Fruity Neroli

whilst i have little to no experience with high end perfumes, this one smells quite luxurious and reminds me of the perfume store on a cruise ship from years ago for some reason. i wouldn't say that the strawberry note instantly jumped out at me, more so a strawberry leaf scent after around an hour of wear. one thing i love about this perfume is how juicy it smells, not photorealistic fruit or anything but really strong and juicy almost berries scent. i've never tried the my way perfume it claims to be a dupe of but would definitely be encouraged to do so after smelling this. lasts a while but sillage could be better, but probably just a me thing as i always want my perfumes to be eternal with crazy sillage :)

Smells a lot like My Way in the bottle, but smells completely different on my skin. It's nice, but a lot more bright and fruity, almost juvenile compared to My Way. But for the price, I would say it's pretty decent.

Lasts about an hour on skin and maybe a little more on hair/clothing. I can’t make up my mind on it because it’s so fleeting. The initial notes are all green/berry to me, with a slightly sizzly sharp background, not pencil shavings but it gives that same stinging feeling. It can’t make me love or hate it, it just kind of exists. It may benefit from being tried in super hot/humid weather. The dry down is generic crowd pleaser ‘perfume’ smell, a flat bunch of white florals. It DOES make me want to sample the perfume it claims to replicate!!

Can someone explain to me what is in this scent that my nose might be interpreting as grass? Maybe even a vegetables like jalapeno? Ugh, this one was disappointing and now that I think of it, I haven’t really been thrilled by anything I’ve got from Dossier. Don’t go into this thinking your getting My Way. The original has a sweet strawberry that is completely absent here. The Dossier version is so, so sharp. Screechy. This scent is GREEN. I don’t get a fruity floral anything here.

On first sniff, exactly the pungent and green neroli I generally avoid. But the heart begins to smell of orange blossom in the best possible style, and along the way starts to sing of sweetness and tuberose. So, although the opening is quite different, Fruity Neroli is a decent dupe of My Way. It will depend on personal chemistry as to how it develops on YOU. I would say it was 95% similar to the original, at least on me. Great Job, Dossier. This beauty is feminine, STRONG, reasonably long lasting, and a happy, feminine compliment magnet. RECOMMENDED on all levels. A budget delight!
