Fahrenheit Cologne is a modern and refreshing reinterpretation of the classic Fahrenheit from 1988. Classified as a spicy woody fragrance for men, this flanker offers a lighter and more versatile approach, without losing the bold identity of the line. Olfactory Development The opening is vibrant and sunny, with a citrus trio that delivers immediate freshness — mandarin and spicy lemon stand out naturally, while bergamot adds a more elegant touch. Soon after, violet appears, a trademark of the Fahrenheit line, but here softened and accompanied by a clean and slightly earthy patchouli, creating a green and modern heart. At the base, the perfume takes on a dry but sophisticated woody profile, with emphasis on vetiver and cedar, which provide structure. Nutmeg and caraway add a discreet but interesting spice that sets it apart from other generic citrus fragrances. Performance Standardness: Moderate (6 to 7 hours) Projection: Moderate in the first 2 hours Sillage: Elegant, without being invasive Despite being an Eau de Cologne, the performance is surprising for the category. It is not a loud perfume, but it has a refined and constant presence, ideal for those seeking discretion with sophistication. Occasions of Use Fahrenheit Cologne is extremely versatile. Ideal for: Work environments Daytime events Hot days or mid-season Casual meetings or outdoor lunches It combines the citrus vibe with the elegant woody base, making it a wild card in the olfactory wardrobe of men who value fresh perfumes with personality. Final Score: 8.8/10 Fahrenheit Cologne is a smart and refined update of the Fahrenheit DNA, focusing on freshness without giving up the elegance and unmistakable signature of the line. A perfume for contemporary men who want to stand out with discretion, sophistication and authentic freshness.

Fahrenheit Cologne opens bright, with what is now a Demachy signature, evidenced by various recent Parfums Christian Dior creations. Here, it is almost effervescent, a modernized version of classic Eaux de Cologne. This citrus opening is coupled with an extremely green violet leaf, the combination similar to crushing bergamot leaves fresh from the tree. This brilliant green effect continues throughout the life, transitioning into the vetiver dry-down. Towards the heart, a few hours in, the Fahrenheit DNA appears in full effect. There is no doubt this is a ‘Fahrenheit’ fragrance, a reinterpretation exalting the fresh, citrus, and green aspects. The dry-down brings a sensuality and musky warmth, where the caraway and cedar appear. The cedar is enveloping. The caraway whispers, but somehow has the greatest impact and gives character. It is something you want to get close to, the smell of warm skin. This is surprisingly very long lasting with the right projection. Body heat and movement really allow this to perform, and sometimes I start to notice it, as if just-sprayed, later in the day - undoubtedly thanks to new technologies. The more I spend time with this, the more resolute I am that this is one of the best offerings out there. Great for summer wear, but this is firmly all-season for smelling shower-fresh. Great for layering with Fahrenheit to intensify the violet leaf and added freshness. WHERE IT FITS IN FAHRENHEIT SPECTRUM: The magic of Fahrenheit is its simultaneous juxtaposition of cool AND warm, not cool THEN warm. Cool AND warm. As mentioned, Fahrenheit Cologne emphasizes the cool more. The honeysuckle would have also made this stellar, so that’s a missed opportunity. However, again this is fantastic in layering with Fahrenheit.

My favorite "Cologne". The citrus mixed with the soft yet strong and spicy peppery vibe combine so well here. And that Fahrenheit DNA that lingers so somewhere far in the background, just finishes it. Amazing. Great summer fragrance. Got me LOADS of compliments from friends, colleagues and new people I've met (all of em were women), which doesn't really surprise me cause its a lady killer for sure. Performance and longevity is low - but that is to be expected from a Cologne. Projects like a BEAST the first 60 minutes. The next hour it becomes a soft skin scent which evaporates at the start of the third hour completely. You could spray this the very last moment before you leave the house. Tip: Spray abit on your clothes (chest and shoulder area). This will make it last at least for 3 hours longer. In order to avoid oily stains on your clothes, make sure there's about 15cm distance between you and the bottle. The scent stays the same from the moment you spray it until the moment its gone. It doesn't really evolve into anything else like for example YSL's L'homme Ultime, that starts out fresh and spicy, and later becomes a soft woody scent after the first hour. Bought a 125ml bottle summer 2017 and for 2018 im going with a 75ml bottle since i have loads of other fresh frags ready for the summer. My overall score for this Cologne in terms of the scent, would be a 9/10 for sure. Maybe its because i dig the (high quality) citrus/peppery vibe with a pinch of the Fahrenheit DNA. Performance and longevity, i would give this a 6/10 on the skin and 7/10 on clothes. Do keep in mind that it is a Cologne and they aren't made to last.

I blind-bought this used from eBay. When it arrived, I put a test spray on my hand and absolutely struggled to detect any smell whatsoever. I was disappointed that I'd bought another fake - even though the bottle looked spot-on with no obvious signs pointing to it being counterfeit. Later on I went in the shower, and as a small amount of water hit my hand where I'd sprayed, it really brought the scent to life. This was 2 hours after spraying, but unfortunately the smell did not survive a shower. Today it was a pretty nice day so I thought I'd re-test it. Applied 7 sprays (at 8:30) and there was definitely a smell present in my vicinity. Around 11:30, a colleague and I went on break, and it seemed to me that the scent had died off. Sitting next to him in his car, I asked "can you smell me?" to which he said "no". Followed by "...oh wait, are you wearing Fahrenheit?" which really surprised me. Later on at 4pm there is still a noticeable smell which has really surprised me. It's now 7pm as I type this and it is still there. So, definitely not a slouch in the performance area! So, how does it smell? Well the Fahrenheit DNA is definitely still here, but toned back a little and brightened by some nice citrus. I really enjoy this - not that Fahrenheit itself is not a versatile fragrance, but Fahrenheit Cologne truly is, with great performance for an EDC. I look forward to wearing this a lot more now as the warmer weather is with us (and Fahrenheit EDT when the dreary days rear their head)

As a life long Fahrenheit junkie I somehow missed this in stores. I’ve worn Fahrenheit since the OG was released but I always passed this one over thinking it was just weaker cologne version. I have the Fahrenheit Aqua which is nice but it never really became one that I reach for. After reading the reviews here I decided to order Cologne from eBay. My first sniff had me hooked and more than satisfied with the purchase. It has that same familiar grab that I love without smelling so floral that it becomes cloying after a few hours like Aqua does for me. I recently sprayed Aqua on my clean sheets to try to use it up but 5 days later it’s all I can smell when I walk in my room, and it’s borderline nauseating at times. Cologne smells like what I’d think an EDC concentration of OG Fahrenheit would be. A little less pungent, less in your face, but it is definitely a close cousin of Fahrenheit. I love this version! This is one I could bathe in and still not be labeled as offensive or “old school”. It is a very cold winter morning here and the crispy air is complementing this to perfection. I look forward to the arrival of spring and summer for this one but to me this is a year round no brainer. Highly recommend ordering it while you can.

To some of the reviews down below: After the initial blast of in your face citrus dies down, this scent is objectively fantastic. You cannot possibly in good conscience say it's awful or smells bad. It smells amazing and 99% of people in the real world would think the same. You can compare it to the original and say it doesn't really smell like it and therefore it's a bad Fahrenheit, but in no way does that make the fragrance bad on it's own. Ultra bright and refreshing, Dior quality, perfect for the summer and heat. The drydown gets slightly too round and loses a bit of it's sharp citrus zing off the top, but it still smells great. Kinda reminds me of a Dior Homme Cologne with the white musk swapped out for violet leaf. It's a complete banger that you can get for relatively cheap nowadays. Pick it up if you're after a high quality summer scent, you won't regret it.

It was time for me to get a new bottle of Fahrenheit & it just so happened to be around Christmas so I put it on my list. I wrote Fahrenheit Cologne. As in "Men's fragrance" My mother in law bought this for me because she read it literally. When I unwrapped it everything looked normal & I was excited. When I sprayed it a few days later I recoiled at first smell, it was STRONG. Just weird like a bootleg version of Fahrenheit. My MIL is a class act (NOTHING wrong with buying from discounters, just not her M.O) so I knew she wouldn't have picked up some cheap knockoff so I gave it a few more tries. This stuff is like uncut heroin. To me it has all the Fahrenheit DNA but it just commands your attention like an uncut drug. For me I love it, it's like Fahrenheit EDT on steroids. It doesn't smell any more or less like a summer version to me.

This is such an underrated scent, a fresh, modern hidden gem and such a refined, inobtrusive fragrance. I guess it‘s either because people sprayed it on and dismissed it because of the admittedly nicely done yet overboarding citrus / sweet opening or they didn‘t smell much because of covid but it‘s an absolute shame that it‘s gone. The drydown is superb and it’s such a pleasant smell: smells like Fahrenheit without smelling like Fahrenheit. A very modern, subtle, aquatic, masculine floral radiaton. Projection is ok if you sweat / move and if‘s hot but can be worn in any weather. People say it has no edge and is made to please everyone but that‘s exactly why it is so good. I can‘t believe this was discontinued, so glad I stocked up on this.

  • em inglês

Beautiful, fresher and citrus-forward version of Fahrenheit. Still retains the gasoline note that made Fahrenheit so famous, but dials it down a bit and adds some really amazing citrus notes that make this much fresher and viable for use in high heat seasons. Great performance, one of the best I have experienced for citrus based fragrances. Lasts all day, and multiple days on fabrics. If you love Fahrenheit and want an option for the summer this is a must have. Sadly, as it seems to be a trend with great fragrances, they are not good sellers and are discontinued after a while. Still, this can be found for reasonable prices as its not too old.

  • em inglês

Another masterpiece by Dior is lunched. Farenheit Cologne is a masculine perfume with great longevity and projection. It is a Fresh and Citrus base perfume with Woody and Flowery accords. I also can Smell some spicy notes too. The main notes are Violet, Bergamot, Orange and Lemon which are mixed with Patchouli and Vetiver. With no doubt It is one of the best perfumes for Summer and Spring. A magnificent fragrance for daily usage and leisure activities. Sillage : 8/10 Longevity: 7/10

I just bought the 1A01 batch (2021) and like others before me have stated: Fahrenheit cologne is exacly that.. a cologne version of Fahrenheit for spring and summer use. To me, it smell fresh and luxurious! The main players here are the citruses, but you'll still get some nutmeg and a little violet burried deep within. You can barely make out it's a Fahrenheit flanker. For a cologne type fragrance this has good performance! A winner in my book!

  • em inglês

I love Fahrenheit and at first when I got this one a year ago I really liked it but recently I have realized I really love it, it’s like if there was a Fahrenheit shaving cream in one of those Gillette aerosol shaving foam cans, this would be how that would smell. In my head it seems like if you took Fahrenheit and replaced the iso e super/dusty cedar and leather base with a kind of fresh light but creamy accord it would be this

  • em inglês

Starts of very citrusy and powdry, with the fahrenheith dna in the background. I tested it on my hand and took it for a walk around the mall for a chance to make it settle down a bit, i got whiffs of it now and then, it smells quite nice in my opinion, especially the drydown. So what else could i do i bought i right away, and i am not disappointed at all.

  • em inglês

I don't care if Fahrenheit is underrated, it just means more for us! This dna is truly a work of excellent craftsmanship. This cologne is a winner for sure! has the old dna, but gives it a slight airiness and freshness (not too fresh) that makes it all the more likeable as it's older brother. A fantastic flanker that actually stays true to the DNA. 10/10

  • em inglês

I have tried this on the test strip a bunch of times and really thought it was great. Today I sprayed it on my wrist in the store to test it on my skin. I have to say I am a bit disappointed with the way it develops. It's pretty generic as it settles in and kind of smells like fancy hand soap or something. I think I will pass.

  • em inglês

Perfect for a day like today. I really enjoy this scent and how it develop I am not the best one to describe a fragrance. I am more a user. The thing is you will get noticed when you have this on you. I just went to a walk and a girl who passed by ask me for the name. ( first time for everything) Give this one a try. 8/10

  • em inglês

This stuff is great I love everything in the fahrenheit line except didn’t really like absolute. This one is light but still lush and just so refined it’s mind numbing. If u want something a little bit less refined I always considered Ermenegildo Zegna Uomo to be like a cologne-y version of a fahrenheit type fragrance

  • em inglês

If you think the OG is to strong with the leather and gasoline, try this one. It’s not a watered down version of the OG, imo. Instead, here you have a more modern take on Fahrenheit edt. A lot of citrus and violet but the OG is still there, all the way. I love this one!!

No disappointment at all, I think this a great flanker from this legendary fragrance, it gives you what it should be given in a "Cologne" version, subtle but with a great presence. First time wearing it and I am really pleased with it.

  • em inglês

Overall, the Same Original DNA, 1st spray gets more fresh as it's "Cologne" obviously. Longevity: 4 - 6 hours Sillage: 1st 2 hours is heavy, then after, it gets moderate. If you're a Fahrenheit fan, go for it.

  • em inglês

I really feel this is better than aqua . Brighter . And goes places in the dry down . Really loved aqua , but the dry down was a murky nothingness . One of the most underrated Dior flankers . For me .

  • em inglês

I just want to add this to my previous review. This is the only fragrance that I have bought a backup bottle of, EVER. And I have owned quite a few over the years:)

  • em inglês

The original without the gasoline smell, more citrus with the OG DNA. For a cologne formulation this lasts long and projects well. Very underated.

  • em inglês

Freshened up version of the original. Works great in the day time. I like to wear it to the office. This stuff is so nice.

  • em inglês

This is exactly as you'd expect. A lighter fresher version of the original, with some citrus...great summer cologne

  • em inglês

Great scent. Good alternative for Fahrenheit Aqua. Toned down original + citrus. Perfect summer fragrance.

  • em inglês

The original without the rubber, last long for a summer scent, amazing.

Aqua vs cologne: Aqua is minty and green, a bit seaweed-esque vibe, and less noticeable leather/gasoline. Unique and complex but reminds me a bit of cahsee, with citrus and mint over a sweet base. Cologne is simpler, but keeps that edge of the original, yet watered down. A great thing for those looking for a true summery version of the OG. I like it better bc I find the original too mature, despite loving the smell at times. This is like a better Ferrari uomo which is smoothed out and less nutmeg-y. Honestly surprised that Aqua is so loved, as it’s unique but still smells very designer, and is further from the original while still being less likable to non-fragrance enthusiasts (imho). Cologne is my preference, and it does a good job at what it’s supposed to. Summery, vibrant, Fahrenheit. Starts off with a nice citrus blast that lasts for a bit. I mainly get bergamot with a litte lemon. Drys down to a faint weaker take on the Fahrenheit DNA. As someome here noted, it's Fahrenheit without the Fahrenheit, as in no gasoline vibe. The Violet to me goes a little watery. There's also something every so slightly metallic. You can still clearly tell this is Fahrenheit but just stripped down and freshened up. I never tired Fahrenheit Aqua or the summer flankers but apparently this was the replacement for those. Overall I like it. Looking forward to wearing it this spring and summer. So unfortunate Dior killed off most of this line. Funny how when I think of Dior I think of Dior Homme, Fahrenheit and Eau Sauvage. But nowadays all the younger generation knows is Sauvage because of what Dior did. Hopefully one day Dior resurrects this line. They don't have to bring anything specific back. Just do other flankers or just re-bottle old stuff under a different name while slightly tweaking it. True Dior fans will buy it

Francois Demachy is a legend in the Dior fragrance creations. He nailed it with the 'Fahrenheit' -cologne edition. I wore this during my entire summer stay at Oahu island, Hawaii. To describe it; it is a masculine tropical-flower aura. A perfect cologne for warmer nights on the beach and Mai Tai drinks under the hot sun. 'Fahrenheit Cologne' stays for the most part loyal to the mid-notes during its peak performance; violet and patchouli with a scrap of nutmeg. However, the Sicilian mandarin keeps things zesty and sour. A definite recommendation for beach and tropical wear; it is made to compliment humid weather and will serve you through the evening with its vetiver-cedar base notes.

  • em inglês

This one has pretty much flew under the radar for years,I'm assuming because when folks think of warm weather scents from Dior that Dior Homme Cologne is number 1. This is solid also as it is pretty much a 3 season scent in the same vein that Dior Homme is. It's has some citrus,a lot of violet and a spicy kick. Performance wise I would say is between 7-10 hours which is superb while sillage is noticeable for at least 4 hours. As mentioned before,it has the Fahrenheit DNA but has a modern touch.

  • em inglês

Scent only : 8.5/10 performance : ridiculously weak :1.5/10 stick to the og even though it's also weak but not as weak as this one here. Still petro but toned down, this one is closer to the og than to the aqua version. I absolutely don't recomand it because of the terrible performance. I wish it had the aqua performance. Yeah i know it's a cologne concentration but still... All in all it's a summery version of the og and yeah i don't mind this one being discontinued

  • em inglês

Fahrenheit Cologne pretty much smells like the original Fahrenheit with citrus notes replacing the 'gasoline' notes. If the original Fahrenheit smells too dated for you, you could try this one out. It smells like a more complex Dior Homme Cologne. A warm summer day/white tee kind of fragrance. If you're looking for a hidden summer gem to stand out from the crowd, this one could be just for you.

  • em inglês

This is a subdued version of Fahrenheit in all respects. It is still great as it is unmistakably Fahrenheit retaining the original 'DNA'. Might be a better choice in extreme heat (30 degrees +). Nothing more to say except that it is cheaper, comes in a larger volume (125ml) and therefore no inhibition in pumping the he*l out of this thing in excess. Scent: 8 Sillage: 7 Longevity: 7

  • em inglês

This and Dunhill Fresh are 90% similar. I had great luck with this blind buy. I get fresh citrus n violet. I got 7 hours total wear time before it faded to nothing. I think this would have sold better with a different name as most younger folks aren’t buying Fahrenheit but I could be wrong. If you want to stand out in the summer give this a try if you can find it.

  • em inglês

I actually like this one. The opening reminds me of Terre d'Hermes ETF. Burst of quality citruses in the opening then after about two hours it's like a much toned down Fahrenheit, which I actually like.

  • em inglês

A sweet and powdery lighter version of the original, nice for hot summer's days, it lasts very well, but to my nose it doesn't project an awful lot. Super fresh, enjoyable fragrance.

  • em inglês

Dior must swallow their pride and discontinue this and bring back Aqua.

  • em inglês

Aqua Fahrenheit was better. Shame they replaced it with this version.

  • em inglês

7/10.. nothing special I prefer aqua..

  • em inglês

Violet-ey take on a summer cologne. I enjoyed this quite a bit. Fresh, bright, invigorating. Best used at the start of the day. A jolt of energy and confidence. This could be a great one for fans of the line. Unfortunately, Fahrenheit Colonge falls short for me. Creed Himalaya or GIT already fill the void that this would otherwise fit. The performance I get from it doesn’t lend itself to my 8-9 hour work days either. I try my best to avoid being a “performance bro” about fragrance, but I do believe the truth is that performance does add value to fragrance- while not being the most important factor. Another positive: Though it is discontinued, this scent isn’t terribly hard to find around that 100 dollar mark. This is one that immediately got lost in my collection, and ended up leaving me with a question: Though we love to adulate discontinued designers, maybe these scents are still just designer scents at the end of the day. Scents made with utility and mass-appeal as the first priority. The previous statement isn’t 100% true in every circumstance. It is subjective. Unfortunately, it is true in this case, for me. It would never beat out anything in my current rotation. This one could fit a great niche for you! Just not for me. Looking at this in a more objective light, this is a 6 out of 10.

  • em inglês

I never reviewed this one, despite owning it for years, because frankly, there isn't much to say. One of the most generic sweet citrus summer freshie out there - for what it wants to do, it does it well, but what it wants to do is not much to begin with. The biggest crime for me is that the connection to the original DNA is paper thin at best. If this was in a different bottle, nobody would suspect there is one to begin with. The original could be described as a staple masculine scent, and this one is anything but - too sweet and soft, wouldn't be out of place in the collection of a teenage girl. Performance is ephemeral. but that's not a surprise for the scent profile, especially from a big designer house - you might need to refresh this every 2-3 hours if planning to wear it as your SOTD. Overall would not recommend - i was thinking about gifting the bottle away to one of my friends, but that's only when i am opening my fragrance cabinet to grab something else and happen to glance at its direction, the moment i close the door it completely leaves my mind. Have to say that i at least got it for very cheap - something DIOR fragrances are not known for, even at discounters.

  • em inglês

Good stuff; solid. It's like a... refreshing Fahrenheit, and it has an almost salty smell to it in the opening. A citrusy aspect, but it's not too piercing or sharp. A bit later, you know what this reminds me of? Fahrenheit mixed with Aqva Amara. I thought of mandarin. I went to Fragrantica to see if mandarin is listed, and sure enough..! Considering I love Fahrenheit... and considering I live in Texas... this might be a real winner.

  • em inglês

The opening is OK and it's downhill from there. Like most flankers, it's a spin off of the original DNA replacing an ingredient or two of what made it so special, for the purpose of making the scent more or less fresh, leathery, whatever. Abomination. Seriously though this is only recommended to huge fans of the original.

  • em inglês

Crystal clear and very refreshing. It bears little resemblance to the original Fahrenheit. The drydown bothers me! Unfortunately, the scent becomes pungent and too soapy. For me no alternative to Fahrenheit and Fahrenheit Le Parfum.

  • em inglês

The first time I smelled it, I thought it smelled like pizza seasoning. Now, 2 years later, I still hold that opinion.

  • em inglês

Very good, because it presents the scent in an airy context and also makes it a successful eau de toilette.

  • em inglês

The house of Dior continues to deal with it's heritage in a bad way. Who needs this diluted and pale copy of the original Fahrenheit for it's full price? Especially if Aqua Fahrenheit is on the same shelf. Ridiculous scent which doesn't respect at all the initial concept of Fahrenheit as the one of a bold and powerful fragrance for a modern man. This synergy of strength and romanticism so significant for original creation is diminished in this watery version of Fahrenheit. It's like a dingy black and white photo of the bright sunny day - it shows the same landscape, but gives you no idea of atmosphere, mood and color of the depicted subject.

  • em inglês

If you have smelled Aqua Fahrenheit, this is similar. Albeit a neutered version of it. Subtract the leather and mint, add extra fresh citrus and a brighter violet. This would be perfect for the later months of Spring. I found the longevity, projection, and silage of Fahrenheit Cologne to be weaker than Aqua, the original, and the parfum version.
