DKNY Be Extra Delicious

I also got the 30ml of this on sale at SDM for $19.99, and since it's been on my radar for a while now I was super excited and snatched it right up. I don't know what note(s) it is, I can't explain it, but it is absolutely addicting and intoxicating to me. I cannot stop smelling it, and it just gives me a sense of satisfaction and happiness when I smell it. Everything about the notes and even the actual scent tells me it's a very generic fruity floral that doesn't or shouldn't stand out in a crowd but here I am. I also know I have something similar in my collection already but I can't put my finger on it. I am thinking it's the ambroxan, I seem to gravitate towards that note but I am telling you, I am drawn to Be Extra Delicious like an addict. To the point that I'm debating going back and stocking up on back ups. It doesn't make logical sense! lol. The magic is in the scent I get from the projection and trail. That's when I detect the caramel and apple more distinctly Up close nose to skin, the pear and florals are more prominent. I gave it a good 4 generous sprays on my arm, having read the reviews about poor sillage, but on me it stayed for several hours (went to bed and still smelled it when I woke up) and projection was quite good.

Caramel apple (green apple), milky creamy goodness. An absolutely delicious & comforting scent. The initial spray is quite “perfume-y” but the drydown is DIVINE! Such creamy goodness! The sillage isn’t super strong with just one spray so I spray twice in my pulse points every several hours and the smell has not faded from my skin... it also lasts in my hair for over 12 hours! I got a 3.4 oz bottle for $54 on fragrancenet so I don’t mind frequent spritzing (: Speaking of spritzing though... I will admit that the one downside is the little sprayer is awful! Not sure if it’s just my bottle but good looooord is it ever difficult to depress the little tab correctly. I can only do it with the flattest part of my thumb, and the liquid itself then just sort of splats (and drips) all over the intended surface. Totally worth the annoyance for such a delectable scent though! This was a blind buy for me and I was blown away by how good it is!

I love this so much, such a juicy, fruity delicious scent. I really get the pear and caramel in this. The flowers mingle nicely in the background. It was a blind buy for me, if you like sweet fruity scents I would say this is a safe blind buy. I think this would be a very nice signature scent. As others have said though, the atomizer is horrible, it shoots out the perfum like a high preassure water cleaner lol. I have DKNY Be Delicious and Be Delicious Fresh Blossom and the atomizer is completely different, like a normal atomizer, and the silvery part is the cap, its way better. Does anyone know if they changed it for them aswell?

First Spritz: WOW ! Gorgeous. Fruity. Fresh. Vibrant. I love this immediately. What on Earth!? Why are people not raving about this? Dry Down after 20 minutes : Sweet Caramel Berry Musk. Gentle. Soft. Reminds me of Lolita Lempicka Sweet (which is masterful), and a tiny spritz of Lolita Lempicka's Mon Premier Parfum with hints of Ivy, Orris and Vetiver barely there. The scent sits about 2 inches off the skin. Non-offensive and a little offbeat with the green hint, while still staying in the soft sweet fruit/ light airy candy trend area of the 2020s. Beautiful.

Like so many others, I get a fresh blast of sweet apples. It is light and airy and just such a fresh, vibrant scent - just perfect for spring and summer sunshine! A winner, for me - it's just lovely! Edit: Just an additional comment, having worn this now several times - the dry down SO much reminds me of Victoria sponge cake. For me this is a bonus - I LOVE Victoria sponge cake. Lol
