04 In Amore

Another Baccarat Rouge 540 by Maison Francis Kurkdjian. Difficult to see the difference if you do not have both at the same moment...

If Ariana Grande Cloud was a graze then In Amore is a shot. Here's another clone straight out the "Hell Yeah" Department. Every 540 doppleganger has it's own distinguishment(I'll get to that in a second). The top notes of faint jasmine and a pronounced dosage of saffron is mixed perfectly as the outset to create a woody floral scent that immediately puts you in the baccarat vortex. In the most comfortable part of fragrance, the amber acts as a heating element as it warms and self-stirs the woody accords creating an alluring Oriental heart. This is totally 540 at this juncture. The base is where the distinguishment can be made. Replacing the 540 berry accord is not easy but the ylang ylang in this fragrance proved to be a fungible commodity especially with its buttery quality. Where 540 is feathery, In Amore is smooth. In closing, I think 540 is a little better although I received 2 compliments back to back while wearing In Amore.

This is indeed a lot like Baccarat Rouge. There is something piney about it. The oud isn't too strong, very woody but not at all barny. Strong sweet ylang and jasmine and the earthy bitter saffron is definitely prominent. Not feeling a lot of amber. A little more bitter than I like.
