Frozen in a Bottle

As Disney Princess Elsa (have been employed by Disney on Disney Cruises and Disney World in Orlando Florida) and having worn the other Frozen fragrances (Disney & Air-Val) I thought this was superfluous and unnecessary but I thought oh well might as well see what the fuss is about. I tested this fragrance wore it and liked it, was quite pleased with it. But I don't want to have to spend more money on these type of perfumes. My friends all think I'm odd for having so many children's Disney fragrances - the Princess Line - Belle, Ariel, Aurora, Snow White. I'm in my 30's and I have so many child fragrances that to those who don't know me and look at my collection from home assume I have children around somewhere. I think this is very unique. It was hyped up as a very modern and very "grown up" perfume that can also be worn by children. It's a slick, cool, fresh fragrance mist. It behaves like a modern frag alright because it does not have super sillage nor extra long longevity. It smells like cool mountain air. Sometimes it reminds me of a lighter and shorter-lasting Paris Hilton Passport St. Moritz which is a very lovely mountain flower fragrance. I can see why they're describing it as a fragrance that captures Northern Europe (Norway, Sweden, Scandinavia, Denmark) in a bottle. Those regions of the world have long been linked to the settings in fairy tales and in the case of Hans Christian Andersen's The Snow Queen (the inspiration for Frozen) this is most appropriate. However it does not smell of dew, snow, hail, or ice. It is not that icy. It has the feel of coming up on a mountain when you inhale the air and it's cool or cold but not frigid and very enjoyable as you get whiffs of wild mountain flowers. Lily of the valley is noticeable, white roses, green notes (in minimal doses) and lavender. Herbal at times but fresh and even minty. The mixture of floral scents never gets to be like potpourri and in fact it's very subtle. It's a lovely light little floral and in fact it makes a fine intro to florals for beginners. The dry down is warmer with amber tree. The amber dry down is very modern and in fact along the chemical ambroxan area. Very modern amber but still floral and sweetly floral. Feminine. Fresh. Floral. Invigorating. Smells great for after a shower and when you want to start the day off right. It is morning every time I smell this fume. It can't just can't resemble a night perfume. It's easy to wear and inoffensive so yes take this baby out to lunch the office at work or anywhere casually. It's casual and even sporty (feminine sporty). I live in humid hot Florida so this kind of fresh pick me up floral scent works it's magic in the hot sun and warm climate. This is not bad and it is my type of perfume but I just don't want to keep buying perfumes like this and want to venture into territory I have not entered yet. I'm all grown up! LOL

Child fragrance? There are plenty of children's fragrances already including a Frozen one. Reading the description below makes me want to try it. I love Scandinavian countries, the beautiful nature, ice and snow. I am definitely keen to try this one! Living in hot and humid Australia you miss such beauty. Ness, a native of Oslo, Norway, says the product has been in the making for almost two years. “I wanted to try to get this fragrance close to what the scent is of Norway,” he says. “It’s a scent for people that love the movie, first of all, the nature of the movie,” says Geir Ness, the perfume designer who created Frozen in a Bottle. “The scent is to capture the nature of the movie and not just the princesses.” “It’s not easy to create something ... it’s one thing to have it in your head,” Ness says. “If you like all different flowers by themselves, but put them together — maybe not smell so good.” The finished product, which also will be sold on the ships of Disney Cruise Line, includes lily of the valley, rose, amber, wild mountain flowers and lavender. “I wanted something clean and fresh so that people feel like they’re part of the movie, like they can smell it.” For preparation, Ness watched the movie, featuring royal sisters Elsa and Anna, about 20 times. “I liked the way they captured the nature,” he says. The packaging for Frozen in a Bottle also is designed to reflect Scandinavia. “You can see a glacier of Norway, like the steep mountains. I want the feeling of ice into the bottle,” Ness says. “The packaging is blue, the same color you see in the movies. ... You feel something — the effects of cold and ice when you see the packaging.” Disney has also sold another Norway-inspired perfume created by Ness. Laila eau de parfum is named for his mother, he says. Geir Ness' created Frozen in a Bottle using lavender, rose, amber, lily of the valley and wild mountain flowers, he says.

I have scandinavian roots. My sister's name is Ness, we've always thought the movie Frozen to be made especially for us... Then in 2017 Ness died. Frozen 2 came along and my two young daughters insisted that I watch this with them. Every scene was a take on the last half of our lives together before she left to rule in heaven and I stayed to rule on Earth. I have to have this fragrance for me and Ness. Frozen and Frozen 2 captured mine and my sister's relationship and turned it into the perfect Disney movie. It was strange how much our relationship was so similar to that of Elsa and Anna but even more strange when the second Frozen came out and captured the essence of the second half of our story together... Wow. Those movies captured the essence of mine and Ness's relationship and life together as close sister's 13 months apart in age all the way up to the end. I will buy this fragrance and cherish it.

I am not sure if I like these or not. These are nice for Disney fans of all ages. And if you just want a light scent. I have not smelled this one yet. I bought my husbands' elderly aunt a bottle of Belle for women. And she loves it. Says, it is light and powdery and lasts. I think it is nice for her as well. They do have scents for all ages, not just children. Try them, you might like one. I suppose I like some of them.

oh wow!! geir ness making a Disney frozen perfume?? wildflowers are a note? Im praying this smells like one of my first perfumes I fell in love with and started my passionate journey into this art...of course, I am speaking of Laila...
