DKNY Be Extra Delicious

I also got the 30ml of this on sale at SDM for $19.99, and since it's been on my radar for a while now I was super excited and snatched it right up. I don't know what note(s) it is, I can't explain it, but it is absolutely addicting and intoxicating to me. I cannot stop smelling it, and it just gives me a sense of satisfaction and happiness when I smell it. Everything about the notes and even the actual scent tells me it's a very generic fruity floral that doesn't or shouldn't stand out in a crowd but here I am. I also know I have something similar in my collection already but I can't put my finger on it. I am thinking it's the ambroxan, I seem to gravitate towards that note but I am telling you, I am drawn to Be Extra Delicious like an addict. To the point that I'm debating going back and stocking up on back ups. It doesn't make logical sense! lol. The magic is in the scent I get from the projection and trail. That's when I detect the caramel and apple more distinctly Up close nose to skin, the pear and florals are more prominent. I gave it a good 4 generous sprays on my arm, having read the reviews about poor sillage, but on me it stayed for several hours (went to bed and still smelled it when I woke up) and projection was quite good.

Caramel apple (green apple), milky creamy goodness. An absolutely delicious & comforting scent. The initial spray is quite “perfume-y” but the drydown is DIVINE! Such creamy goodness! The sillage isn’t super strong with just one spray so I spray twice in my pulse points every several hours and the smell has not faded from my skin... it also lasts in my hair for over 12 hours! I got a 3.4 oz bottle for $54 on fragrancenet so I don’t mind frequent spritzing (: Speaking of spritzing though... I will admit that the one downside is the little sprayer is awful! Not sure if it’s just my bottle but good looooord is it ever difficult to depress the little tab correctly. I can only do it with the flattest part of my thumb, and the liquid itself then just sort of splats (and drips) all over the intended surface. Totally worth the annoyance for such a delectable scent though! This was a blind buy for me and I was blown away by how good it is!

I love this so much, such a juicy, fruity delicious scent. I really get the pear and caramel in this. The flowers mingle nicely in the background. It was a blind buy for me, if you like sweet fruity scents I would say this is a safe blind buy. I think this would be a very nice signature scent. As others have said though, the atomizer is horrible, it shoots out the perfum like a high preassure water cleaner lol. I have DKNY Be Delicious and Be Delicious Fresh Blossom and the atomizer is completely different, like a normal atomizer, and the silvery part is the cap, its way better. Does anyone know if they changed it for them aswell?

First Spritz: WOW ! Gorgeous. Fruity. Fresh. Vibrant. I love this immediately. What on Earth!? Why are people not raving about this? Dry Down after 20 minutes : Sweet Caramel Berry Musk. Gentle. Soft. Reminds me of Lolita Lempicka Sweet (which is masterful), and a tiny spritz of Lolita Lempicka's Mon Premier Parfum with hints of Ivy, Orris and Vetiver barely there. The scent sits about 2 inches off the skin. Non-offensive and a little offbeat with the green hint, while still staying in the soft sweet fruit/ light airy candy trend area of the 2020s. Beautiful.

Like so many others, I get a fresh blast of sweet apples. It is light and airy and just such a fresh, vibrant scent - just perfect for spring and summer sunshine! A winner, for me - it's just lovely! Edit: Just an additional comment, having worn this now several times - the dry down SO much reminds me of Victoria sponge cake. For me this is a bonus - I LOVE Victoria sponge cake. Lol

I LOVE THIS ONE! what I get most is pear and raspberry with caramel. It’s a smooth caramel not cloying and too sweet, it’s sweet and juicy and has a nice freshness to it. It’s the perfect bedtime scent. Also a summer and spring gourmand. I got told once I smell like a lovely cookie. I wouldn’t get it again for the price tho bc it performes like an edt

This smells so delicious! The name is literally perfect in describing this scent. I get a whiff of full-on caramel apple from this perfume every time I spray it. It's so good! I don't think it's too cloying on me personally. If you like sugary sweet scents, this is a safe blind buy.

I got a 7 ml bottle of this from my friend for christmas (she got it for free at her work). Be extra delicious is certainly a delicious, fruity sweet scent that smells like a sugary pear. Definitely recommend trying it out if you are looking for a light inoffensive sweet fragrance.

Just tried this on for the first time today. I really get the black currant at first spray and it dries down to a yummy fruity sweet scent. But not to sweet. I also get some of the caramel. I will have to get a bottle of this soon.

Very nice! The only one in this range I like and might buy. Anything with pear and caramel is a go for me. It's pretty light however; I prefer Fancy by Jessica Simpson, which is deeper, more gourmand and much, much better priced.

It’s a combination of be delicious and bd fresh blossom , this however smells better and last longer , super sweet caramelly honey fruity floral gourmand 10/10 and i wish DKNY put 100ml as an option but no theres only 30ml

Had my WOW moment with this as well. Extra delicious for sure. Creamy, fruity, fresh, sweet amazingness. Bummer it doesn’t last longer but that’s usual with the type of scent. Worth it ! this is sooo yummy.

A fruity hairspray! That’s exactly what this smells like-a lightly fruity hairspray! Which I love that vibe as fresh fragrances are my jam! Great blind buy for 20 dollars

I love it, I really really love it ! When I spray it a sweet and juicy strawberry scent fills the room, but only for some minutes. :(

This is so yummy and reminds me a lot of Prada Candy. The caramel is the star and the apple plays a wonderful costar role. ☺️

IMHO this is a dupe of Paco Rabanne Lady Million edt.! Actually just in just! Which is compliment! This flanker succeeded!

I actually like this one more than the original green apple. It's truly yummy, sweet yet light.

Searching for new spring scents and a break from all the overly sweet gourmands flooding the market, I gave this a try. I get an initial sharp floral blast, but within just a couple minutes it warms and blooms into something soft, pleasant, and nice for spring at any age imho. I'm in my 40s and like this enough that I ordered a larger bottle for the upcoming spring and summer. If you find yourself aging out of the sticky sweet dessert and bright candy fruit scents, and want a warm season fragrance with no hint of sunscreen or coconut, this is a nice alternative once you let the bottle breathe. *EDIT* Love this on skin. I found that on fabrics it lingers until only the caramel note is left, giving a stale cookie vibe. Still a great wear, I just make sure to spray me and not my clothes. For a perfect drydown, I'm in love with Be 100% Delicious. It has all the beauty of this one with an elegant, rather than sweet, drydown.

Huh, I also get pear + cucumber water. Green and fresh, no caramel apple sweetness, no vanilla cake, nothing. It's not awful at all but miles from what I thought from reading the notes, I'm just not into freshies. I enjoy the OG and I think I might start collecting the bottles, so I think this'll stick around for a little while, it feels like a good after-shower or gym scent. Worth the blind buy from Ross although I wish I would have grabbed Fresh Blossom instead, since I chose this for the caramel. Projection and longevity are great, for some reason every single apple I've tried has been a monster on me.

Sooo fruity and almost juicy, the florals add depth nicely. I’m not getting caramel exactly, but there’s something delicious that rounds it up after a while. Green apple isn’t listed on the notes but I get hints of it! Overall, a fine fruity fresh feminine fragrance. (Tongue twister much... LOL) Kind of performs like EDT so price wise ehhh, for $40+ I’m a tiny bit disappointed... But I’ll definitely use it for the upcoming spring/summer! Hopefully maceration serves it right.

Caramel and Pear! I was given a sample at the local store and tested it right away I came home. I did not give it any attention, I did not smell it at all first, but when my hubby came home he said: "Hi, have you baked something, I smell sugared apples here!" Well, that was funny, cause I still could't smell this myself! So, I guess this is yummy and to me it is inoffensive, and definately lingers nicely nearby! I have to recommend:)!

fresh and fruity opening with the black currant and pear being most prominent, softens with sweet florals and then dries down to a musky caramel berry finish. A lovely everyday scent and lasts about 6hrs

Nice little caramel apple thing. I like it more than the other Be Delicious scents - it's got less of the sickly-aquatic thing going on, with the caramel and some sharp berry to cut it.

This is very pretty and non offensive. Good if you like sweet aromas that aren’t overpowering. The caramel is strong here and the main note I detect. Great for a teenager :)

Moderately sweet. Tart. I find fruits, I do not consider the composition flowery. More like a gourmet liquor

Picked it up for $20 at Burlington after having it on my blind buy wishlist for awhile. I was so intrigued by the caramel and raspberry notes, as well as the ambroxan because that usually amps up any fragrance I like. I’ve finally tried it on my skin, and am slightly disappointed. This smells like a light, fruity shampoo. But, it’s winter, so perhaps it will take some summer heat to make the caramel really bloom? I get pear and freesia in the opening as well as a watery smell. Peony and heliotrope follow, though I can’t really detect the gardenia. I was most looking forward to those caramel and raspberry notes, as I said, which I found none of. It maybe, maybe has a slight honeyed aspect in the dry down, but barely. Not to mention that I have to press my nose to my skin to smell this! I wish I had the same experience as those of you here who adore this fragrance. Will put it away and try again in the summer!

I received a free sample of it a few months ago. Tried it in cold weather, shrugged and put it away - not impressed, not even intrigued. Yesterday (heatwave) I gave is a go and oh my what a difference temperature ( and I'm sure humidity, wind etc.) can make! This smell is lovely, fresh and slightly sweet from the fruits and flowers, but miles away from being suffocating. Can easily be worn in the summer, light and uplifting, giving out a youthful and joyful vibe. I wouldn't give it an age limitation, it can be worn by anyone from 14 to 100. My problem is with the sillage (hardly any) and the longevity (1 hour max. liberally spraying). That's why I won't purchase it and I would have been very angry if I had paid any money for it.

Edit- Okay I forgot about this for a couple months and randomly decided to spray on my shirt on a day that I was looking to smell like shampoo. I layered this with the original be delicious and gingham gorgeous and it’s just so lovely. Definitely not a skin scent, on fabric it really does keep the sweet/ juiciness and that’s what balances the white floral. - Original- The opening is a gorgeous JUICY fruity delight! Unfortunately if sprayed on the skin that quickly goes way and turns into a very strong white floral/ gardenia heavy fragrance which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but I wish the opening stayed :( the dry down gave me a headache.

I have to downgrade my rating on this, sadly. There's a cucumbery calone-type smell to this that I find unpleasant. Or maybe I only like this in the winter. Today I'm disliking it. Strange, the notes appeal to me in other perfumes with similar profiles, so not sure what's different here. Like a jolly rancher but less enjoyable.

When I tested I didn't know the notes and at first it smelled like candy apple/toffee apple to me. I guess this was the assumption because of the shape of the bottle. It is a very fruity sweet with a very strong toffee/caramel note. It's cute and nice, would imagine it would be a good every day perfume, but not my cup of tea.

chemically cloying ... it wears better after several hours of settling in, but it is too intense for me at first spray ... caused a headache before a long shift ... will be exchanging for something i will reach for more 💔

I definitely get why folks say this smells like a shampoo. It does smell like a fruity floral, though I can't pick out a specific scent. It's nice but I've had this for a couple years and haven't reached for it once.

It has a very sweet (sugar) smell. Its more suitable with a teenager type of perfume. Its ok but not for me

This is my least favorite Be Delicious flanker. At first spray, I liked it, but then it became headache inducing. It's an inconsistent and conflicting scent profile. I didn't like it, nor did my family. Very cloying.

This was a blind buy for me, and I'm glad I got it for $20 at SDM. It's too weird, it's very cloying, and there's too much going on. It reinforces my opinion that "fruity" should never be mixed with caramel.

Poof! This perfume was GONE in 15 minutes. If you enjoy smelling like air, then this will be perfect. I picked it up at Ross because I love to blind buy random perfumes. It’s a hobby at this point. I was so disappointed in this. The bottle was cute and small and I love how it’s pink, but this perfume is mediocre at best. In its true form, it smells cheap and loses its scent in about 20 minutes. Upon spraying, I couldn’t really pick the notes apart. Tbh, it smelled like a cheap hand soap or body lotion that you’d get from a $5 gift set from Walgreens. No offense. Just not worth the $20 for the perfume. It smelled like NOTHING, yet it smelled odd. It smells like cheap, apple-scented soap with a whisper of warm florals somewhere in the mix. I seriously couldn’t differentiate the notes. I will say, in a few minutes the smell dissipated. It came and went quicker than the CTA. not worth it. I would’ve rather picked up a Fantasy flanker from the BS line.

Not sure if the one I got was spoiled but it just smells like fresh cut parsley or coriander or some kind of herb or something. Doesn't smell anything like the Britney Spears Fantasy or Fantasy Intimate perfumes in the "this perfume reminds me of" section or Prada Candy. I love those 3. This is nothing like them.

SO DISAPPOINTED. Do not buy this. The smell is so light you can barely even smell it on your skin. Others definitely can't smell it on you. Way too weak. Fades immediately. The weakest perfume I've ever tried from DKNY. I was disappointed because the OG BE DELICIOUS is such a hit. I'm returning this.

Give this scent so many chances but still a big no. It’s really smells for me like BS fantasy - cheap, geil, cotton candish, nausea trigger.

SO GOOD! It's so juicy, I definitely get the caramel in this! A bit tart but sweet, I imagine biting into a hard caramel granny smith apple while walking through a field of white flowers and honeysuckle - definitely smell the honeysuckle! It's most likely the pear giving the straight up juicy, and i love what it's doing!! Sometimes pear in perfume screams "high school" to me, not this one though, i can smell this now on any age any person anywhere at anytime! Now on the drydown after a while, I get the warmth in the base with the ambroxan for SURE - personally, this is what i want it to do. If i compare with an ambroxan fragrance like Juliet is a Gun Not A Perfume (me and Juliet aren't friends unfortunately)- i like this better! This paired with any vanilla would be gorgeous, but I'm most excited to layer this with my Kayali Eden Juicy Apple. I wish this lasted a bit longer on me, it definitely is not the worst by any means for longevity - i would get a solid 4-5 hours! I have also had my nose on another apple scent for a few months now I still haven't picked up yet - Nina Rouge by Nina Ricci which i also think this would be gorgeous with to intensify, but its also a good similar scent if you can't locate this one!!!

This was my first ever fragrance. My parents bought it for me in middle school when I asked for a perfume, and I can see why they did. It's juicy and sweet, very youthful. Just what I liked as a kid. At first, you get the fruitiness mixed with a heavy, almost cloying and stuffy sweetness from the caramel. Once it dries on the skin, it becomes more floral and a little less sweet. Now, as an adult, I like the drydown much better than the initial spray. It's a shame the smell doesn't last at all, but I think the fact that my bottle is about 10 years old at this point makes it worse. (When asked about the smell of this, my sister thought it smelled more mature than youthful, maybe because of the florals??)

I like this, I bought this at the end of 2020 from Fragrancex in the US. First spray starts out with Raspberry, and quickly turns into a Caramel / slight Floral with the Ambroxan. Similar Caramel that's in Gold Couture, but not as syrupy as that one, it's more tolerable in Be Extra Delicious. It's a nice perfume worth around $30. Sillage is just average, it's no where near as strong as the original DKNY Be Delicious. I have several of the flankers. It's been hard to keep up with all of them though. This is one of the better flankers, and one that's not too in your face like Be Tempted was. If it was stronger than it is I would give it a higher rating. 7/10.

This feels like a very youthful, fruity scent with a hint of caramel. I can smell berries, apple and caramel candies in this. The scent is kind of sugary, juicy. Not bad, but it feels way too light for me, not like something with decent longevity and projection. I think one must be really fond of airy and fruity scents in order to enjoy this properly. I guess I'm used to something else. :) Maybe I would think of purchasing this if it was stronger. If that was the case then it could be a nice summer scent for me for days when I don't feel like wearing heavier and more complex perfumes, which I normally prefer to wear.

Got a 30ml for $19.99 @ Shoppers Drug Mart. OMG what a delicious fragrance, but OMG is it WEAK! This now may be the weakest perfume in my collection. Juicy caramel pear, well mixed Fruits and unnoticeable florals. Wrapped in a creamy raspberry base. I really really hope this performs better in hotter months. Sillage is at ZERO. Not even 2 minutes in and I have to push my nose in my skin to smell it. My scent profile is fruity gourmands. I really want to love this one :( DKNY we need a reformulation! Stop making flankers and perfect the ones your customers love like BE EXTRA DELICIOUS!!!!

Once again ,,,, the notes sounded like a dream come true but once you try it ................ It's waaaay too creamy for my taste, nothing loud , too subtle The name EXTRA Delicious is misleading With DKNY I always look for that fruitiness that tickles your nose & gives you that scene of refreshment & sugar satisfaction especially in hot summer days Sadly not with this one But I can see this can be appealing to other people with different taste in perfumes

I am in love with this fragrance. Instinct said "buy without trying the tester". I read some reviews but usually I'm not convinced by them because each of us is individual. This is a delicious gourmand scent. The fragrance notes are in harmony, but the caramel comes out nicely. Lasts up to 10 hours on my skin. Don't pass this up, give it a try.

Perfect fragrance for spring!! Fresh, fruity, light, apple/pear with a hint if caramel. I get bits if the original dna in the dry down, a cucumber note that is not listed. However this flanker is much more to my liking, the original is way too strong on me.
