Ilio Limited Edition

Oh my goodness, what even is this? For my Mojave Ghost lovers out there, this is your next summer love affair, just trust me. Ilio is it’s own little happy, bubbly burst of iris and soft fruits (I have no idea what prickly pear smells like, but I assume this is the fruitiness I detect). I get random laundry detergent moments but I’m someone who finds that to be a very good trait. It just makes me so happy. I can see myself emptying my FB in no time at all. I’m considering buying a backup. I have such a big crush on this fragrance. It was a blind buy, and a very successful one.

Watery and refreshing. The pear notes are luscious and sweet, reminding me of a highly specific pear juice that the Hotel Alfonso XIII in Sevilla serves for brunch. The iris is subtle but smooths out the blend gorgeously. Creamy jasmine notes emerge and embue this fragrance with a high-end SPF lotion drydown. I have this in both EDT and hair mist, and only wish that the EDT came in a travel size that could be easier to take on my next Euro summer trip :)

love!! she's the naturally good-smelling friend in the group who has her life together and no one has anything bad to say about her. EDT so will not complain about the sucky longevity. it gives you something but without doing too much. good for everyday use. if any of the above strikes your fancy, a blind buy will definitely be worth it!

I love this scent! Hope to find it when mine will be done. It’s such a good summer perfume! It smells literally like hot summer on a Greek Mediterranean island. You smell the sun and the cactuses the dry hot soil, olive trees ... well imagination of a vacation works well with that perfume. Love it! ❤️

My favorite summer scent 😍 It's light enough to not give others a headache especially in the humid PH 🇵🇭 weather but also unique enough to the point people ask me what scent I'm wearing.

I want to fill up one of those fans that also mist you with water with this instead and just stand in front of it all summer.

This perfume opening is a bright lively iris then the dry down pronounces the jasmine and prickly pear. I would say the lasting power on this perfume is about 4 hours. It's not unique to the point I wouldn't fund this anywhere else but I definitely understand why people praise this scent. If you want a slightly creamy (from the jasmine), refreshing and light floral scent for the summer, this is your goto! I do wish however that the pink pepper wasn’t so noticeable and the prickly pear more pronounced. Although not listed as a primary note, Diptyque’s signature pink pepper note pops too much to my nose.

Ok so I can't find this fragrance on Diptyque's website. I thought the bottle was limited edition but apparently the fragrance is as well? Anyway I need to stop using this like literal toilet water lol. Mainly used for gym anyways but still... I've owned this for over 6 months. In the beginning, I used to get a strong pencil shaving scent in the opening but I no longer get this. It is now a beautiful sweet watery white floral scent and I love it!

This is what I imagine Aquamarine smelled like. Florals, sand and sunscreen all mixed together. You washed your hair before going to the beach and now it’s full of salt and sand but it’s never looked better. Summer in a bottle. Downside is it barely lasts for me. I’ve had it for two years and I do feel the scent has gotten stronger with age but has no projection.

I bought this for my trip to Mallorca and cannot wait to spray it all over every day of my trip. The iris/prickly pear combination is the summer scent of my dreams.

I gave this one another chance and its so much better now its very delicate delicious perfume like freshly cut new cucumbers and bit sweet wotery fruits

I like it but don’t quite get the hype! It’s a pretty, summery, run of the mill fragrance... also doesn’t last on me..

Very light smell of flowers, nothing special, just boring.

Powdery and very light. I almost smell yellow florals.

It’s funny and interesting how the juxtaposition of fruity, fresh, and powdery notes can come together. It almost feels incredibly juicy. I grew up eating prickly pear since we had that fruit a lot in my region, and we also used to make juice with it. This perfume is so juicy that it almost feels like smelling prickly pear juice while you’re drinking it straight from the glass. ****Selling one bottle or swapping it for another Diptyque, Byredo, or Le Labo bottle.****

I don't know if I am just unlucky with the notes or if my samples suck. I tried it at a counter and loved it on paper so I bought a 10 ml vaporizer online. After trying it on me I have to say its kinda meh. I got a compliment from a colleague so it's a crowd pleaser for sure, especially in the summer but other than that...boring citrus. Maybe my nose isn't working. I stay with Philosykos. Overall ok but boring.

Pulls very Iris with a fizzing but gentle prickly pear on top. Dries down into a sweet and fruity Iris that is reminiscent of powdery, fruity candies like satellite wafers or saltwater taffy. Summer scent without coconut or heady florals.

I hope the low points are for the unimaginative graphic design, solely. The literal interpretation of the sun is not just kitsch, it's not even trying. Even if I were a packaging completionist I would totally skip this.

Also it makes sense to list the redesign because those who have it can list the design in their “haves” for future reference and tracking purposes?

too much iris - it's as if I can smell down to the chlorophyll and separate the chitin molecules with my nose hairs.
