J'adore Parfum d'Eau

I went to the Macy's before Christmas to buy this as a gift for a girl friend who wanted it and then tested it on a blotter and ended up loving it enough to buy it for me too. I love the bottle in the pearl white color. For me personally this is much better than J'adore (as in just J'adore) which continue to sell at all Macy's fragrance department stores. As you spray it, it comes off oddly enough not like a typical perfume but a lotion. Smells like a very expensive, high quality luxury hand and body cream. Milky and smooth, buttery, sweet but mostly clean. The white flowers are well-blended and not heavy at all, rather soft but still very much a fragrant example of what they are supposed to smell like. The magnolia, the jasmine, possibly an unlisted orange blossom. You have to be into white floral scents in order to like this. The jasmine has little green touches here and there enhanced with neroli and citrus but this is not a big orange fruity perfume. It's strictly white floral with creamy magnolia and jasmine. Both these flowers are big enough on their own but together they really deliver a very pleasant floral smoothie type of thing. This is so delicious. Some have said it reminds them of Dove soap (the classic white one) and or Nivea cream. To me it's neither. It's just like some divine white hand and body lotion that I wish was real! Can't they make a body lotion out of this one? When you wear this on your skin, it's refreshing, calming, soapy and bathy, like having taken a bath in milk and white flowers. It's better on skin than in the air. I like to put this on as I am drying after a shower. The clean white flowers smell so good. Downside is the poor longevity. On me less than 2 hours. The scent is also linear and very simple without much character or personality. It's so much like a skin product that smells floral, only slightly herbal and milky smooth, creamy and soft. Feminine but possibly unisex for the guy who likes clean bathy soapy aromas. The scent lingers for a while to the point where I am not picking up on any base notes. There has to be more going on in this formula and has got to have unlisted notes we are not being told about. Maybe there's white musk. Maybe there is amber. But definitely no wood or green notes other than the little green there is in jasmine leaf and or orange blossom along with neroli. But it's color is definitely white. It's probably a little too lactonic and 'body cream' for a wedding day scent. It is very nice if you like soapy fragrances, white florals, creamy lotion scents. Good for any time of the year but best in spring and summer.

If Dior is reading: Sell this in attar oil form. You took Arabic oud, put it in your scents and are now selling it. This is one of the best DIOR DNA's I've ever smelled. It's linear jenneh (heaven). I remember being a teen in the late 90s, I forever mourn the loss of my precious CD Poison OG formula. Now, she's a shadow of her former self. I still recall the launch of the original J'adore. I purchased a giant bottle and I don't think I even used half. I moved to a warmer climate, it's tropical weather and I find white florals far too powdery. Fortunately, this isn't a powdery scent AT ALL. This is that scent you can wear to the gym, MD office, it's intimate and luxurious. Inoffensive, yet, the ultimate form of competency. I adore the green notes dancing with the neroli and jasmine. This should have a matching lotion. I understand the non alcoholic route but this gorgeous DNA would work wonders in an 3ttar oil for those of us willing to pay for it. If you're living in a tropical climate, work out, sweat, active? This is the scent to get one motivated. I can tell there's some synthetic notes in here as it's not completely photorealistic & in that dry down the signature Dior DNA which for me = pure comfort and familiarity. Feminine, class, sophistication, a modern day take on what I believe Renaissance royals would have worn. The bottle is beautiful w/o any cheesy gimmicks. Since Dior has some of their flowers sourced from one grower with an exclusive contract, no one can replicate this scent b/c specific flowers are sourced right out of Grasse. Fr. Some of us are willing to pay for this non powdery beauty in pure oil form. This has now become my new favorite white floral frag despite I feel it's over priced diluted with water & longevity. Attar + lotion would fix this.💓💓

I got this fragrance yesterday, and I must say I’m quite impressed by it. Like some have already said, it’s a very “modern” inspired version of J’Adore, gently hinting at the OG J’Adore, but with a something-something (I’m looking at you, magnolia) driving it somewhere else. It lacks the structure of alcohol-based perfumes as far as development of the scent; it’s quite linear. What you smell is what you’ll get throughout its wear. To me, it’s much like a body mist. Very discreet, non-offensive, non-complex, “grab-and-go” kind of scent. Performance is actually decent for a non-alcohol perfume: I get about 4-5 hours longevity, with somewhat “loud” (again, not alcohol-based perfume loud) projection for the first 30-minutes, then sitting close to skin for the next lasting period. I do get whiffs of it everyone so often, but it’s non-offensive and quite discreet. Performs like a body range lotion or body milk, and lasting power like that of a BBW cream. I mainly use it after a shower to freshen up, and then layer my other perfumes on top. Seems to give it some depth and a hint of “different” to my combos. I’m really enjoying this one so far. The sprayer is pressurized and will distribute nicely. I gently shake the bottle before use to try and not have white blobs of scented water dispersed. The liquid itself is not transparent (it’s actually white), so it feels like they’ve watered down the body milk and made it into “perfume”. Not sure if this is really necessary; but it’s a good choice for people who can’t use alcohol-based fragrances. It definitely performs so much better than Chanel No.1 Rouge; it actually feels like a response to this Chanel mist. To each their own... try it yourself and see how it goes!

I was introduced to this flanker while intending to purchase the original J’adore EDP at my local department store. I did not expect to like d'Eau as much as I did. It’s a softer, creamier and slightly more aquatic version of the original EDP that I love. The small changes tone down some of the ‘screechier’ notes in the original, making it slightly more modern and youthful (in my opinion). As many people mentioned below, it smells like the ultimate “out of the shower” scent. Like clean, fresh skin on a woman. The only caveat about this flanker is its longevity; it is certainly not as long-lasting as the original. I tried a spray of each version on my wrists and on my skin d’Eau only lasted a couple hours, whereas the original was still going strong 3+ hours in. This might not be entirely a bad thing though; the softer sillage of d’Eau makes it much more wearable for the office and other places where people might be sensitive to scents. I should also add that my boyfriend much preferred d’Eau over the two. He said it was less “thick” (god bless him for his lack of perfume terminology!). The design of the bottle is also gorgeous. I did notice that the spray on this one comes out like a fine mist, which I also really enjoyed. Overall I find this to be a very well-done flanker in the J’adore line, which will hopefully help bring on a whole new generation to appreciate this iconic perfume. I am also now leaning more heavily on purchasing this one over the original :) Edit: After trying this one a few times (via my sample spray), I am ultimately really disappointed with the longevity, and decided that I won't be purchasing. If it was longer lasting, I would definitely have purchased this.

When you first spray this,you feel underwhelmed,because you just think:Nivea body cream (the classic one). Then as the perfume notes progress (and yes you have stages),you can detect the Jasmine and that J’Adore dna somewhere in the background and it becomes dryer and thus more soapy-powdery than the initial very creamy notes you first get. The spray nozzle is perfect emits a beautiful fine spray mist that suits the style,the color and the type of this fragrance. Cleaness and finesse. Is it groundbreaking and original and does it’s price tag justifies what you get in return?No.Not because it isn’t a lovely perfume,but simply because it is done before,as it is extremely similar to Azzaro twin for women (the white one).Both project and last long,they are almost identical,and Azzaro twin is extremely affordable compared to the dior. Also,the Azzaro spray nozzle is amazing and sprays similarly as the Dior does. This perfume projects and lasts long enough,and stays on clothes too.I don’t get the reviews saying it doesn’t.Ι can feel it constantly emitting around me.It’s performance is very very good,no complains there. Perhaps some reviewers got fake ones?Who knows... I feel that depending on the aspect you go for ,you will have to choose the appropriate season/climate to get the best of it.If you want the lotiony-creaminess then choose humid or rainy weather (you will get some green notes as it projects too).If you prefer its drier more powdery aspect,then go for dry colder weather.I prefer the latter. 😌

This one. This is the one. One sniff at Sephora and it was a done deal forever for me. I walked out of there with my new signature scent and I love it just as much today. It never fails to lift my mood and calm me down and I always feel very clean wearing it. White florals, laundry and breezy air, thick creamy lotion, light and clean, clean, clean. The creaminess stops it from being too heavy on the white florals. It -could- have been a headache-inducing perfume but it is far from it. It's almost like a nivea cream, but also not. My mother said it had something sharp or slightly screechy in it that she didn't like, but I don't agree at all. To me this one is just soft, creamy and again, clean. I would definitely say this is a semi-safe blind buy if you're into clean frags, but I would try it out before buying still just because of the price point. It does not smell like detergent at all so don't expect it to smell like Byredo Blanche or Zarkoperfume The Muse, Clean fresh laundry etc. The only real downside is the longevity. It lasts about 2-3 hours on me, maybe 4-5 if I bathe in it, and that's it. I don't really mind bringing it with me to top up during the day, but it's something to keep in mind before buying. Scent: Love forever/10 Sillage: 8/10 Longevity: 3/10 Price: 6/10 Overall: still 9/10

I love this version actually. It's a beautiful creamy scent that somehow feels "white" and "clean" but avoids smelling milky or powdery. I just get beautiful flowers and when I wear it I feel very "feminine" and pretty. I'm 53 years young but it makes me feel more youthful somehow, without smelling juvenile or like a fruity teenager. It's innocent. It is definitely performing better in the warmer weather though, but I wonder if that's because my skin is more moisturized by slathering sunscreen on all the time. I did find that a little Vaseline in the elbows helped a great deal too. The regular J'adore is only a strong like for me, because it can just get really heady and overwhelming to those around me, and as a nurse I don't think I could wear that one to work safely, but this one I can. With 4 sprays on my skin: Scent: 8/10 for Spring & Summer Sillage: mild to moderate, maybe 3 feet or slightly longer than arm's length Longevity: 3 hours until I quit noticing it but I've had a compliment after about 5 hours, so it must still project enough for others to pick it up. (In a relatively scent-free medical office setting, though.)

Ughhhh this perfume is just gorgeous! This is the epitome of a sophisticated scent. The magnolia and Jasmine sparkle in this fragrance, even becoming slightly sweet. There is a lotion/plasticy undertone that is super unique ( I mean this in the best way possible! It just works) This smells like you have just bathed yourself in the most expensive flower water bath and then put a light lotion on. Sooo sooo effortless, yet unforgettable. I love the way it mists when you spray it; this adds to the experience of the scent...like a spa fragrant treatment everytime you use it. I get light green notes blended in very well with those florals. When I first used this fragrance, I oversprayed because many people were saying it is a very light scent...well I have to disagree because I definitely smelled it strongly for a while. This does last and it is stronger than expected even though the fragrance itself has this transparent veiled beauty to it. This is very signature worthy. I don't want to be without this in my collection.

THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES OF ALL TIME (i sorta wanna gatekeep it). smells like you just stepped right out of the bath of a luxurious spa. if you tend to dislike florals because they’re too “grandma-like”, i think this is a good option for spring/summer because to me this is such a light clean soapy scent & i’m really not getting heavy florals from it at all.. for how subtle it is, i’m actually shocked by the longevity of this perfume. i sprayed it over 12 hours ago before work & i can still smell it clear as day ON MY SKIN not even just my clothes the dry down is much different on my skin & clothes tho, it seems to smell sweeter & maybe a bit more floraly on my clothes whereas my skin it smells like luxurious soap. i still love it either way i’ve never smelled the og j’adore, honestly because someone told me i wouldn’t like it & i don’t think i’ll ever really feel the need to cus there’s NO WAY it’s better than this gem 🤍

My bottle arrived today and I am in absolute love! This is definitely a clean smelling fragrance. Very much shampooy vibes in the best way possible. I feel like I have taken a luxurious bath in the garden of Eden with white pedals floating in milky water with big beautiful blooming flowers all around me! (The juice in the bottle is actually milky white) I’ve come to realize I love florals! Lol ❤️ You just smell like bright clean elegance while wearing this beauty. This and the Infinissime are my absolute faves out of the jadore line hands down! For being a fragrance made with only water and flowers.... She is projecting! Ughhh gorgeous! Will update on longevity after a full day of wearing 🤩 EDIT: Ok so I wore it for a full day while at work and got so many compliments! People said I smell so good like I’m fresh out of the shower lol. Longevity was ok 2-4 hours. 😑

I LOVE this perfume. This is my signature scent and favorite of all times. I always prefered very sweet perfumes that almost gave you nausea like Trésor de Lancome, Black Opium and Sweet by Lolita Lempicka. When I smelled this I literally felt like I was in Heaven. It‘s white floral with jasmine notes and even though I hate fresh perfumes it feels lightly fresh but in the best way possible. It‘s a little fruity but very little and everyone would like it. It‘s the best perfume i‘ve ever smelled. I dislike the J‘adore collection but this one is a gem and is nothing like the rest of the collection. You can wear it all year long, it looms milky but doesnt stain your clothes. Doesn‘t last as long as an eau de parfum since it‘s alcohol-free and water based but still lasts (I like to bathe myself in it, I spray it a million times 🤭). Best scent ever.

I tried it on before and liked it, and now it’s a love. It’s so light and fresh, easy to enjoy, classy and elegant. Boudoir and vanity table-worthy design. I imagine Jayne Mansfield wearing this when she goes to bed. It smells like green apples, not synthetically produced, but real ones, when you cut them up and the juices are oozing out of the flesh. It also smells shampooey, but not in a forced way. Actually, it’s more like a hair conditioner or a delicate hand cream. Yes, there’s a brightness about it, but it’s ultimately soft and tender. And I normally don’t like white flowers, but this masterfully blends them together—it’s just beautiful. You’ll smell clean and not trying hard. It’s that little *je ne sais quoi* action, your secret bottled power that would make people naturally gravitate towards you, and they wouldn’t know why.

i am an absolute hater of DIOR whatever, i always see this brand as "luxury" with no class and i am not trying to lie here... sorry not sorry. i actually hated the OG J'adore (because it smells like what a 50 year old woman will wear, so as other DIOR perfumes) BUT THIS. i love love love it. i tried this once at the store and once at sephora. loved it the first time loved it the second. great on paper and better on skin. my boyfriend enjoyed it too. very clean scent i wouldn't complain if i have to use it as an everyday fragrance. the floral note hits so softly yet with power, not a unique scent but is definitely a scent i will always think about. definitely going to save up and get myself one. this will be the only DIOR perfume i own. BTW, i know of people who thinks the bottle is ugly but i find it cute lol.

This is so wild, I tested this and Amazing Grace Magnolia in the same evening...and they're so, so similar! This however, is actually a softer, more plush floral...and I'm truly impressed by the *feel* of this! It manages to match the opaque white bottle perfectly, and it's so smooth. There's nothing in here to indicate why this would be so, but it smells like...'floraled cashmere' if that were possible. It doesn't have any florals sticking out or jutting sideways whatsoever, it's extremely blended. There's almost no point to even attempt to dissect the notes because it just ends up smelling like a lovely, smooth white floral veil. I really didn't even expect to love this, but I'm happy to be wrong 🙃 It dries beautifully and smells of understated prettiness. It's like silk sheets on a spring night.

It is so nice, feminine and pretty. Very good launch. It differs from Jadore strongly enough to buy it, but it does have the solar floral resemblance. I feel very good in it. I would happily wear only this for a long time which happens to me only with Jadore and Coco Mademoiselle. It is very good for heat and sunshine and I quite love it. Much better than Coco Mademoiselle L'Eau which I barely felt on me yesterday. J'Adore Parfum d'Eau projects nicely a gentle honeysuckle-rose. The only problem I have with it is the price. It is the same as the eau de parfum or L'Or. And they state it would only be good for a year? That's unacceptable. If it was half the price a bottle would be mine already in 2022 and maybe I would use only this the entire summer. Already my sample survived 2 years.

This was the very first full size luxury perfume I purchased when I began my fragrance collecting. I was at Sephora and was looking for something fresh and floral. I gave this a sniff on the tester and was mesmerized by soft fresh watery white flowers, particularly magnolia and jasmine. Exactly what I wanted. I was curious why the spray came out milky, and the sales associate told me it doesn't have alcohol. I was even more impressed because this lasted 6 hours on me. Very easy to wear and perfect for work because it doesn't have an offensive sillage. This would also smell amazing in your hair. I wear this any time I want to feel clean and pretty. The only thing I dislike is how expensive it was, for such a simple scent.

Quaint little perfume, i really love it. It reminds me of summer at the Adriatic Sea when everything is blooming. I swore to myself that i am done with buying perfumes because i have enough for 10 lifetimes, but could not resist this one. Gentle orange blossoms and jasmine, toned down, without alcohol, what else can a woman wish for? Much better performance than I imagined it would be, I easily get 6 hours on my dry, Arizona skin. Original J'adore is a bit too much for me, but this flanker is spot on. Beautiful perfume! And that bottle? What's not to love...? I also tried the non-alcoholic Libre, and liked that too, but J'adore d'Eau is a bit prettier and lighter to wear.

It is definitely my favorite from all the J’adore line. The texture is silky-smoth; a mix between a mist and a milk, it sticks really well to the skin and hair and has a very hydrating feeling.I would recommend this fragrance sprayed all over the skin and hair in spring/summer, when clothes are worn quite short and hair is let down. The scent is sweet, floral and very clean with the nice sweetness of the honeysuckle. It almost smells “peachy”, like an expensive shampoo or shower gel. If you expect to find something like your j’adore original, it’s not the one you are going to love, because it is different. But I find this new J’adore to be quite refreshed and young.

Sweet, clean florals, not cloying at all. It has a touch of green sharpness (almost like crushed stems, kiwi peel, or green apple skin). Very beautiful and extremely feminine. At first, it feels like sticking your nose into a bouquet of fresh flowers. After about 5-10 minutes, it becomes creamier, almost reminiscent of skincare products (which makes sense, since it’s an alcohol-free formula). The opening is stunning, I have to say. The dry-down is good (not as impressive as the opening, but still lovely). The epitome of femininity and cleanliness. I’ve fallen in love with it, but we’ll see how it performs with further testing. Rating: 7–8/10.

This smells so lovely. The honeysuckle and magnolia are a dream come true! I find myself constantly spraying this when I visit Sephora. Yet I just can't justify buying a bottle. I've tested it on my skin quite a few times now, and the performance is what you would expect from a water based formula. It's a close skin scent that is absolutely a safe, crowd pleasing smell. This wouldn't be a con, however, it disappears within 30 minutes on me. I love the idea of alcohol free fragrances, however this formula would benefit from being revisited. I'm sure I'll continue spraying it in stores, because the smell is heavenly.
