Light Blue Forever

I've nerver tried OG Light Blue, but I have this version and the intense one. Both are pretty similar, so I think It's redundant to own both. Forever is sweeter and more powdery compared to intense. This Forever is my go-to-work- fragrance It's perfect for professional settings because It's clean & minimalist. To me it's feels very very velvety. I would describe it as a citrus, musky, powdery and velvety fragrance.This combination makes it more interesting than a regular citrus scent. For some reason, it slightly reminds me Angel Nova EDP. They are not dupes or super similar, but they share something pungent in the opening. On my skin, this is long-lasting. I can smell it for around 10 hours. Of course, towards the end it sits closer to the skin, but it projects very well the first 6 hours. I have received compliments while wearing it. I recomend it if you like long-lasting citrus fragances with a touch of sweetness and podweriness. This is a daytime wear in hot weather. The vibe I get from this is classic and serious. (Stay away if you are looking for a sexy girly scent). I also find it perfectly unisex—neither masculine nor feminine, just right in the middle. Perfect to share with your significant other I will definitely repurchase this.

Instant love!! :) I was recently in Sephora, just smelling my way down the aisle, not planning on buying anything, and randomly picked up Light Blue Forever. I had smelled the original Light Blue years ago but it wasnt quite for me, but this! This!! :) Soo sweet, so light and so beautiful!! I generously sprayed my wrists and left, but for the rest of the day, I couldn't get the scent out of my head. A few weeks went by and after the sudden heat wave, I knew for sure I wanted a bottle for myself for the perfect spring-summer scent. From my memory of the original Light Blue, Light Blue Forever is sweeter and smoother and while it's still bright and fresh, it's not as lemony sharp as the original which I enjoy. Not overly fruity or overly citrusy or overly floral, it's the perfect sweetness with a subtle touch of feminine musk. It's the right balance for when the weather is hot but you still want to smell sweet and pretty. My only complaint is the longevity- I can get about 2-4hours before it's gone, but for this addicting scent, I'll just have to make myself a little travel atomizer:) This is like happy sunshine in a bottle for me :)

This quickly became one of my all time favourite fragrances from the first whiff. It is the perfect uplifting scent, smelling it makes me smile and feel so warm. It's summer in a bottle, a nice sunny holiday. I can not wait to wear this abroad! The notes blend together to give you the ultimate freshly baked lemon cake delectable scent. The volatile notes it has in it does mean it dries down rather quickly and the citrus goodness doesn't last forever, but the full dry down is very subtle and inoffensive (a "your skin but better" scent). Due to the notes I was expecting this not to last all that long, but to my surprise it lasted a good 5hrs before it became close to the skin which for a citrusy fragrance I'm more than happy with. I know they do this often, but I'm gutted D&G have discontinued this. I'm genuinely considering buying another full bottle so I never have to worry about running out. Scent: 10/10 Projection: 6/10 Longevity: 5/10 Versatility: 5/10 (best for summer, or when you're yearning for a summery feel) Price (at resale price): 7/10 Overall: 6.6/10

As many have said, this smells a lot like the original, which I consider to be a true masterpiece in the history of perfumes. However, it 100% has differences that make it stand on its own. That would be the addition of the white flowers, which add a bubble-gummy tuberose feel (although tuberose is not specifically listed here). The white florals come out right away and stay throughout the life of it. I chose this today, when it is 15F outside, and it only confirmed for me that this is now my "winter" Light Blue. Of course this would be great as a summer scent too, but that extra floral aspect really opens it up for year round possibilities, as this version really isn't just a "freshie". I'm 5 hours in and can still smell it on myself so longevity is decent, sillage is moderate. This is the best flanker from this line in my opinion.

Today I came to the realization that I am a Light Blue Hoe. I've smelled about 5 different Light Blue fragrances recently and wanted to bathe myself in every single one of them. This is no exception. It is Light Blue but with white florals taking the forefront instead of the citruses. It is white floral, zesty, musky and lightly sweet/woody - very feminine. I could wear this year round as it is slightly deeper than many other Light Blues, plus *HALLELUJAH* it is an EDP. It makes me sad that because this is not a copy pasted version of the OG Light blue, people hate on it. It has similarities to the original but is very much its own fragrance - meaning its not redundant to own both, which can be the case in many flankers. Beautiful addition to the line IMHO.

Just received a small 25 ml bottle of this magical potion today. I never expected to fall in love like this. As soon as I sprayed the first spray it transported me to a state of absolute bliss. My eyes rolled back and I experienced glimpses of happy memories from vacations on the French riviera as a child. It smells so so good! Like clean fresh linen sundrying outside in an orange-tree garden in the Mediterranean. It's bloodorange and orange blossom in addition to the zesty lemon that does it I think. It's so gorgeous and fresh! I see this as becoming one of my favorite perfumes, and it's limited edition and really not available anymore. So tomorrow I will empty the stock where I bought it. At least get two or three 50 ml for backup.

Something about this smells so magical and fantastical to me. But also so nostalgic. It reminds me of an ethereal angelic being.. but then it also reminds me of a going to the pool on a hot summer day when I was 8 years old. It reminds me of the type of perfumes my mom used to wear. I'm not usually a fan of clean scents. I like to smell sweet and edible which is why I was so shocked at how in love I was at this at the store when I had just smelled the most deliciously sweet smells right before it. I think it just transported me back in time and into other realms in my kooky head which gave me such a strong reaction to it. Sometimes it's kind of crazy to me how smelling one thing can really give you such intense feelings.

This is a sparkling, lemony floral. The fragrance matches the packaging to a T - evoking golden sunshine dappling turquoise blue waters. Perfect for summer and for those who don’t particularly like citrus, as the white flowers take over pretty soon after the opening. There’s often a tendency to describe citrus scents as reminiscent of cleaning fluid which I think is unfortunate and lazy. In any case the lemon in this perfume is blended with blood orange and apple so it’s light and gentle as opposed to sharp and tart. This perfume is one of the ones you can respray often so I got myself a 100ml bottle. It makes me feel like I’m at the beach, even though I can’t actually afford to go on holiday...

I absolutely adore this version of light blue, but - none of the light blue scents last on me! The OG disappears within minutes. The Intense is gone in 5. This one, yeah, there were hints of it for over an hour, but then by the 2 hour mark it was all gone. As a soapmaker/oil perfume designer, I know that the top notes will have no lasting power without a good anchor, like bergamot, litsea cubeba/verbana in it; but I also know that citrus oils make you sensitive to the sun and, at least in my industry, there is a firm limit to how much citrus you can put in a fragrance. I'll try it again one day - definitely recommend giving it a shot, it may work better/last longer on your skin chemistry!

I have had the original Light Blue edt on my wishlist for a while. After reading reviews on that and comparing it to the "Intense" version, I purchased the Intense without testing it. Long story short, I absolutely hated it - BUT with my purchase came a sample of Forever. It was love at first whiff and ordered it immediately after trying it. Okay, so, my favorite flower scent in the history of ever is the mock orange - and this is IT in a bottle. I can't get enough of it. You literally can't spray too much of this, it's such a wonderful fresh flower scent. We have a mock orange bush at home (Sweden) and I grew up around this scent, so to me this brings back so many fond memories.

My number one favourite fragrance ever. It's a light, fresh, cheerful scent with a little bit of sweetness. There's this delicate richness to it that I love. It's hard to describe because it's well blended and I can't pick out any specific notes but I do know it smells wonderful. It may lean a tad bit more feminine but I do see this as an unisex fragrance because it's just a nice fresh scent for anybody. It's the most suitable for spring and summer but I could wear it all year round. And to everyone saying it smells like cleaning supplies I need to know what cleaning products y'all using cos I need my whole house to smell like this.

I love this so much I could cry. It's stunning. My favourite out of the entire Dolce&Gabbana light blue range. The reason I selected spring, summer, and winter for this is because sure the circus is great at keeping me feeling fresh and clean in the heat, but it also sparkles in the cold and snow. This can usually be found at a good price in the UK from one of many of our e-commerce retailers. I just wish it gave a couple more hours in longevity, but its Dolce&Gabbana, so I've come to expect nothing less with their less than ideal performance. A couple more hours and this would have been 10 outta 10 perfection for me..

This is the first D&G Light Blue fragrance I have purchased. The lemon top note fades quickly. The orange blossom or neroli is most prominent for me. It is natural smelling, as though neroli essential oil was used. I can easily use 4-6 sprays without it being too much. The longevity is poor like most of the modern summer fragrances. For my summer fragrances, I have made 10 ml decants in atomizers to carry with me for reapplication during the day which solves the issue for me. I don't mind, I probably have more fragrance than I will need for the next 5 years ;)

This is the flanker that broke them all. I have OG light blue, eau intense, love is love, summer vibes, capri in love, and Italian zest. Non of them compare to this and I’m a light blue lover. This one is better in every way. The depth and complexity while remaining floral, refreshing, airy, and light. It has the longevity, it has the sillage, and it has people telling me I smell good every single time I wear it. I’m 37 and I definitely don’t think it’s too juvenile for me. I wish they didn’t discontinue it...

I'm a guy, I own several very masculine frags, but somehow this one hits the spot with me. It's been a hot minute since I tried Light Blue Forever Pour Homme, but I can attest to this being a good Forever. Yes it has a pronounced floral opening with that signature Forever dna that we all love. As it dries down, it becomes such a heavenly floral grapefruit scent. So my lil bro wore this once, he's been gone for an hour ish, but I can still smell the trail in his room. So yeah it's a definite yes from me.

I’m very disappointed :( i adore this scent but it didn’ last just 3-4 hours...... my first light blue which i get in 2006 for my bday it lasted more than 24 hours. Wtf with these “original” ones??! I don’t get it... my light blue dupe from pharmacy for 4 bucks lasts more than this :( that sucks :( Update: i own it almost a year ago and after macerating the longevity and sillage are more powerful. I can smell it after 7-8 hours wich is super! Mixed with light blue you ll get the older version of it.

I have and love most of the Light Blue fragrances and this is just as crisp and refreshing as the others. But, that being said, it really reminds me of and smells almost identical to Tom Ford Neroli Portofino which I love but is out of my price range! This is lovely and I bought a small bottle. I would say it's a perfect light summer scent but there's no reason you can't wear it all year round. Definitely a fresh scent.

I’m dating a guy that smells DIVINE 😍 the other day I was sniffing his neck and I was hypnotized by his scent. I asked him what he was wearing, because it did smelled familiar, and for my surprise he told me it was this and that he wears women’s perfume. It is SO DAMN GOOD on a man. I’m all in that perfume should not be categorized for genders and I love that he loves wearing women perfumes, that’s such a plot twist 🩵

Is truly feminine and beautiful, really appealing!!. Is like an improved regular Light Blue, starts kind and softly with the apple - lemon really characteristic of its success, but much more creamy and smoother, as it settles the floral edge gives a gentle sweet aura, really giving a womanly side. Controlled and balanced, without any gourmand excess, is marvelous!!, great creation, being Light Blue, upgraded.

I have the Intense. I love it. So yes, I fancied her name. I love her. Blast of lemon. Woke me up then chords of the line of Light Blue which I adore. Lots of floral. Chills out musky, touch of tart lemon and subtle florals. I'm a over sprayer. 4 hours on, skin close on me now.Lovely for someone close to you, gorgeous for you. Dipping my nose and wafting my PJ top. It's a yes for me.

I tried this on at Sephora. I left the store and couldn't stop thinking about it. Also it stayed with me for a really long time. Now I own it. It's similar to the light blue intense that I own and love, however it has more of a clean, sweet vibe to it. Maybe that's because it has the cashmeran note in it. It's a nice variation of the Dolce and Gabanna light blue fragrances.

I love Light Blue, and the intense is incredible and then when I saw this something spoke to me! So I always have a bottle of the original or intense but it was running low so I bought this one instead and I’m so glad I did. I love it! It does last longer than the original one does. Such a clean, fresh, bright aquatic scent. God I just love the whole light blue line!!

I prefere this over the original which is too simple and boring for me. This one has a summery twist. Smells exactly like fresh squeezed lemon and lemon zest .. does not smell artificial at all! and mixed with a little white flower and wood. Its so fresh and when the white flower goes away you smell just lemons ! I love that .. Perfect for Europian vacation

Just picked up a small bottle after testing this at Ulta. It REALLY reminds of Neroli Portofino by Tom Ford - however much more affordable which is why I bought it. I like it and it's slightly more pungent that Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino however it still has that fresh, fruity, citrusy aroma about it.

Maybe you have to be a big lover of the citrus floral category to pick up on how different this is from the OG. This is quite a bit sweeter, but it’s a particularly sophisticated type of sweetness that any age can easily wear. I think it’s the ratio of green apple. To me this is just pure magic.

People are talking about this scent having elements of neroli and smelling similar to Tom Ford Neroli Portofino, which I had. I do not get TF Neroli Portofino AT ALL from this. And I get zero neroli in this scent on paper. Its all heady (but pretty) white floral, sugar and citrus for me.

Orange blossoms jumped inside me what a fabulous representation For hot weather. The smell is modern and not dizzying There's a little sweetness and smells a little sour. The perfect composition And then I fell in love with this smell for a while. Wow 10/10/10 absolutely beautiful

This is my favourite from the Light Blue lineup, im a man but i love this one. Its such a refreshing, bright, and a happy summer smell. Its really sour and powdery and it really clings deep in to your nose. I think it is so unappreacited. Guys give it a second chance!

Best light blue so far 💙 Unfortunately it doesn't projects well and it doesn't have a good lasting power even sprayed on clothes. Otherwise the scents is very fresh, so lemony, citrusy....it's amazing for summer time or summer night date. Loving it 😍

On paper, this starts very pretty w medium prominence of citrus, that is mixed w sugar and white flowers with a solid wood backdrop. In about 2 hours its all heady white flowers mixed w very little citrus. I want dominant citrus and this is not it.

this perfume is definitely sweeter and fruitier smelling than the classic Light Blue, less citrus and more white floral than the original but in a good way. it smells like a coastal Italian summer. A very feminine scent, definitely a love of mine

Yummm. This takes the classic light blue scent and bolsters it with by fresh orange blossom. This is my only orange blossom perfume that leans aquatic and fresh rather than powdery and sweet or sweet/spicy. I really love it.

Smells very very similar to Tom Ford's Neroli portofino. Perfect for hot weather, gorgeous cent that I cannot stop smelling on my wrist, lasts. Changes. Is beautiful and conplex. My next fragrance purchase. Divine.

I’m not a big fan of the original Light Blue. This perfume really surprised me. It’s bright and sunny. Perfect for hot summer days. Longevity is not eternal but it lasts about 4/5 hours on my Skin.

A burst of strong lemon when sprayed the scent fades away quickly on me 😞 Longevity i got 2hrs i will try again since its a new baby to my small family. Sillage was moderate for the 2hrs it latest.

Ah it reminds mi of warm summer beach nights. Fresh but sweet, besides of citrus scent, you can feel warm sweet notes. It's not powerful scent, but it is long lasting and beautiful at dry down.

This is my first perfume, it's very pleasant and citrusy. I would say it's even the citrus perfume. Definitely a summery fresh perfume. Reminds me of a light summer breeze under a lemon tree.

I tried it on store, fell in love 😍 Then bought a big bottle (not so much love 🤭) But out of the D&G's Light Blues this is my favorite Way better than the intense

For me it is the best version of Light Blue. Very modern, but still the same masterpiece. Slightly sweeter, but also with 3D effect.

This perfume makes you fall in love with summer just because you can wear it in such weather and enjoy it all day long.

I get bergamot with fruity herbal cannabis on my skin. I'm obsessed with this light blue flanker, its my fav so far.

The most beautiful summer scent and, in my opinion, the finest Light Blue.

If you have worn Light Blue perfumes and have had trouble with silage and longevity, this particular Light Blue is supposed to be created to fill that gap. I sprayed a quick spritz of this on at a retail store 11-12 hours ago, and this is STILL ON... You can actually STILL SMELL THIS! Wow! Game Changer! This has the same lemon freshness that I have smelled with other Light Blue formulas, the perfume itself is very nice. The problem I had had with this line of perfumes, the performance was simply NOT THERE. Well, it looks like they have resolved this issue. This projects much better and actually STAYS ON over 11-12 hours! Eureka! Maybe more perfumes will follow this pattern to SUCCESS! ------------ I've just recently discovered some perfumes by Dolce & Gabanna. Light Blue has been a perfume that I have spritzed before, but was not interested in based on performance. I simply LOVE D&G's L'Imperatrice 3 which is a sweet, fruity blend which lasts an hour or two on my skin. I am just now trying "The One", which is a beautiful sunshine-y type perfume - this also wears softer with less longevity than I really like in a perfume. The perfume is beautiful on, but this is missing the mark for a true signature perfume for me due to it not lasting more than a couple of hours. I spray this one once, then feel a need to refresh every hour or so where it maintains some level of strength. I have had the same issue with L'Imperatrice 3... I love the smell of the perfume, but every hour - I want to re-spray to keep the perfume lasting longer. Perhaps if they have created a formula for Light Blue where it stays on this length of time, they could also find a way to extend the longevity of L'Imperatrice 3 and The One!

I've been looking for a super fresh lemon/citrus summer fragrance to wear everyday to help with the hot days ahead. I already had my long list but almost all the perfumes I searched for weren't in the mainstream physical stores (Sephora, Douglas etc.) so after having tried many, I fell in love with this one (but read till the end, because it wasn't a good experience unfortunately). As soon as you spray it, you get punched -in the best way possible- by a sour and fresh mix of lemon, mandarin (I don't really smell blood orange) and then green apple. It takes you with it to the Italian riviera, it's still sophisticated and after a couple of minutes you can smell the white flowers underneath. I don't know if it's because my signature scent is L'Interdit Intense by Givenchy, but I found the sillage of Light Blue Forever D&G REALLY WEAK and the longevity even weaker, if it's possible. I have to literally spray it 10 times (wrists, elbows, decolté, behing knees, behind ears, behind neck) for someone to be able to smell it at a decent distance (that is not having their nose 2cm from my skin). And after 2/3hours it's completely GONE. DISAPPEARED. I don't know if it's my skin (though I've never had any "problem" with other perfumes), or if it's a faulty batch, but I'm 100% sure it's not a fake one because I bought it at Sephora. I won't buy it again, but I'm frustrated cause I LOVE THE SCENT ugh!!!!!!! I'll still be using it everyday to freshen up!

Imagine you’re fresh out of the shower on a summer morning and you lather yourself in a TF Neroli Portofino scented body butter, maybe even a quick spritz of NPA on each arm, then get dressed in a pair of shorts and simple white tank and sandals. Just before leaving, you moderately spritz yourself with D&G Light Blue Italian Zest and head out the door. This is what Forever smells like. At least initially. 30+ minutes later, TF always begins drying down to an expensive soapy, clean, delicious beach house vacation scent on me. Not tropical, but it reminds me so much of growing up spending summers on Martha’s Vineyard, MA. On the other hand, Forever gets sweeter (floral sweet, orange blossom ish plus other non-saccharine sweet florals) plus the lemony dry down of OG Light Blue and less Italian Zest. It’s not as intense as IZ or even straight up OG light blue or intense version, but the lemon freshness is there yet it’s cut by the sweet floral. There is still similarity between Forever and NP but when sniffed side by side the differences are far more detectable. Namely bc of that zesty lemon!

I was in the store and trying to decide between Light Blue and Light Blue Intense because I like citrus and apple. I picked this one up and it smelled somehow more rounded out and less sharp. More pleasant to my overloaded nose. So I got the travel spray. Took it home and smelled it again and realized that the thing I was smelling that rounded it out was the jasmine. I am not a big fan of jasmine. I think it must be my grandmother's influence. She always smells aggressively floral and is the whole reason I thought I hated perfumes in the first place, when it turns out I just hate THAT kind of perfume. Now all I can smell is jasmine. Fortunately, it is not aggressively floral. As a Chinese person, I tend to associate that smell with jasmine tea, so if I think of myself as smelling like tea, it becomes relatively relaxing. I think I can still make use of it, but I am glad I did not get a full bottle.
