amazing for bag; travel friendly, with a beautiful, almost gothic cathedral medallion design. i love to pair it with other clean scents and taint it across feminine zones: decoltage, wrists, ears. the projection is intimate, almost secretive — but maybe that’s all you need. seductive, classic, with a soft oudy undertone. forever my purse mystery.

The solid perfume is unfortunately not as good as the original. It smells very woody, but not just any wood, its the smell when you sharpen a pencil, and then you do smell a bit of rose and patchouli. The other bad thing is the performance, it is very weak and very intimate. I even asked the lady working at diptyque just to make sure it is not just me. She confirmed that the solid does not smell the same, and that it is very intimate indeed. HoWeVER, I still love it and have it in my bag because the packaging is GORGEOUS and it's a refill. But I don't depend on it as the sole perfume in my bag.
