DKNY 24/7

This took me by surprise - I was expecting more green in the same vein as DKNY Woman but it’s not as ‘cold’. I don’t think I really know what quince smells like, but I get a lot of rose and rhubarb, without it going too floral or sour. It performs decently - a few hours on me, not too loud, not too soft. This is going to be an excellent grab-and-go perfume for days where you don’t want to announce your appearance or attract attention, and just want to smell like a nice, clean, fragrant, inoffensive human. It won’t suit my every mood, but I’m pleased I now own it. Edit: I love wearing this. An excellent perfume for the price you can find it (esp. in the UK). Lasts a decent time, fruity and bright, lifts my mood. The bottle is annoying but I forgive them for the crime.

Someone described this as a metallic rose which i looove, so accurate to this scent. I feel a sort of apple/pear hybrid with sugary crumbly white flesh and lots of fresh juice. And the rose underpins that mixture to make it a little more mature. 7.9/10 deffo!

This is certainly unisex! Metallic rose is very clean.Use it for gym !!!

16. August 2024 They have it in stores now, so naturally i had to test it. I did a paper strip and skin wear test. I actually really really like it. Im surprised to discover it has tuberose, im a huge lover of tuberose, to my nose i sensed more of a sugar candied gardenia with ambroxane and jasmine overdose. There is definitely a rose there, just like the sugar candy rose, but it is softened by jasmine and ambroxan. Yes, there is a touch of pink pepper and musk and it does smell synthetic at first, something like a chewing gum, yet not overly synthetic. In the and i do like very much how it turns out on my skin, not so much on paper. It does smell like a distant cousin of discountinued Mugler's "Aura", thanks to strong rhubarb note. You just cannot oversee the similarities here with Aura, so dont mind the "remind me of... " section, its all wrong! No washing detergent whatsoever in here. I also would not call it fresh at all. Great lasting power, i can still clearly smell it on my wrist 10 hours later. And i do like the bottle, finally something not plain or minimalistic. Good job DKNY this time! Im getting a bottle and a back up. ---------------------- UPDATE (few weeks later): I am still loving it very much, it is so yummy. I also have figured out why i like it: it ́s smell reminds me of the taste of the chewing candies we have here in stores and when you go to local cinemas. These are utterly artificial tasting small chewing candies in green, red and yellow colors and i love them, even though i now they are bad. That is why i think i also adore this scent, it is yummy indeed. I also was going through my vintage bottles and found a very vintage "united colors of Benetton" edt, the one that listed here as "original" in clear bottle with colorful lettering on each side, sprayed it on and it instantly smelled like this new DKNY, but less synthetic. That Benetton also is linked to smell like Mugler's "Aura" and i totally agree, it has a similar scent. So these 3 are somewhat connected. Once you smell them you cannot unsee the similarities, they are like distant cousins.

Zingy fruity and sweet, up front rose. I’m definitely not the target demographic but I do think this is a blessed evolution from the completely generic churn of fruity florals that exhaust supermarket and drugstore shelves. It’s not a revelation but a move in the right direction for a designer scent. The scent itself is upbeat and made me think of commodity Juice, not a similar scent but that strong fruit tartness, here of rhubarb, coupled with a sweetness. There’s almost a grape soda vibe on me. Rose is there and is very synthetic but it suits the overall composition. I get very little pepper in the blend when I wear it. It’s powerful on application and dry down. I got about six hours of notable wear then skin scent till evening shower. I wouldn’t purchase because it’s just a little too synthetic. I did reflect whether I would if this juice was in a CDG bottle and was I being a snob but I don’t think it’s that. It’s a try before buy but it’s fun, punchy and somebody’s next signature scent.

Can't stop reaching for this at the moment. A blind buy because it's Frank Voelkl who made my beloved glossier you and I'm really into rose perfumes at the moment. Plus it's such an unusual list of notes and it was not just affordable, but actually cheap. It's in the same profile of Delina and also is reminiscent, to me, of Zara Fashionably London (which I love on others but find a bit over powering on myself). But they are definitely not the same, more like cousins. Anyway the more I've worn in the more I've grown to love it. The opening isn't like anything else I own, I definitely get the pink pepper, the rhubarb, and something synthetic and strange which is quite intriguing. Dry down is a comforting woody, rose musk. I can see why they chose 24/7 as the name, the brightness in the morning to get you through the day, and the warmer elements that come out for evening. Interesting idea. Will be wearing this for a while! Lastly, why are all the "reminds me of" random Avon perfumes?

I had this on my possible list since it came out. I knew the price would come down eventually and it did. I snagged a 100ml for £20, Savers online UK if anyone fancys a bargain ! This is what I do with new releases, wait for the prices to fall. Blind buy as nowhere to test. The perfume bottle is great, very futuristic! Its looking good next to my Ungaro Cosmic (and Ungaro Moon will be my next Blind Buy as the prices are already falling) . However the perfume is a like , not a love. I thought that a sour/Sharp/green/fruity frag would be right up my street. It is , in a way, but there's something extremely synthetic/hairspray-ish thats really bothering me !! I love the fruity rhubarb, rose and green facets..... Not a safe blind buy. It would be perfect without the harsh hairspray note.

Recent blind buy: DKNY 24/7. Got it on clearance at Marshalls for $16 (30mL). I read mixed reviews but liked the price and the look (the true silver hourglass bottle shape and not the ubiquitous glass vial), so I took a swing. It starts out as a basic rose floral (fresh, soft, sweet, a little too familiar), but then you get tangy rhubarb and dynamic quince that STAYS. The fact that the floral scent falls back and allows the fruit to lead is so nice and makes it unique when I get my shirt wafts. Almost like grapefruit but without the B.O. Bitter, fresh, acidic, and still gentle. Even a bit tropical (is this papaya? Guava? No, it’s quince! Mmmm.) Overall a 6.5/10 because of the rather dull opening.

It's decent, and does well at its price point. It smells a little like a simplified Vaara by Penhaligons or Rhubarb and Rose by Miller Harris (shocking I'm sure). There is a tiny bit of a Delina meets Hermes Twiliy Eau Poivrée vibe here too, but not as much. If you like fresh and mildly fruity and spicy rose this is very good. I got my bottle of 30ml for £14 and every scent I just listed is far,far,far higher. I think this scent is going to be discontinued soon, so get it if you're interested. Nothing offical has been said, but the discounts are quite steep for something that come out in 2024.

I would not wear it myself, but if I had a teenage daughter I would probably buy her a bottle. Pushing 40, I feel a little bit too mature for this one. I am not the target group. Really nice scent, though! Update: When it settles, it is a really lovely, soft, comforting scent. The synthetic, fruity teenage vibe is all gone. I think I am going to buy a bottle! Great price aswell. Might become a new favourite!

Safe for blind-buy. Nothing too new but it is a everybody loves type of scent especially for younger ones. Clean, soft floral, rose but not that dominant and i can feel the rhubarb note. Sometimes you feel like you smell basic but clean and soft feminen, it is for those moments. Longevity is ok on clothes but i don’t feel the smell that much on me.

today i smelled this on someone and it was almost identical to the now discontinued moment de bonheur by yves rocher. insane nostalgia. i will find it in a store to try it on my skin, praying i was right

This smells similar to Givenchy Irresistible Rose Velvet. More and more houses are creating a similar smelling fragrance. Perhaps this is our future craze or ...maybe not.

clean floral scent, would personally prefer without quince though as it was kinda tart.

Hmm. It's not bad. It's a clean laundry scent to me, without being overly fresh. It is definitely synthetic feeling, but not in a way that makes it unwearable to me. The tuberose here reminds me of the tuberose in Stella Pop - and. like Pop, this scent is also a tiny bit strange or at least evades easy classification. Bottom line - I'm undecided about this one. I wouldn't go out and buy a bottle of this right now but a mini might be fun to experiment with. I think this could possibly grow on me. The bottle unfortunately is very ugly in my opinion and also awkwardly shaped. The sprayer wasn't great either but that might just be the tester that I sampled this from.

bought this after smelling it on paper — came across as very musky, peppery, very woody, with a strong rose scent. however on my skin, it's initially very rhubarb forward, along with quince and green notes, so it overpowers the pepper a lot. definitely more youthful and tart/acidic fruity than you'd expect. it is a nice rose scent, just more subtle than expected. unfortunately the woody scents are a lot more subtle on my skin, so once it dries down, the green, quince, and rose fade and it turns into a barely-there woody musk rather quickly, along with some lingering rhubarb.

I love the rhubarb nuance, but I'm not sure about buying the whole bottle. If I would wear it, maybe with layering some vanilla scent.

I first noticed DKNY 24/7 when it was announced in fragrance news articles, and the unusual bottle immediately caught my attention. Recently, I remembered it again. By then, enough reviews had been posted for me to get a sense of what people thought about the fragrance, since I had never seen it available in stores. After reading through the reviews, I decided to buy it. The perfume arrived in a cardboard tube with the bottle inside. What surprised me most was the bottle's construction. The hourglass-shaped cap is made from the same glass as the bottle itself. Given its unusual shape, I expected something more elaborate, but in reality it just looks like a hollow glass container or a small vase. The biggest surprise came with the very first spray. I wasn't expecting it to smell like this at all. To me, it resembles Burberry London, but in a cheap, almost knockoff Chinese interpretation, or Hollister Canyon Escape for Women. I had expected something much more distinctive and interesting, so I was very disappointed. On my skin, this fragrance smells cheap and heavy. The tuberose and jasmine hit me far too aggressively, almost pounding at my temples. It even gives me a scratchy throat and sometimes a headache. Every now and then it reminds me of a bathroom air freshener - there are certain notes that evoke that kind of scent. I even tried using it as a room spray, but I didn't enjoy it that way either. It's simply too suffocating and overpowering. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a disappointing purchase. Based on its appearance and all the anticipation, I had imagined a completely different kind of fragrance.
