The One Eau de Toilette

Decided to test this at Priceline yesterday, it was nice. That's about it. Well..it was actually VERY nice, for about 2 hours..then it just became a suffocating peach bomb annoyance. Im not a fruity fragrance kind of girl, but peach and plum are my two fruit notes that i actually do quite like; given that the peach is done right as it can be loud and cloying if poorly done ( beyonce heat, burberry body.. imo anyway) I was after a plummy fragrance, one with the velvety thickness of Avons Imari seduction, just with a bit more depth. I didnt realise till later that i tried the one missing the plum note lol darnit. It comes on as a fizzy fruity burst that quickly becomes very creamy and sweet, it kind of made me think of apricots and ice cream even though apricot isnt even listed. Theres a fresh greenish, slightly aquatic note in there stopping it from going full sugar overload thankfully; perhaps the lily of the valley. This is pretty much how it stayed for a good 4 or 5 hours till i could bare it no longer and tried to scrub it off, even thhen it remained still; choking out my other perfume i already had on into nothingness...its an edt so i couldnt understand how it was so heavy! It seemed very familiar to me, like something i know ide smelled years ago as a teen, maybe one of those designers dupes they sell at the chemist, i dunno... It was ok, as far as fruity scents go, but i wasn't wowed enough to pay over 100 for it, at all.

The One eau de parfum has been a long time favourite of mine. I'm a big oriental fragrance lover, probably my favourite fragrance category of perfume. 90% of the time an oriental fragrance is a love for me. I have been waiting to test this perfume out and I finally got a sample of this today. The new The One eau de toilette is no different. I love that the bottle of this fragrance is sleeker and taller as bottles really do make a difference for me. Very reminiscent of the parfum, the toilette still embodies the sensuality and enchanting femininity of the parfum, but with a twist of freshness. Lily, amber, vanilla all blend impeccably together and keep dancing around on my skin. Each time I sniff my wrist I smell a different note peaking through in the background but the fragrance still holding it's strong character. If you are a fan of "The one" you will definitely enjoy this! If you are new to "The One" but would like a feminine, sensual fragrance I recommend you to check this out! xx P.S. The one is a fragrance I really enjoy using during the autumn and winter months and now that autumn is approaching again it is the perfect time to get this fragrance if you are looking for something new and think that this fragrance is up your alley!

It's lily!!! Oh, it's LILY!!! Oh happy day!! I finally found you! It's one of the prettiest lilies out there, why isn't it marketed/communicated more as such? It's a gorgeous rich voluptuous and true to life lily that it's a pity that more lily lovers don't know about it. Even I almost missed it, coz for some reason I was under the impression it's an almond-orange blossom concoction. How wrong was I! I love lilies, but there aren't too many lily-perfumes out there (except for Baiser Vole which can be too vegetal/peppery and Lys Soleia which is very sweet, reminiscent of ylang-ylang more than a lily). So I'm over the moon happy to have found this little gem. Firstly, it's a voluptuous mid-day full bloom lily, but it's much more than that. I can also detect the delicate lily-of-the-valley and sweet ylang-ylang, musk, woods. The base is creamy and rich with amber and vanilla base. Delicious and beautifully feminine! To my nose the scent is time exotic and sunny, sexy and cozy at the same, it makes me happy and relaxed. It's a love for me.

So i found a 50ml bottle for a reasonable price..i caved and bought it. Its a good spray as you rush out the door scent, not strong or interesting enough for a night out( IMO) But it is easy to wear on a sunny day; it has a summery vibe to it for me, fluffy peaches and cream. It lasts fairtly well for an edt too, i sometimes wonder if testers are more concentrated, as wjen i try in store and when ive bought tester bottles of fragrances in the past as well and they seem to last ages. Any edt that lasts 2 days on clothes is a winner in my book. Update: Ive actually fallen rather hard for this fragrance, not usually one for overly fruity scents; ive come to really love this one. I think the fact that its fruity yes, but not synthetically sugary sweet is what makes me love it. In warm weather, that juicy, creamy aroma is just delicious i actually find myself craving it! I bought the edp online cos im just weak when it comes to online shopping lol. But i am definitely surprised at how good i find this

This is just beautiful! My friend leaned in to kiss me and said I love how you smell! What is it? My husband loves it and says it suits me so much! It's sweet without being too sweet. This smells medicinal/not so good just sniffing the bottle. You have to spray it and give it 5 minutes and let the magic happen. The more it settles the more sensual and lovely it gets! You won't regret it! Suitable for day/night time its light enough for day but sensual enough for night and smells very unique and in expensive in my opinion. I find the EDP sweeter and heavier and more suitable for night compared to this one and more syrupy. This is a winner in my book!

This is sooooo good. I really love it just as much as I do the edp. A lovely fruity floral. It is so creamy and smooth. All the floral notes, with Lily the most prominent, are beautifully blended with peachy mandarin vanilla cream. It's absolutely yummy! While bordering gourmand, it's not quite there. Though both versions have litchi, thankfully I can't smell it outright, but it is adding to the overall fruitiness and also a freshness. The orange blossom is adding a little spiciness, and the amber and sandalwood silkiness and depth. Though this isn't groundbreaking, and has been done before, here I think it is done exceptionally well.

I didn't go crazy for The One edp but with this version I felt in love with this fragrance. I found in it the reason of its advertisement: it embodies the solar, energetic, passionate and extroversal personality of Neapolitans women. This is a very classical feminine fragrance with a sensual exotic accent that remind me the fruits you can find in a south Italian noble garden. While the edp it's too much in summer, this can go in all seasons due to its versatility, even if I'd chose it for spring daytime; it is fresh and warm at the same time... I just like it! Ask pardon for any mistakes with English.

I tried The One EDP, not expecting it to be my thing, and thought it was ok. Then I tried The One EDT - again not expecting it to be my thing - and had a bit of a “wow” moment. It is glorious. Peachy, lily that is smooth, soft and a little sexy. Beautifully blended notes. Vanilla dry down that isn’t boring. Has (unfortunately) become full bottle worthy for me, at a time when I’m trying not to buy more fragrances - so that probably conveys how much it got under (or onto) my skin. Just so pretty. EDT for the win from this family of fragrances.

I have it for one week and I can say, this is my favorite mainstream parfume! Very beautifule and feminim, a little darker but for 10-20 degrees it is perfect choice. I love peach and lily fragrance that's why it is so good for me. Longevity is average, on me 2-3 hours with good sillage after then it becomes skinscent but last until the end of the day.I feel very good and beautifule wit it.It is not a girly perfume, I think above 30. BIG LOVE!!!

Less of a dense vanillabomb, more sparkly, uplifting, and subtly more floral than the EDP. Don't get me wrong, I love a good vanillabomb! And I really do enjoy the EDP, but the EDT is a lovely go-to in spring and summer. I think if you're on a budget and only going to buy one of the two, I'd recommend this one. It can serve as a year-round fragrance, while the parfum is a bit much in July, even here in the mountains.

I smelled the EdT first and loved it a lot. A really deep and thick vanilla floral, without being heavy or too syrupy sweet. So seductive and sensual. Since I found that the performance wasn't too great (still okay though), I got the EdP. I also love wearing the EdP, especially now in the cold months, but I find it to be heavier and a not as well rounded. The EdT for me is the true winner!

I really have grown to love this, an unlikely love since its not overly complex and is quite tame really but the lasting power and projection is phenomenal for an eau de toilette. I really like the edp as well but i actually find the lasting power very poor; this is the first edt for me thats ever lasted longer than its edp version.

This is sooo smooth, warm and creamy scent. Nothing stands out here. All of the notes are harmonically dancing together. No need to wait for the stage you like. Immediately opens up beauty of flower gardens that are blossoming and vanilla that is so yummy here. Longevity is ok..I enjoy it.. although it could have been longer))

I adore this fragrance, it's stunning. Very feminine and light yet has a little kick with the ylang-ylang. I find this a rather unique fragrance, which considering the notes on paper look nothing special, it really is very charming. I prefer the EDT. Lighter yet longer lasting on me.

Whoah! What just happened? On paper this should be nightmare fuel for me - all that fruit... peach (blech), vetiver (ick), litchi (yuk). And it's a sweet, mass-market, mainstream designer floral frag for women. Almost everything I disdain in a single bottle. I really, really, really liked it. Mostly for the opening burst of stonkingly realistic, strong and accurate lily, which is simply beautiful (as long as you like lily - it's so very true to life that lily-loathers will also hate this.) I was hugely impressed by how big and organic-seeming this phase was - totally against my own inclinations, I kept resmelling and thinking "wow, who'd have guessed this could be so good?" The only reason it's not a straight-ahead love or a likely full-bottle buy, for me, is that after a couple of hours the lily is burnt off and what's left is a perfectly pleasant and engaging but pretty generic amber/vanilla/white flower mix, nothing obnoxious but nothing remarkable either. So: give this a chance. It may surprise you, and it does something not many 'fumes do. Lily lovers should run to try it out.

I’ve been wearing this for a week now, and I’m impressed. When I heard that this was a sweet fragrance, I was expecting the all-too-common sweet designer fragrance with a powdery vanilla. This wasn’t that at all. On my skin, there is little sweetness, and the only notes that I can really detect are the lilies and the ylang ylang. I don’t get any of the fruit notes that are listed here. This is a weird yellow/white floral, though. There is the bubblegum aspect that shows on most florals of this type, but the little sweetness I can detect from it gives it a really buttery feel to it. It kind of smells like butter which is not what I expected. The longevity is great, outperforming some of my Chanels, and that was pleasing since I didn’t expect that from an edt. Two sprays at the most, since it is a potent scent. For the same reason, I would not wear this on a hot summer day, as I would imagine it to get cloying. Overall great scent.

I have the EDT rollerball version. This is a very pleasing, gently spiced skin scent on me. The mandarin orange, bergamot, yellow florals, amber, and musk notes are the most prominent to me. I feel like I’m picking up a sandalwood note even though it isn’t listed. I don’t pick up much vanilla on my skin. Mainly just a lightly spiced orange/amber blend with hints of yellow florals... This fragrance is spicy enough to rock in colder months, but soft enough to wear during the day or to the office, too. Update: After an hour of wear time, the vanilla note has started to come through. Now it smells a bit like an orange creamsicle skin scent with a very faint dry sandalwood note in the background. Very, very light and very pretty. The spices have almost sizzled out, but this gorgeous (almost on the verge of Christmas-y) orangey/citrus note is still there.

They are just starting to sell this at the Bloomingdale's in NYC. I was there today and sampled this on my skin. It's definitely a softer version of the EDP which came out years ago and which I used to wear/own. This is a very ambered vanilla rounded out by the presence of soft juicy fruits, mostly the tangy ones - white peach, mandarin orange, bergamot and litchi. The kind of fruits that make your mouth pucker, yet this frag is so heavy on the vanilla/amber that they're quite tamed. I don't get much of the earthy stuff at all - no moss, musk, or vetiver here. The white flowers are also very much background players; the flowers that stand out here are the ylang and lily, and even those are there only quietly. Overall a nice fragrance, not too groundbreaking, maybe more a daytime version of The One EDP. Good projection/sillage, and lasts well.

I ignored this fragrance for some time since I thought it would be too similar with the Edp- even the bottles are very similar. But secretly I was hoping I'm wrong. And I'm so glad I was. This is different from the Edp. It wasn't love at first sniff, but it was maybe third try when I realized it's beautiful floral character. I think this is very versatile, it suits almost every occasion and season- a true signature scent. It's also long lasting for an Edt. So I was mesmerized by the lovely lily note that stays prominent from top to base accompanied with other notes familiar from the Edp. I think this should have named Lily the One (like Rose the One) !

This is so similar to the EDP, I can barely tell a difference. I get a little more sparkling in the opening but then, within 10-15 minutes it turns into the original EDP, which I love! It's light, dreamy, very feminine. A Beautiful white floral, peachy, vanilla lily with a creamy jasmine mix. It's got a touch more floral and a bit less vanilla and dries down a bit more flat with less citrus, but the two are very similar. As expected, EDP lasts longer with a stronger projection, while EDT becomes a skin scent sooner, but lingers for hours! I'm a fan of light, elegant florals and love it!

i got it as a gift and i liked it. it has nothing to do with the original one. it is so soft and light. very floral and i could easily detect jasmine. it is very good for sleep times i think, it might promote sleep and enhance relief because i love to wear very light floral jasmine perfumes before i go to sleep, this one will make feel i am in the center of a garden nearby the small fountains... it is floral & watery... it took me to Oslo but don't ask me why, i myself don't know why... may be because it is so floral and watery as well!!!

I'm honestly surprised that bubblegum isn't a note here because I'm getting it very strongly. I smell none of the fruit notes. Plenty of amber and vanilla. Maybe a small hint of ylang ylang. This is a very strong, very unique scent that will not be for everyone. Personally, I think it's fun (if not very complex) and smells just like bubblegum and vanilla. Maybe not worth the price, but it's a unique choice for your perfume arsenal.

This is such a nice perfume! It's a shame it's discontinued. It's very similar to the EdP, but this isn't as thick and it's more fresh. More suitable for warmer weather and all occasions. The notes are very well blended and to me, it has the perfect balance between sweetness and florals. I think you have to like lily to like this though. Lasts a decent time on me, I would say it performs more like an EdP.

This is heavier yet lighter than the original 🥴 I'll explain ...... The vanilla here is heavier , more chalky ( if that makes scene ) Still cakey sweet & fruity like the OG It's a hot day here in Sydney, yet this perfume (being an EDT) managed to stay put together & did not cloy like it's EDP Nicely done Dolce& Gabbana 👏🏻

On my skin is the EdP and the EdT the same. Loud, warm, intensive and breathtaking. 1 spray is almost to much so I do 1 spray in my t-shirt evening before using - then it becomes a nice comforting scent. Longlived and massive projection.

I wanna know what people are smelling because this is not the vanilla bomb I was expecting, this is just lily with some other grandma flower, shame... boring

Very similar to the original of the line and the essence. They just don't work for me. I prefer The One Gold which I own. That one has more of a focus on rose and I really adore The One Rose and I owned about 1/2ounce in samples but I used them all. I would buy that again if I could. This one and the original just have a spoiled smell to them I can't get passed.

I feel lily, ylang-ylang and a lot of honey-sugary sweetness. It does not smell bad. But it does smell too much. It is very well the same direction as J'Adore. In an elbow-to-elbow comparison J'Adore smells fresher and The One smells more sugary.

I wasn't crazy about the siirupy vanilla in edp, but this version is lighter, fresher, very similar to The One l' Eau which I enjoyed..so in truth, same scent, only lighter, I don't detect much of a floral vibe in it..,but it is overall for my nose a better perfume...even if it is still about that rich golden vanilla, not so amplified this time.... Is this a flanker that adds much? I don't believe it does...if you didn't like EDP, I doubt you would like this version..for me, it is like ok, nothing outstanding here !!

I don't like it. Not surprised, because I didn't like the original. Still, was hoping for something different. It smells just like the EDP version to me. I sense a little bit peach and all sorts of floral notes. Some musk, oakmoss and vetiver too. Too dark for my taste. Smells even masculine in some way. Not for me.

Hmm...I don't like it. To me it smells like stale flower bouquet. I think it's the ylang-ylang that gives me that feeling. This is more yellow flower than white flowers. So if you don't like yellow flower perfumes this is not a safe blind purchase for you.

For me this is a purely jasmine fragrance. I do like jasmine, but this is too much and rather synthetic.

Very peachy, warm, amber, similar to EDP. Not for me.

Im warning you; a bunch of nothing ... it’s got no personality every note is pulling in a different direction and it’s afraid to be anything at all. Weak, boring, and actually unpleasant. I was suckered in by the bottle, I expected something nicer, classier... but this smells sooo cheap IMO Ariana grande or Juicy couture smells 1,000x better and even more grown up than this. This smells like a perfume from the dollar tree, that nasty cheap synthetic smell, it should be in a plastic bottle. What were they thinking!! The juice doesn’t deserve that beautiful bottle!!!

Let's just say it's not "The One" for me. :| It starts out somewhat medicinal, and this combination of florals smells thick and dated to my nose. It's far too heavy for me personally.

i dont like it on me, it is a little heavy, but i think it would work well on someone that is maybe around 30-40 years old, cause it is strong and has a hint of "old"

After so many years they decided "to make" The One relevant again with the addition of an eau de toilette version. A completely unecessary move as the edp version of it is already weak and the edt doesn't seem to perform better. Scentwise they are too damn close; if you have the one you don't need the other. The same sickly opening, but thinner, the same sweet fruity pureé with the lily being more predominant in the edt. In the drydown the blend seems more balanced and sheerer, and the fruit is tamer. Creamy and tropical smelling. A lovely summer option. A soft cuddly scent, a hug. The elongated bottle looks so classic up close, would be very beautiful standing on your modern boudoir furniture of choice. We also have the baroque edition on the way, let's hope it's not just a decoration of the bottle. Personally, I'm a bit indifferent towards it

It does remind the original EDP edition but...it really lacks it's glamourousness, it's character that makes it unique. With a deep breath I said: Yes, yes, this is "The One's" EDT edition but something is wrong. It's too light and linear, yet it could be worn for fun during winter. As I said before, The One EDP smells like greek summer. White clothes, tanned skin, golden accessories, flirty mood and a heavy sunscreen-ish, rich, creamy base that has a crazy sillage & lasting power. If I had to buy one, this would be either EDP edition or the Rose discontinued one. To see the positive side, The One EDP was the very first perfume that I found as 'it fills a room' but some people can't stand this, so EDT newest edition could save the day.

I'm surprised that the reviews so far are talking a lot about the vanilla and the fruits, to me this is a strong floral-based scent. I sprayed this on one arm and the original EDP on the other to do a better comparison, and while the original is very warm, deep, sweet and fruity/vanilla-like (with a lot going on), this EDT is lighter and like airy sweet white flowers. It instantly reminded me vaguely of J'Adore, and I don't think the The One EDT and EDP are too similar really. I do feel like the EDP is much more interesting and enjoyable. There's nothing wrong with the EDT really, but it smells quite generic, simpler and also not as sensual as the EDP. I'm sure a lot of people will enjoy it though, as it's pleasant and inoffensive.

A very modern take on a vintage note pyramid - certain notes like lillies, lilly of the valley, strong jasmine, oakmoss are old fashioned in themselves, but the fact that it's all mixed together with the peach ylang vetyver gives it a very old school vibe. It's also powdery so if it weren't so youthful in it's smell just by the notes I would think this is a vintage scent. But it's not of course as it was created recently - still nods to older scents, but the note qualities make this very wearable for younger people. Creamy, powdery, good fresh peach, slight tropical vibe from ylang lychee and jasmine, not too strong oakmoss. The lily and jasmine are still quite prominent.

Lots of Italian cliches just for the hell of it - bread, pasta, a living carnival on the streets and paraphernalia but in the end the perfume itself smells STATELESS. I mean it's a warm fruity/floral, very feminine, very peachy, but nothing more that that. Nothing so Italian and above all nothing new. With a re-issue I always expect something different, but here everything is pretty much the same except for the bottle and the advertising. By the way nobody uses that gesture (rubbing finger onto the cheek to say that the food is delicious) ever since the Allies reached Naples back in 1943. Absolutely stilted and outdated.

It has the same scent as The One or The One Essence but much lighter. It is a smell of peach and amber with a touch of lily, subtly sweet but not heavy at all. It has a moderate-soft projection and a very good duration for an EDT, about 8 hours on my skin. However, it seems dispensable in my collection having The One Essence, much deeper. It will please those who, enjoying its scent, are looking for a lighter option. Smell 7.5/10 Duration 8/10 Sillage 6.5/10 Quality/price 6/10 Versatility 8/10 Packaging 7/10 Would I buy again? I did not buy it

Sweet cream put on scratchy vetiver moss. This is somewhat vintage-y, classic, but it's sweet and vanilla-aromatic side seems modern. Not too much, not too less floral. Creamy. Bit old-powdery. This scent is similar as bottles color and design. It's... interesting. Mixed vintage-y with modern. Luxurious hotel. For lady that have some character and she knows what she wants, thou she have her sweet side. Maybe sometimes she's too sweet. Confidently genteel sexy. Quite strong perfume, be careful how much to spray. Bit heavy. For woman 30+.

I didn't like this one at all, but I'll review what I picked up. On my skin, I get the most photorealistic white Easter lilies ever plus orange blossom, lychee and a drop of vanilla. I also pick up something like peach yogurt almost, it's not exactly that, but whatever it is don't like it. The notes feel out of harmony. Is this trying to be a refreshing EDT? Or is it a stripped down version of EDP lacking something to round this out? I just don't know. The experience doesn't make me want to try EDP to find out.
