DKNY Women Fall

Ohhh, I really like this one! Lovely for autumn/winter. Soft, spicy citrus, with the white floral notes taking a back seat but giving it depth. Longevity and sillage are really good too, a winner!

A huge bottle for just under £20 on Ebay. I am not dissapointed, my expectations were low with it being so cheap. However, this did impress me. I would describe this as a warm soft spicy fragrance, with citrus notes of mandarin and blood orange (although not listed). I don't detect any gardenia, nor do I detect much cardamom, I really wish I did as they are 2 of my favorite notes in a fragrance. The magnolia and Jasmine are strong in this one giving strong white floral tones, I can also detect cedar and vetiver blended with bergamot as faint base notes, this gives the scent a warm spicy musky feel. This fragrance does smell a little sharp, sweet and bitter at times, but it is still lovely. It is soft spicy and perfect for autumn/winter time. It has good lasting power for being so cheap, although it turns into a skin scent after an hour or 2- so projection isn't fantastic. However, it is cheap enough to respray- it is worth the money. I find it very non-offensive and spray it when I am in a rush on cold chilly mornings, as it is definitely a safe everyday, every occasion type of fragrance. It is a lovely fragrance, not my favorite, but a lovely warm soft spicy fragrance that I do make use of within my collection. It doesn't smell like anything I own, but is not all that unique. I think it would make a safe and affordable gift for a woman 21 years plus. The bottle looks surprisingly elegant and grand among my others, photos do it no justice. I don't think this is anything like Taj Sunset Escada- that fragrance is fresh tropical and fruity- this scent is soft and spicy. No resemblance to one another to my nose and I own them both.

15. December 2013 This version of classic DKNY which was originally citrusy "energizing" fragrance is not energizing at all for my nose. I would call it "sensual". Well, yes, it does contain mandarines, but the most dominant notes from the very start all the way to beginning of drydown are gardenia and magnolia. Mandarin comes through only at he middle stage, closer to drydown (my skin test). I do not smell any cardamon in here, musk is rather very shy and mostly detectable in the drydown, if at all. Nice, pleasant, with a different twist. Lasting power over 6 hrs,which is good and i enjoy it quite much. Sillage is varying from moderate to softer, but i guess if sprayed more than 2 sprays it will vary from moderate to heavy. P.S. I do think the voting is not correct for the notes, the most dominant note for me is still gardenia, it should be nr.1, then magnolia is nr.2, and only then mandarine should be nr.3. this is my personal experience. UPDATE: (many hours later) the lasting power is amazing. It sits firmly on your skin for the whole 10+ hours! And stil detectable after all this time.

I got this perfume a a gift from my hubby :-). It smells great,it came from switzerland.. i haven't seen it in my country by the time i got this,altough i haven't really search.. it smells kinda like escada taj sunset.. i know the notes doesn't really match,but it smells exotic same wy on me.. really simmilar,at least in my skin.. but dispite the simmilarity,the taj sunset fades away quickly,and in this perfume,it lasts and last and last.. i am very happy with this one.. just got a 100ml/3.4oz .. lucky me.. if you are a fan of taj sunset and you don't buy because of longetivity,give this one a chance and you wont regret..

Nice, cold, soft spicy floral. Office friendly, not tiring, very pleasant. I have bought it blind (!) and expected more spiciness. I wear it to work. The opening is citrusy and I can smell orange clearly; after a while it settles down and becomes more floral: wet magnolia and jasmine, still with a hint of orange. I do not see the resemblance to Taj Sunset; TS is much more tropical, and I would love Fall if it was more tropical as well. It is very safe, stays on clothes for hours, but I would not repurchase it. For me definitely not a fall or winter scent, would be perfect for spring. I would love to be able to imagine falling leaves and get the cosy vibe, but unfortunately all I smell is delicate, slightly spicy white bouquet. Simply pretty, but not breath-taking.
