good price point but the vintage bottle is a masterpiece in my opinion.

Dior Dune was the first luxury fragrance I bought in my 20's. I remembered how I entered in Dior fragrance boutique with something about a hundred bucks in a pocket to buy something that would smell well and mature. From the door, my eye caught on this well-designed bottle. I came to the shelf, grabbed the bottle spray on my wrist, and smelled it with closed eyes. In a second, I imagine myself on a shore near Cap Ferret when I was last year. Fine sand dunes with bleached long grass islands along with them. Light and warm salty wind and sound of waves that hit the beach. And feeling of serenity and being lost among this paradise. Since then, I always have Dior Dune in my collection. This fragrance smells outdated now, I know. However, I love Dune for its ability to create a calm and peaceful mood any time I apply it.

Dune Pour Homme is probably one of the least talked fragrances from Dior - to the point that it's even surprising that this still in production (the same is valid for Higher and Higher Energy). I honestly feel like this is an underrated gem, it's inexcusable 90's in its composition. It's fresh and clean, as most male fragrances from the time were, but it's also creamy with a touch of sweetness. The fig note is not loud, but it's noticeable and I feel that it's what differentiates Dune from most of the fragrances from that era. I really love Dune and I think it's one of the best in this 90's style of men's fragrances. How did we go from classy scents like this to monstrosities like Eros and CH Bad Boy? :(

Philosykos by Diptyque gets a lot of hype, especially around the incorporation of fig into a fragrance. This is very much justified. But I actually prefer Dune Pour Homme by Christian Dior. I think Dune doesn’t capture the smell of a fig tree in a photorealistic sense to the same extent, but it does capture the feeling of a fruiting fig tree in summer amazingly well. The green components are not as pungent, or herbal, as a true green scent, and play a supporting role to the sweet woody base. I throughly enjoy dune and it may be one of the few ‘classic’ fragrances from its period that stands the test of time. It’s a warm weather daily fragrance for me. 1997 or 2021. It’s a great, underrated fragrance.

Dry, light, airy... perfect summer fragrance! As others have mentioned, this is like being at the beach on a hot day. It shines in summer weather, bringing to mind blue skies and hot sand. I would expect this do to especially well in the summer, but would not go for it in cooler months as it is just too light to be noticed at any other time of the year. Definitely a must if you want something unique and appealing, it is also completely accessible and inoffensive to others. So perfect for wearing around people who don't like the smell of perfume. It's that kind of scent as well. A brilliant fragrance for hot weather. Well done Dior!

I’ve been wearing it since 2009. Uncountably repurchased. It’s a classy fresh woody scent that gets me compliments wherever I go. It’s green without being herbaceous nor medicinal, it’s fresh yet not citrusy. The tonka bean and vanilla combination is superb, I can feel this scent on my hair even after washing it off. The fig is woody and leafy, not fruity nor juicy. It reminds me of a divine fig soap from a Brazilian house called Phebo. If a niche brand marketed it today it would be perfectly sold as unisex, however the sage and the rose, which is not flowery, subtlety remind of a classic men’s fragrance from the 90s.

It sucks how the Christian Dior era of this release put raised print on the bottle. When I opened my brand new box straight out of the cellophane that's been secured for years, some of the print was already removed, lol. It appears that there's been several other designer releases that has suffered the same fate. One of which is Paco Rabbane Sport. Not a huge deal because it's a manufacturer's defect, but I just wanted to let owners of this particular batch be aware that if your bottle is doing the same thing as mine, It's nothing you've done wrong in terms of handling and storage. Enjoy it for what it is!

Warm coastal air in a bottle! • Very refined. Fresh, green, airy, creamy, but not as potent as the original formulation. • Recent formulations are similar to the old ones, but not identical. Older = more rugged. Newer = cleaner. • Now we get a lighter, fresher, and more herbaceous scent; the basil and the sage seem more prominent. • We used to get something that smelled more salty, more mineral, slightly dry and metallic, and woodier. • The most recent formulation is easier to wear, TBH, but the old one was uniquely good and different. • I'm taking this one to my grave! I'm on my 3rd bottle since 1999!

1997 : At the beach, summer holidays, the weather is still hot but the sun begins to leave. Fresh air of the sea , hot sand under the feet : good times go fast and I have to come back home. Getting back to the car and opening it : it's stiffling inside! Now i'm ready to leave, turning on the radio and driving back home, tanned skin, hair dried from the sea salt, and with that strange yet addicitive hot plastic smell caused by the heat in the car interior. Dune reminds me of those times, an "odour" more than a cologne, giving me nostalgia of those times we will never know again.

A unique summer fragrance that achieves an impressive freshness without the use of aquatics, citrus or soapy notes. Instead you get a huge dose of fig leaves and discreet woody notes that work marvellously on a hot day. Dune may be an aquired taste for some since the fig assault can be a little overwhelming. But the high quality is obvious and the scent stays in your clothes for days. It is light, but it is certainly not thin. You can also enjoy having Dune all to yourself. Nobody knows it and nobody uses it, which only makes it even more attractive. I love it.

Dune pour homme. A girlfriend of mine was wearing the original dune pour femme. I always lovend how it smelled on her. Mesmorising me! When the male version was launched i bought it for myself and liked it. Now in 2021 i bought it again. And it is stil great. I think I love it even more compared to the 90’s. Dune for men has never been as popular as dune for women. I’m glad that Dior still keeps this perfume in their collection. I think under designer fragrences Dior is one of the best. The overall smell is fresh musky green woody.

I find this scent utterly compelling and sexy. For some reason, this conjures up the image of a man - elegant, romantic, and circumspect - who has taken a long promenade in an herb garden. As a woman, I bemoan the fact that I haven't encountered anyone wearing this! There are days I actually spritz this on myself, if only to evoke a subliminal impression of love in the afternoon with just such a man, strolling in that garden, lolling under the boughs of trees, his scent lingering on my skin and in my hair... I'm in love with this.

Dune is one of the fragrances that smells best in the air. Sniffing it closely such as one your skin/clothes, or even the atomizer, gives of a very synthetic soapy vibe. However, smelling the sillage or a scent bubble of Dune is very pleasant and you and others will notice it's a quality made cologne. Nice combo of a clean, soapy and citrus fragrance that would work well with a white shirt or t-shirt in the Spring/Summer months. Do not over apply this one or wear to close to the nose. Trust me this is one of those less is better.

I tested it and the scent itself is lovely: fresh, without being aquatic like Cool Water or Light Blue, slightly sweet, slightly creamy with a touch of old-school soap/shaving cream. I like wearing it at the office. *Edit: I have found that the longevity is actually very good, but the sillage dies after about two hours and it is only really projecting for maybe an hour. However, it can still be smelled directly on the skin for many many hours after application; even after a full day at work.

I love this fragrance. I tried it in the Nineties but it was a little too mature and refined for my tastes back then ( Cool Water, L'eau d'Issey and Clinique Happy were a few of my faves of the time), but now I could happily bathe in this juice. That cassis and fig really is a sensual, sultry, winning masculine combination and very versatile too. I see, like the equally beautiful Dior Homme Parfum this has been discontinued. So best grab this quick while you can. You'll not be disappointed!

It's a wonderful fig scent, very unique masterful blend of notes : fig, leaves, basil,sage, vanilla and cedar wood. Dune is classified as a refreshing, oriental, woody fragrance. This is fresh but without citrus notes! It's very nostalgic and necessary for summer. I love Dior Dune for men and I would recommend it for daytime wear. A special thanks to Mr. Olivier Cresp and Christian Dior to create this Perfume. Highly Recommended. Two Thumbs up. Rating : 9/10

I love this stuff, though I would always describe it as a citrus forward fragrance (I have a 2020 batch, which is full of ingredients with citron.. in their title, though may all be red herrings. There is a change to the mix evident in my 2021 bottle, but this single Fragrantica listing implies that there has never been a real reformulation since release). I must have a terrible nose, as no-one else on the planet seems to detect any citrus at all!

So I just found out that Françoise Caron (the amazing Just Me by Montana) is the sister of Olivier Cresp (the amazing Angel by Mugler) I would love to join a family meeting between the two. Their words will be all the food I need, while I patiently wait to eat some on the amazing Dune. What I get from my 1998 bottle is a crispy fig, aromatic milk, and soapy rose over one of the best sandalwood bases I’ve had the fuck to encounter. *****

Like a lot of the people below, I discovered this fragrance in my early twenties. It was love at first sight. I haven't used it for over a decade but it still holds a special place in my heart. Masculine, green, gentle, sophisticated - a timeless classic. Because of this fragrance I fell in love with the world of perfumes and with fig fragrances to be more particular. Happy to see it hasn't been discontinued after all these years.

Effectivement... Ça sent la feuille de figue. Je viens de le recevoir... Et c est spécial. Pas de roses, pas de fraîcheur ni de promenades sur la plage... Que du figuier !!! Évitez l achat à l aveugle. Mise à jour... Après quelques pulvérisations : en plus, une odeur d alcool ou de solvant, très addictifs !!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Effectivement : une feuille de figue, senteur unique et addictive. Je vire olibere et son citron pour Dune de Dior.

A delightful soapy and floral. It is clean, fresh and at the same time sweet and warm. Its Oceanic and vegetables tonalities are presented on a vanilla base without comparison with another fragrance market. Its enormous longevity and very good sillage are excellent data being a relatively fresh and daytime fragrance. One of my favourite fragrances. Fresh, clean, happy, comfortable, elegant and not much massive!!!

Ugh it’s SO good. One of the best men’s fragrances ever. Only thing I’d change is the projection however it’s so beautiful and inoffensive, I guess it falls under ‘Skin scent’ but what a scent to have. This one you can cover yourself in. It should be WAY more popular than it is. This is no candy sweet amber tobacco patchouli like have been done millions of times. I’ve never smelled anything like this.

Just received this from Myfragrancesamples.com and, oh my, what a scent!!!! This is gorgeous!! This is what a gentleman should smell like. I got the EDP and, if I can find a bottle, I’m getting it. This has moved into my top five fougeres for life, alongside Eau Sauvage Parfum, Pour Monsieur by Chanel, Green Irish Tweed by Creed and Beau de Jour by Tom Ford. An absolute masterpiece.

It was out of stock at the Dior official online shop for a long time, but with the arrival of this holiday season, I was able to safely purchase it from the official website.I very glad happiness🥰 A perfect fragrance pyramid with no unnecessary ingredients. DUNE is something I have a deep fondness for. If I can find a vintage bottle in good condition, I'd like to get it too.

ANOTHER SUPER HIGH QUALITY DIOR PARFUM'S GONE. AT LEAST IN MY COUNTRY IS VERY HARD TO FIND. ONE OF THE MOST FRESH, CLASSY AND SUMMER FRAGRANCES IN PARFUMERY WORLD. WAVES BREAKING IN THE SHORE. Olivier Cresp is a master perfumer and he has demonstrated it with the creation of Dune. Such a classy, gentleman fragrance and quite unique in my opinion. Woody, aromatic fragrance with fig in the background. A little hard to find nowadays and the new batched are quite weak unfortunately. If you can get your hands on a bottle dont hesitate. Absolutely love it!

A complex, sophisticated, sexy classic that absolutely has me hooked! Smells expensive, classy. Warm and sweet, inviting, yet there is something so enduringly sexy and mysterious about it. Quietly powerful, use in moderation. Dries down beautifully. Versatile, timeless, a great 'date night' scent, but can equally be rocked in the daytime.

Divine, magnificent and gorgeous perfum. I bought it 1 week ago and now I am fan of it, the sillage and the longevity is great on my, 12+ hrs. Definitely this is a jewel into the perfums area. Very very recommended, it works in office, dates and clubbing, you will be on the spotlight. I know it is not cheap but it worth's. My rate 10/10.

This is how to smell amazing in the warmer weather without shouting about it. Fresh, green and clean. Gentlemanly and classy. People always compliment me when i wear this. Perfect for a wedding when you don't want to upstage the main event. One of Dior's very best. Only Gentlemen may apply when wearing this.Highly recommended.

A lovely fresh green delicate fragrance. Not many wear it these days so it’s a great option to smell different to everyone else (in a good way!) It’s light and breezy. Needs topping up throughout the day, but that’s ok. Unlike some older fragrances this one seems to have held its price - testament to the quality of this stuff!

Dior Dune pour homme... ...is one of the very few fragrances where the liquid inside smells like what it says on the bottle. Yes, this is a summer sand dune at the beach in a bottle. Soft sandy sunscreen lotion and salty suntanned skin. The biggest disappointment is the fact that it is discontinued. It is a crime.

Managed to get hold of a 100ml tester of this as soon as I read it was being discontinued. I got through a couple of bottles of this many years ago and it is perfect for the warmer weather. On my skin it is fresh, elegant and strong too and the longevity is very good. Stock up now as the prices will escalate.

Beautiful unique fresh smell. Unfortunately, it doesn't last very well for me, only a few hours. Update - it does last much better if you apply more, but it seems to bring out a slightly excessive sweetness, rather than the usual freshness. I suggest reapplying rather than using too much at once.

Dune's magic seems to fill my chest with an unspeakable happiness. We all know how smells evoke memories like no other human sense can, and Dune seems to reconnect me with a younger, primordial naivete and intuitive joy that was to be partially eclipsed by life's later travails and mundacities.

My favorite fragrance from Dior. This is IMHO the perfect masculine fragrance for summer/beach season. That fig note really stand up in this one, but well balanced with the citrus notes. The bottle have the design form of a male body. A true classic in the fragrance industry. Well done Dior.

I get a nice Herbal,green, forest-fruit orchard type vibe (nothing DRY at all)at the top , nice classy Rose -mid ..and a nice woody background with some creamyness(vanilla/tonka) .......Classy, Masculine , mediteranean type vibe for sure ...Spring/Summer and early Fall ,perfect .
