Fahrenheit Cologne opens bright, with what is now a Demachy signature, evidenced by various recent Parfums Christian Dior creations. Here, it is almost effervescent, a modernized version of classic Eaux de Cologne. This citrus opening is coupled with an extremely green violet leaf, the combination similar to crushing bergamot leaves fresh from the tree. This brilliant green effect continues throughout the life, transitioning into the vetiver dry-down. Towards the heart, a few hours in, the Fahrenheit DNA appears in full effect. There is no doubt this is a ‘Fahrenheit’ fragrance, a reinterpretation exalting the fresh, citrus, and green aspects. The dry-down brings a sensuality and musky warmth, where the caraway and cedar appear. The cedar is enveloping. The caraway whispers, but somehow has the greatest impact and gives character. It is something you want to get close to, the smell of warm skin. This is surprisingly very long lasting with the right projection. Body heat and movement really allow this to perform, and sometimes I start to notice it, as if just-sprayed, later in the day - undoubtedly thanks to new technologies. The more I spend time with this, the more resolute I am that this is one of the best offerings out there. Great for summer wear, but this is firmly all-season for smelling shower-fresh. Great for layering with Fahrenheit to intensify the violet leaf and added freshness. WHERE IT FITS IN FAHRENHEIT SPECTRUM: The magic of Fahrenheit is its simultaneous juxtaposition of cool AND warm, not cool THEN warm. Cool AND warm. As mentioned, Fahrenheit Cologne emphasizes the cool more. The honeysuckle would have also made this stellar, so that’s a missed opportunity. However, again this is fantastic in layering with Fahrenheit.

My favorite "Cologne". The citrus mixed with the soft yet strong and spicy peppery vibe combine so well here. And that Fahrenheit DNA that lingers so somewhere far in the background, just finishes it. Amazing. Great summer fragrance. Got me LOADS of compliments from friends, colleagues and new people I've met (all of em were women), which doesn't really surprise me cause its a lady killer for sure. Performance and longevity is low - but that is to be expected from a Cologne. Projects like a BEAST the first 60 minutes. The next hour it becomes a soft skin scent which evaporates at the start of the third hour completely. You could spray this the very last moment before you leave the house. Tip: Spray abit on your clothes (chest and shoulder area). This will make it last at least for 3 hours longer. In order to avoid oily stains on your clothes, make sure there's about 15cm distance between you and the bottle. The scent stays the same from the moment you spray it until the moment its gone. It doesn't really evolve into anything else like for example YSL's L'homme Ultime, that starts out fresh and spicy, and later becomes a soft woody scent after the first hour. Bought a 125ml bottle summer 2017 and for 2018 im going with a 75ml bottle since i have loads of other fresh frags ready for the summer. My overall score for this Cologne in terms of the scent, would be a 9/10 for sure. Maybe its because i dig the (high quality) citrus/peppery vibe with a pinch of the Fahrenheit DNA. Performance and longevity, i would give this a 6/10 on the skin and 7/10 on clothes. Do keep in mind that it is a Cologne and they aren't made to last.

I blind-bought this used from eBay. When it arrived, I put a test spray on my hand and absolutely struggled to detect any smell whatsoever. I was disappointed that I'd bought another fake - even though the bottle looked spot-on with no obvious signs pointing to it being counterfeit. Later on I went in the shower, and as a small amount of water hit my hand where I'd sprayed, it really brought the scent to life. This was 2 hours after spraying, but unfortunately the smell did not survive a shower. Today it was a pretty nice day so I thought I'd re-test it. Applied 7 sprays (at 8:30) and there was definitely a smell present in my vicinity. Around 11:30, a colleague and I went on break, and it seemed to me that the scent had died off. Sitting next to him in his car, I asked "can you smell me?" to which he said "no". Followed by "...oh wait, are you wearing Fahrenheit?" which really surprised me. Later on at 4pm there is still a noticeable smell which has really surprised me. It's now 7pm as I type this and it is still there. So, definitely not a slouch in the performance area! So, how does it smell? Well the Fahrenheit DNA is definitely still here, but toned back a little and brightened by some nice citrus. I really enjoy this - not that Fahrenheit itself is not a versatile fragrance, but Fahrenheit Cologne truly is, with great performance for an EDC. I look forward to wearing this a lot more now as the warmer weather is with us (and Fahrenheit EDT when the dreary days rear their head)

As a life long Fahrenheit junkie I somehow missed this in stores. I’ve worn Fahrenheit since the OG was released but I always passed this one over thinking it was just weaker cologne version. I have the Fahrenheit Aqua which is nice but it never really became one that I reach for. After reading the reviews here I decided to order Cologne from eBay. My first sniff had me hooked and more than satisfied with the purchase. It has that same familiar grab that I love without smelling so floral that it becomes cloying after a few hours like Aqua does for me. I recently sprayed Aqua on my clean sheets to try to use it up but 5 days later it’s all I can smell when I walk in my room, and it’s borderline nauseating at times. Cologne smells like what I’d think an EDC concentration of OG Fahrenheit would be. A little less pungent, less in your face, but it is definitely a close cousin of Fahrenheit. I love this version! This is one I could bathe in and still not be labeled as offensive or “old school”. It is a very cold winter morning here and the crispy air is complementing this to perfection. I look forward to the arrival of spring and summer for this one but to me this is a year round no brainer. Highly recommend ordering it while you can.
