Musky Green Tea

This is my first review! Keep in mind that my nose is not very sophisticated, so these are just some things I noticed. I got this cologne last night and compared it to a sample of Creed's Silver Mountain Water (SMW). ------------- TLDR / Review ------------- I think for ~$40, this is fantastic. Slightly worse than SMW, but that's to be expected. I would say it's a good 80%-95% of the original, not enough to notice. Opening is slightly different (and worse, I think), but dry down is so similar it's hard to tell. Performance also seems to be better than the original, at least when compared to the sample of SMW I had. I think it's a fantastic scent for a great price, truly difficult to beat. I really enjoy SMW, and this gets pretty darn close, I feel. For $40, this is so hard to pass up. Just buy it, honestly. ------------- Opening ------------- I found this cologne to be brighter, more citrusy, and harsher compared to SMW. SMW opens very cool and balanced, I feel, whereas this cologne has a harsher opening, not super indicative of the rest of the scent. ------------- Drydown ------------- Man, this cologne gets so close to SMW it's unreal. Almost indistinguishable when compared to SMW. I will say SMW feels like a very rounded, smoother scent when compared to this dupe. ------------- Performance ------------- Maybe it was just the sample I had at the time, but I was genuinely shocked to see how terrible the performance of SMW was. Creed must be joking with a $470 pricetag lol, ridiculous. Dossier's dupe has better projection and longevity, Creed disappeared after 30 minutes with one spray. I hope this helps someone make the best decision for themselves! This was a great addition to my collection.

I’ve never owned any Creed fragrances personally but I do own this. To me this smells like SMW 90-95%, but what takes away from this is the sensual experience that comes with the Creed fragrance. With this, it just smells like an exact copy of it in terms of smell and that’s it. The original is like doing a multiple choice math quiz intimately for the first time and carefully calculating the answers, whereas the copy is doing the test with the answers right next to you. Hopefully that makes sense. It is a good dupe!

Yeah, this smells like SMW. To me, this perfume is like a cold shower: fresh and light and overall clean with bits of sweaty musk, calm and crisp and complex.

Tried a 1ml sample and wasn't for me. I don't have the Creed to compare it to, but I found it to be a citrus heavy scent with a floral base and hints of tea. At times the citrus felt like kitchen cleaner and the excellent floral notes came and went in waves. It didn't last very long on skin, and created some funkiness on my clothes. It's likely a good scent but not for my nose, and if you're looking for a citrus scent with a twist then this might be up your alley. It's cheap enough to be a decent blind buy, but maybe look for a sample first.

Reminds me of Cool Water... nothing special and kinda mad the survey results suggested it (I bought all they said I would like, SMH) To me is very male heavy more than uni for sure. Of course, all scents are uni if you want them to be, this one is just not my cup of tea. I'll give to my husband because I've had this for many years now (purchased way back when Dossier started out) and have never ever wanted to reach for it.

In my honest opinion this leans far more masculine. That's not to say that I don't like it at all, but it's probably not something i will wear often. It is heavy citrus. I pick up the bergamot, petitgrain, and mandarin the most. Rate- 5.5/10

This is Silver Mountain water juice in a Dossier bottle. I have tested the original and this is a dead ringer for it. I'm a woman and my body amplifies the florals. This smells soooo soooo beautiful! It's somewhat of a professional smelling scent; just super unique, clean and floral smelling. Works well on a windy fall night, where it can waft up all around you. The longevity is fantastic on this. Lasts all day for me.

Its nothing groudbreaking. It’s a a reliable gym scent/casual wear, and that's really the only categories it stands out. The performance on this is also not great (maybe 3 hours if I over spray). You will most likely have a better frag than this in every aspect, and it will just sit in the back of your drawer.
