This Perfume has a Story!! My Brother used to have this perfume since a Long Time, he owns the Vintage Italy Version and also a UK Version, Now he gave me the Italy Version and i bought the French Version. Just to say the UK Version is also good but it doesnt exist anymore so even if u have it, use it because its still a good Fragrance. Here comes the story: My Brother came ones to a Birthday Party at my Appartment, and he is a very good looking James Dean but more muscular type of dude. He had a nice Checked Shirt on and wore this Perfume. I immediately knew it was D&G Pour Homme (UK or Vintage doesnt matter in the air they all smell the same) but what i noticed more was that this Fragrance is fitted so perfectly too his look and the way this perfume was projecting so clean, so soapy, so likeable. After this situation i said i also want come across to people like my brother came to me with this perfume. My brother looked already good with his fashion but this perfume was adding even more to it. The Scent: So this Perfume is really high class and it is soooo extremely likeable, u can't do anything wrong with it, anyplace, anywhere, everytime, all seasons, it goes always and it is soooo masculine! For a Fragrance from 1994 which a lot people say that Fragrances from that era are outdated, this Fragrance will never be outdated, again that scenario with my Brother showed me that this perfume is not outdated. It will be always a Masterpiece and i think that the Fragrance does really extremely well his Job. Always beeing likeable and smelling GREAT!!! About the different version: Italy version: I have the Italy now and i have to say that the Italy Version has more of a Mature vibe, sometimes i think that the Fragrance is maybe going bad, but the Italy version has a more Tabac vibe and more of mature thing. But it is still a pleasent fragrance!! and does the same Job like the others. Longevity: Perfect! UK Version: On Youtube some say it is not a godd version, but ithink it is still a good version, u noticed it is DG Pour Homme and if u wear it in the air u still likeable. Longevity : Perfect! France Version: This is what comes close to the Italy version but only in the drydown, but more modernised. The Tabac is kind of better balanced out and the Opening is more Citrusi, But again it is very Pleasent!! Longevity Perfect! The Longevity are all very good of this Fragrances! So doesnt matter which version u have! They all Good and get the job done!!! Edit: For some of u who i really looking for signature scent or an allrounder, or a dumb reach. This is really it!!! Dont looke anyfurther. Who ever made this perfume has no Idea what for a wonderful Job he did. Smelling great like my Brother.

I like to think that I'm calculated when it comes to fragrance choices, researching every last note to approximate a smell before ever actually smelling it. Everyone lies to themselves at some point. D&G Pour Homme was an impulse buy at TJMaxx. I'd read about it on here before, and I knew they switched back to Italian production, so when I read "Made In Italy" I knew it was a decent call. It's a massive 200ml bottle, made in 2020 which I found odd. Turns out that prior to 2023/2024 when D&G changed production, only the 200ml bottles were made in Italy... for some reason. The scent itself is textbook "pleasant." Starts with a sweet rush of oranges and lemons, really makes the senses work overtime (Any XTC fans here?). What sticks around is a delightful haze of lavender, vanilla, sage, and slightly bitter tobacco. Gets a little spicy at the end, not Bel Ami spicy, but like a pinch of pepper. It's very soft, and quite suave. Extremely versatile too, fresh enough to work with shorts while running errands, but still refined enough to dress up. I have zero experience with the fabled 1994 version (which according to some 20 year old forums, wasn't as incredible as people make it out to be now), nor the French and German ones. The Italian one gives me at least about seven hours with two sprays depending on the season, doesn't fill a room (a good thing in my opinion), and doesn't like the cold. I don't like, nor endorse, overspraying, but if you HAD to do it then I would pick this. Pour Homme is a very clean version of a lot of scents that're crammed into the "barbershop" genre. Eau Sauvage has that slightly sweaty floral, Guerlain Vetiver is earthy, L'Eau D'Issey (a contemporary of the original D&G Pour Homme) has sour yuzu, and Habit Rouge has that dusty rose. D&G Pour Homme's "dirtiest" aspect is the tobacco, but it lends itself more to a soapiness rather than sweaty skin or a gardener with his pipe. Some people value bottle design, I'm indifferent vergeing on persnickity (I don't like Le Male's). This is a very simple bottle, its smooth curves reflect the stuff inside. The velveteen box is just... decadent. Real nice. In 200ml form, the design turns downright monolithic, but the large base makes it almost unwieldy. Not that big of a deal, just a note for those it may matter to. I like Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme. It's up there with Eau Sauvage for most elegant "summer in a bottle" vibes. Not bad for an unexpected addition to the collection.

As a child of the early 90s, this fragrance is bottled nostalgia... A few years ago, an old customer of mine and I were discussing fragrances and Pour Homme came up. I expressed to him that the original bottle "with the sticker" is hard to find nowadays. He casually said "I have one at home I never wear, I'll bring it in for you." My jaw dropped and a few hours later I had a vintage bottle in my hands - made in Italy. I loved it, but after a few wears I began to notice some sour top notes and I ended up giving it away to a close friend who was lusting over it. Flash forward to last week, when out of nowhere, thoughts of it came flooding into my head. I'm not entirely sure why, but I suddenly had a longing for it. After some research, I gathered that the "best" reformulation was supposedly the made in France edition distributed by Shiseido. And while I know nothing can compare to the original, I had to quell my curiosity and buy a bottle, especially at the meager price of $40 USD. I received my bottle today and I'm wearing it as I type this. I have to say, it's beautiful. This version is well blended and totally worth it's humble price tag. Is it an incredibly dynamic, revolutionary scent? Not particularly. But not everything needs to be an exercise in newness. I find things that echo a history - a capsule, a time when people were different and things were simpler - to be endearing and enjoyable. That being said, I still believe the scent is wonderful and imminently wearable in the 2020s. More so than many new cotton-candy designers and avant-garde niche fragrances. Longevity has been decent at 4-5 hours in and projection is about average. Concerning the scent itself: this lays somewhere between Versace's the Dreamer and YSL's L'Homme. The scent profile is closer to the Dreamer, with it's combination of "fresh" tobacco and lavender on a tonka-coumarin base, though I find Pour Homme to be much cleaner and rounder than The Dreamer. There's no loudness here. This is intimate. And while it smells almost nothing like YSL's L'homme, there is a certain spiritual connection between the two that makes me smile. It could be the aromachemicals that they share, being from around the same era. I like to think it's the bottled zeitgest of the late 20th century. Absolutely worth it's humble price, if not for anything but to smell history.

It is funny to realize again that instead of chasing the next “big” thing, we can look to the past and find more pleasing scents. This is not the first time this has happened to me this year. I can’t believe I still haven’t reviewed this blast from the past, even though I had a miniature edition in 2017, which, sadly, I don’t remember how it smelled. My answer is a resounding yes for all of you wondering whether this oldie release is still worth buying in 2025 and beyond. However, for those who wish to discover it for the first time, this review is just for you. TOP NOTES As the notes suggest, Pour Homme opens up with a fresh burst of citrus. Realistically, you’d be hard-pressed to pinpoint any of the specified citrus notes, but the overall feeling is like a fresh citrus garden. Combined with this zest, soapy Neroli mixes for an invigorating quality that instantly transports me to a sunlit Mediterranean morning. HEART NOTES Once the initial citrus fades, the fragrance’s heart takes center stage. I’m a big sucker for lavender-based scents, and this is just what I love in my citrus-oriented perfumes. A hefty dose of lavender that gets more peppery as the fragrance sits longer on your skin. BASE NOTES A genius move from D&G was to include a fresh dose of hay-like tobacco into the dry down, creating a warm and inviting finish that lingers on the skin. I’m going to be honest with you: If I hadn’t read the notes online, I wouldn’t have known that the slight sweetness and woodiness were coming from cedar and tonka beans. The overall quality is here, but anyone with years of experience in this hobby will know that the ingredients here were not the most expensive. OVERALL I appreciate how Dolce&Gabbana has managed to preserve the classic elements of Pour Homme while still keeping it relevant for today’s modern man. Whether it’s the perfectly crafted bottle, the well-balanced aroma, or the positive comments I receive, Pour Homme remains a standout fragrance in my collection. ** Note: My bottle is from roughly 2015, made in U.K. For me, this is a modern classic. I'd call it a summer type scent due to the dominant citrus out of bottle on top but yet I do find it wearable all four seasons where I live. Great for daytime wear, office and well into the evening. It can easily dress up or down depending on the circumstance. In fact, it's one word that defines this fragrance for me-- Ease. An effortless ease. D&G really nailed Italian sprezzatura with this one. Refinement, grace and charm all without trying too hard at any of it, seemingly. The open out of bottle is a bright, slightly bitter citrus medley on the skin and in the air with my nose receiving it as Bergamot and dry lime zest, primarily. It may be too dry or borderline astringent for some but to me that is perfect. It's definitely not very sugary at any point. Within 5mins on my skin the neroli blossom becomes quite evident giving a nice clean, semi-sweet, slightly fresh, green and white floral texture beneath the tangy citrus which continues to soften. It's all very elegant and again, effortless. Most of the middle heart and dry-down remains a linear, creamy, somewhat soapy, modern barbershop profile on my skin. Expensive white/off-white soap stored in a cedarwood chest. Semi-sweet but fully grown and grounded. This to me easily has mass appeal/compliment magnet/daily wear potential and so on, but there is a slight "funkiness" and individualism setting it apart. I'm not sure what it is and it's nothing I recognize in the listed notes. A slight bohemian vibe if you will. Could be a funky Tonka Bean pronunciation. Also, unimportantly, a material/fabric association for me with this scent is indeed leather (though I hardly receive leather nor tobacco accord at any point of its duration, except maybe toward the very end, faintly) but is not dark brown or black, Spanish leather. I see creamy white, ivory leather or (maybe suede) when I smell this. That type of leather, which really isn't a leather scent.

I have had trouble figuring D&G Pour Homme out. Specifically, it is difficult for me to reconcile how much I like this with how unnatural/chemical-like it smells to me. It is not that I don't like other fragrances which smell "synthetic" (meant descriptively, not literally). Cool Water, for example, smells great to me, and doesn't for a second smell "natural." But other fragrances that resemble PH and are similarly artificial (e.g., The Dreamer) fail on that count, while PH succeeds. As to actual smell, Pour Homme is fresh (citrus, herbal) but has some warmth. It is grown-up, but entirely unpretentious. It is also surprisingly complex - I have been wearing it for three years and I often get something new from it even now. It is reminiscent of cosmetic/personal care products, but it does not smell of any soap that I know. Edit: After thinking about it, I realized that D&G Pour Homme is the smell of the deodorant I would happily wear for life, but wouldn't consider as a scent in its own right. It is the epitome of what Luca Turin described as "functional fragrance," a style I normally avoid. Not that I generally dislike the smell of functional fragrances, any more than I dislike the smell of niche perfumes that smell like a $200 boutique candle. I like the smell of them, I just don't like smelling of them. For me, D&G PH is the exception that proves the rule: a piece I love in a style I dislike.

Somehow it came to my attention quite late. I tested unintentionally in local Douglas store in my city, and I just like wow .. so basic yet so pleasant. Soapy frags are kinda my weak spot. But still I didn't buy it directly afterward. One month later, I tested it again, there I decided I have to add this into my collection. I ordered it online from discounter where I often purchased fragrances. When it arrived and I sprayed, I felt like why is it not as nice as when I tested??? Then I thought perhaps due to shipping shock, which sometimes happen to some frags. Long story short, I let it sit for a week, and bam, it is exactly like when I tested it. It is so non offensive frag that I can easily wear to office. The opening is kinda generic designer fragrance style, nice, but generic. But then the dry down after half an hour... I love it. I can't stop smelling my wrist. Imo, it is better to spray in skin than clothes. Maybe it applies for me that luckily it fits my skin, dunno. The performance is quite decent, like 5-6 hours. I simply reapply after lunch if needed. Final note: it is kinda sweet, but not sweet that might get appreciation from younger guys that I think it might be polarizing (not love/like vs hate, but more love/like vs just okay).

I've worn this fragrance for three days straight on purpose so that I can give a proper opinion on this good fragrance. I don't know anything about the 1994 formulation so I can't speak on that! however, the current version is very decent and I can honestly say this can be a good signature scent that can be worn daily. Very fresh and clean fragrance that smells professional and classy with decent longevity and projection that got me through an entire work day. I've committed myself to start enjoying what I currently have insted of aquiring more fragrances because this hobby is super expensive 🫰🏾 and I can't afford to keep buying like crazy. My final verdict on DGPH is that it's a good fragrance to wear every day in all seasons except for the extreme cold weather and it is very budget friendly to the wallet and is very inoffensive and pleasant if you work in an office setting. I give this a 10/10 because I believe it's well put together, versatile, not expensive, great presentation and others around you will not be offended by this fragrance.

I don't understand why I haven't gotten my nose on this fragrance years ago? This is a great fragrance to me because it smells really refined, mature, classy, sophisticated and timeless. Lovely citrus 🍋🍊 opening with the lavender 🪻 and clary sage and that tobacco and cumarin in the base is really a good combination. Longevity and sillage is above average and I believe this could be worn all year round except for humid tropical heat. I picked this up at my local Ross for 59.00 for a 125ml which I believe is a great deal for how good this fragrance is. I'm not familiar with the old school formulation of this but my bottle was made in Italy and it smells phenomenal to me and the box is very elegant with the blue velvet texture on it is such a nice touch. So happy to finally have this in my collection because I'm really digging this and I strongly recommend this fragrance to anyone who wants a nice classy easy going quality fragrance? Look no further because Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme has you covered. 10/10

Ok , just to preface , anyone who has has the vintage paper label one knows its special and has banned ingredients and cant be replicated, ..BUT...... I'm sitting here on Father's Day Comfortably Numb and I'm going over to my fragrance display and I applied 4 sprays of this and I just got to tell you that it totally gets me there,...this gets you there. Anyone who loves the Vintage fragrances knows exactly what I'm talking about when we're looking for an alternative to Gucci Envy ,we're looking for something to get us there , sadly there isn't anything , but here there is!, this gets you there!, this reformulation is still close enough that it gives you almost all the enjoyment you need for a fraction of the price and I'm going to tell everybody right now to buy this before it's a relic of the past🤷🏻 Compared to Modern fragrances this is literally a 10 out of 10 and it's a reformulation🤯 While it doesn't have the performance of the Vintage, it still has great performance compared to new fragrances

Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme is a citrus, spicy and aromatic fragrance. Its opening is fresh and citrus accompanied by floral accords of neroli. As the minutes go by, the aroma becomes spicier, notes of tobacco and pepper are perceived and the aroma of lavender also increases, but the neroli remains present for a long time. At this stage its aroma reminds me of some cleaning products. After a couple of hours, a light sweet touch of tonka bean emerges, accompanying lavender, sage and cedar, leaving a very pleasant and masculine aroma. This fragrance is ideal for use at office work or casual outings, weekends, etc., in some way I imagine it on someone of mature age and a family man, due to its almost "classic" aroma. In terms of longevity, it lasts more than 10 hours with me, although its projection or aromatic sillage is moderate to close to the skin. If you want a freshly showered and masculine smell, this is a very good choice

A wonderful, smooth powdery soapy citrus lavender with a touch of tobacco and tonka bean. Smells like a wonderful Italian soap with a dash of coziness from the tonka (just a "touch" of sweetness, not "sweet"). This fragrance is perfectly blended. It is a clean, gentlemanly scent that smells mature but modern (not old man). It certainly reminds of the other mid-late 90s fragrances, but is among the best of the designers, and stays relevant to this day. If you want to smell pleasant, and are well put together groomed (think casual or dress collared shirt, chinos), this fragrance works great for that, both in casual and formal settings. A fantastic office scent. Age range: I'd say 20s and up. Performance is really good. It will last 9 hours. Quality is excellent. Value is great. No need to chase down the vintage bottle. The current one will do! No brainier classy fragrance 7.5/10

This is the best cologne for men. If it lasted longer it'd be better. I don't care about the original. This is pretty great. Also the notes used in this are actually very similar to the original Eau de Cologne created by Johann Maria Farina. So it's interesting that Dolce and Gabbana sells this as a very Italian scent... it is. Can anybody add this? The designer of this cologne is Max Gavarry And I had accepted its longevity and thought maybe this type of smell just doesn't last long that's what it is. and then I read and realized The One also has longevity issues so I now am quite bothered by the fact that they don't fix the longevity on this... and the one. Apparently the new made in Italy one also lasts only 3 hours. That doesn't make sense. Its longevity should really improve it doesn't make sense. This beats any other cologne I've tried but it has this giant problem.

now THIS is fucking peak spent 30 mins in the aisle at ross thinking if i should blind buy it and it is definitely worth it. beautiful fresh citrus scent with neroli in the opening makes it so good and it somehow stays fresh and a bit sweet at the drydown. the neroli and tobacco in this thing makes it so unique for a freshie. it kinda smells like a very luxurious soap. kinda gives wall street banker vibes or sumn. very mass pleasing and insanely non-offensive at the same time. performance is kinda ass for my liking but idrgaf since i got a 200ml bottle for a steal price and i can overspray a bit. the way the notes are blended in this makes it an all year rounder fragrance for me. this can easily be my new signature scent, daily wear, and even beater fragrance because of how good and versatile it is. scent 9/10 performance 6/10 versatility 10/10

Forever a classic. Not much citrus up top to me. Maybe alittle but this goes pretty lavender and tobacco heavy with aromatic touches fairly quickly. You'll pick up citrus underneath but it's in no way the central player to my nose. Some here are saying it's soapy and yeah alittle. To me it doesn't go overly soapy though. I never tried the original formula (bottle with the label) so I can't speak for it. Although I have heard some say they prefer the new one. Ofcourse some are always going to prefer the OG. You might find this dated. I personally don't but then again I still wear Eau Sauvage and Habit Rouge. In my opinion this is still one of the best D&G fragrances. So many disappointing newer releases from them. This still stands out as being authentic. I'll always wear this.

Either this or L’Immensité could be my signature scent, but in different ways. L’Immensité announces me to the room, but Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme feels more personal- it reminds me of who I was when I was just starting my career. I’ve worn this through milestones and successes, and it’s tied to some of my best memories. I don’t reach for this to project confidence; I wear it to simply be myself. The orange and tobacco create the perfect juxtaposition- like light and shadow weaving together. I’ve always loved the idea of an orange being smudged into a cigarette, and that’s exactly what Pour Homme captures. It’s light, it’s effortlessly handsome, and it will always feel timeless to me.

Clean and soapy are the two words that come to my mind when I smell this fragrance.. Smells very formal and gentlemanly.. This is ideal for a white-shirt-black-trousers attire.. There is something very relaxing and comforting about this fragrance.. Sadly projection and longevity are both weak.. Projection is almost nil and longevity on my skin is about 4 hours as a skin-scent.. From what I've read and heard, this perfume used to be a classic but has recently fallen from it's past glory.. It can go back to it's days of glory if Dolce and Gabbana improves the longevity and projection.. Need not be a room-filler but making it a little stronger can go a long way...

It went from virtually no smell two months ago to a beautiful relaxing Italian gentleman's scent. What's interesting about this fragrance's story is it took some inspiration from Carolina Herrera CH for Men, who then looked at D&G Pour Homme when making Carolina Herrera CH Sport. Designers playing the copy of a copy game, so which is the real ship of Theseus? In the open I get peppery bergamot, mandarin, and some neroli blossoms. In the heart an aromatic lavender and peppery sage lead the way before a gentle base of tobacco and tonka sweetened cedar settle in. I liked it so much on an air spray about 6 weeks into maturation that I bought the Intenso as well.

Scent of the day: Dolce and Gabbana Pour Homme. This flew under my radar for so long, but it’s a classic for good reason. It’s a beautiful aromatic scent with opening notes of lots of citrus, then a heart of lavender that stays through to the base of cedar and a touch of vanilla. Very easy to wear and almost instantly recognisable as a classic of 90’s style men’s fragrance 😊 My 125ml bottle is not from the original launch back in 92, but from the relaunch that took place in 2012. Mine is Made in France but I noticed that the 200ml bottle is made in Italy! I’m not sure if there is any difference, but regardless I’m really enjoying this one.

For some reason this fell off my radar, however, I saw it on the perfume store today and gave it a try. This is one of the most addictive soapy scent I have ever smelled, seriously I can't stop smelling my hand and the test strip. then I tried the intenso flanker and now I think I will buy both. On one hand you have the perfect soapy smell and on the other, the perfect alternative to the initial scent. in essence intenso is what a flanker should really be, a workaround of the original, another suggestion....etc. so yes, yes to both and yes they deserve a perfect score given the scent and the price. 10/10, Blind buy recommended!

My signature office scent. This was a blind buy purchase and I was completely blown away by how incredible this smelled. Fresh, soapy and clean. And so unique, to me at least! I have no fragrance that smells similar to this. Longevity wise, it lasts anywhere from 6 to 7.5 hours on my skin. Versatility wise, this would be appropriate for Spring, Summer and Fall, during the day, definitely great for the office, and can easily be used for date night as well. Daily signature scent worthy. This is such a surprise underrated gem and got me to really appreciate my fragrance journey even more. One of the best blind purchases ever.

This is for a 2020 batch, Made in Italy. Not quite a 10/10 imo like the OG vintage formula but it gets close. Slightly less herbal/ fougère forward and complex but still very nice well blended. Classic, clean fresh and manly smelling fragrance. Starts quite soapy and citrus. I haven’t gotten a lot of tobacco or woods yet but I’ll keep testing this more. Not too strong and should be pretty mass appealing and not offend anyone. I haven’t done a ton of sprays yet but lasts quite a long time on my skin. Moderate to intimate projection under clothing. I give this a 9/10

This is such a good fragrance. Versatile, uplifting, classic. A gentlemanly DNA that spans many ranges from casual to sophisticated. And it does so with an almost effortless simplicity that no one will find objectionable. I've worn this for years and always had positive compliments. Spring, Summer and even into early Fall this is an easy choice. Good performance, and an affordable price on discounters make it even more appealing. If you like soapy clean, fresh citrus-based Italian-style perfumery, this is a no-brainer.

Let me clarify that this pyramid like a lot of pyramids for reformulations on Fragrantica isn't accurate. According to Dolce Gabbana website, this has cashmeran, Australian sandalwood, tarragon and lemon which aren't listed here. So I assume that the pyramid for the original version is actually closer for this one. They did reformulate it and changed the bottle but that was to separate it from the shite versions that had the look of the original that they had released in the following years of the original release.

I love this so much. This is an immortal, S-Tier masterpiece. I will always lament the original 1994 formulation with its heavy oakmoss and coumarin (of which I still have a 50% bottle), but the modern formulation still retains that magic Italian barbershop soul. The core DNA is still there ... neroli that's a bit sharp & bitter, sage/lavender that's dry & clean, and that unmistakable tobacco backbone. A classic for me in 1999, and still love this today, two decades later. Here's to the next two decades of D&GpH.

My favourite of all time. I've worn it since the mid 90's, and I'll wear it until I die. Strange, though, how it changes to your nose over time. I used to hype the bergamot, lavender, and especially the tobacco. But just this week, I noticed the neroli and mandarin were behind the wheel. I was enchanted all day. Couldn't stop smelling the back of my hand. It's a lot like being in love with someone over the space of a lifetime- you just can't help finding new ways to love them.

A classy, clean, masculine an exquisite fragrance. You can use it as a signature scent without a doubt. It wouldn’t be my first choice for a hot summer day as I think it could potentially be quite heavy for those occassions, especially with its tobacco note (you can use Light Blue instead if you wanna be “loyal” to D&G). Safe for the office and for some casual scenario (white shirt, jeans & loafers combo run through my mind. Polo shirt perhaps, but not a t-shirt IMO).

This one is so well put together. It’s masculine yet soft at the same time. You can smell the 90’s vibe it gives off, but also it hasn’t got a feeling of being dated either. I’m a fan of super versatile scents & this one fits that bill. I feel like I can wear this with anything, at any time, anywhere. Not to mention it’s extremely affordable. Really glad I added this recently. I never gave it any love back in the day, but I certainly will now. Such an easy wear.

I have no idea why it took me so long to try this one out. Light blue sun was my signature fragrance for a few years. I’ve tried many other editions, but never the regular dolce homme. This is golden casual. It’s fresh, clean and masculine. The dry down is incredible. It starts with clean citrus and linens, with hints of soap. Once that fades away, dolce homme is pleasant with a light musk. It’s clean cool and gives off happy vibes. All around winner.

Simplesmente uma joia dos anos 90. Que época impressionante. Os perfumes queriam mais do que somente se fazer presentes, mas sim deixar uma declaração uma marca. Dei blind, mas pelo meu histórico de davidoff cool water, leau dissey era fato que eu iria gostar. Muito versátil, cheiro de homem que se cuida. Alinhado e arrumado. Mais maduro com certeza, mas não faz feio. Mais um que com certeza veio para ficar na coleção l.

Perfect “dumb reach” perfume for any season but I prefer these scents in warmer weather. Medium longevity and projection, clean-soapy-fresh mass appealing, well done scent for any occasion. Really a perfect scent for “clean men” vibe. Also quite cheap if you look for it at discounters. I found 125ml bottle for 50€ and there are 200ml for 80€. Soo if you need good, cheap all rounder scent this is really a must.

I don ́t have the olfactory nose, like some others around here, the "master perfumers" with their "expert" analisys on the notes, the base/top notes, the notes breakdown, what is sintectic and not and all that bullshit, but for me, this shit smells exactly like the ́94 version and is fu.....ing amazing!! Great citrus, great longevity and sillage. Must be great on spring and summer. Just great!!

D&G Pour Homme (Made in France) Tested January 2020 Yes, indeed it is almost identical as the old version! Sillage and longevity are very good. To my nose it smells a 90% similar as the 1994 Made in Italy (just that tobacco is not as prominent). Other than that it is still (almost) as good as the vintage. I may buy a bottle of this just to avoid paying the insane prices for a Vintage on Ebay.

Probably my favorite fragrance. There's something very relaxing about it. You definitely feel like a smooth wise man wearing this. I just wish it lasted a couple more hours. That's probably what the 1994 OG was like. Too bad I didn't get to experience it. 9.5/10 near perfect. Only weakness is longevity. Not that much projection either, but you wear this one to feel good about yourself.

I must have lucked out and gotten the strongest 125ml 2024 batch produced. I get excellent performance for the scent profile. ~2hrs light projection & it's a skin scent for 4-6 more hours. Overspray and everyone smells me. Respray & I can pick up the scent off my skin the next AM. Bottle doesn't spray very much so typical aplication is 3-4 under my shirt on my chest.

This is the type of fragrance a true man, someone who is masculine, but gentleman would wear. Someone who is a winner. The Italian man. A gladiator who works hard everyday to provide for his family. Someone who has a successful career and wants to smell clean and masculine in the office. This fragrance is just perfect. I cannot get enough of it. 11/10. Perfection.

i have all version of this perfume from 1994 tell 2024 latest version that made in Italy again still nothing are compare to the first version but still the latest version and the French version are cool but D&G should bring back the whole set back (shower gel, deodorant spray , body lotion ) and try to bring the scent back more to the first version

This one is special. Its been around forever with a cult following for a reason. Italians just know how to put stuff together. It’s a soapy clean scent with a twist. In 2025, may be a hard sell though. Today’s tastes have shifted. If you want to smell unique in an ocean of LV, Sospiro, etc., this is 11/10. Women love it (from experience).

One of the most versatile fragrances in terms of temperature variations and occasions, i can’t find a time or place that you can’t use this one, and great choice for the soapy scents lovers. (I’m talking about the Latest reformulation made in france) Neroli tobacco and lavender are the stars of the show here and performance is great.

I recently acquired a bottle made in France. This version seems nearly identical to the original version from the 90s. It would wrong to call this fragrance dated. It is fresh, clean, and really not like any other fragrance on the market past or present. It is easy to love and a great signature scent and easy to wear all year round.

Lovely clean, manly and fresh scent. Easy to wear, the sillage and projection are moderate but last all day on my skin. I ́m using the france version right now wich is more green and lemony, I also have the german version that is more heavy on tabaco and lavander and last forever with 3 sprays. This is basically a signature scent.

This fragrance is the 90's rolled into a bottle. Even the presentation with it's box is decidedly 'old' and 90's It's a lovely clean tobacco scent that harkens back to a different time, and smells great while doing it. Reminds me of CH Herrera for Men, gives that same old school wearable light tobacco scent from yesteryear.

Idgaf what anybody say, i want this fragrance and i want it NOW. The notes looks so damn interesting it’s a super masculine old-school versatile fragrance, which is exactly what i’ve been looking for besides from the perfect gourmand fragrance which i’ll keep looking and trying until i find the perfect one

This fragrance is one of best purchases I did in 2024. smells baby powdery and lovely to me. I have nike the perfume man too and they smell little different but it's very similar. Nike one is stronger smell but dries faster. DC pour homme dries longer and softer and smoother with less alcohol smells.

Lemon, Clary Sage and Coumarin according to the royal blue velvet box, and lemon scent is not quite citrus by the way and much smoother. I used this one in the 90s at least. It's awesome! This formulation might even be better. Wow! If it smells like a soap it would have to be a damn fine soap.

I bought this & at first just liked it.... but it became my goto in most situations after multiple times wearing it. I don't own a ton of scents.. like 7-12 or so. But those days that I'm trying to pick one to wear & nothing jumps out, I find myself going to this one almost every time.
