Musky Musk

I love this perfume. It’s very close to the skin in general (duh) but even after an entire day of humid weather and sweat I still can smell a hint of it on my skin. It smells just like nemat amber oil to me. Think warm skin, early morning light, being productive, getting out of the shower, light coziness. When I sprayed it it was really alcohol-y for a couple seconds but it got much better. I don’t have JHAG Not a Perfume to compare it to but this is perfect alone, I can see it being a signature for me. Don’t expect something mind-blowing, expect something mind-soothing :)

I am really enjoying this fragrances. To me this is everything I expected Nemat Amber to be, except I can’t smell that one at all. It literally smells like water. This however, smells absolutely lovely. Just like clean skin, which is exactly what I want. I also like it for layering with other musks like Egyptian Musk. I will definitely be purchasing this over and over.

I absolutely love this! Very musky, airy, clean and slightly powdery. This lasts on my clothes for 8-10 hours minimum. The opening is my favorite part. Great for layering and beautiful on its own. Moderate sillage on clothes, intimate sillage on skin. I woke up and could still smell this the next day on my skin which is crazy. Outperforms the OG 9.5/10

Simple, musky. I reach for this one to layer with my other skin scents usually. This one provides a good clean woody base to mix with my other fragrances. Fair warning: This one you have to spray lightly like 2 sprays max. It may not seem strong to your own nose but it has a beast mode projection to those around you. Lasts for hours as well!

I love this. It’s my go to bed fragrance. I can see how people would say that can’t smell it. For me it’s warming up the skin. It’s almost a calming scent that I feel relaxed in. I can’t quite describe it, I’d say it has the same characteristics of after coming in from being out in the sun for a while on a hot summer day.

I wouldn't call it a Not a Perfume dupe. NaP only has Cetalox which I can barely detect. Musky Musk, besides Cetalox, has Iso E Super (which I love), Musk T and Hebanolide. For me these fragrances smell very different and I much more prefer Musky Musk. So if you have trouble smelling Not a Perfume, try this one.

I like this. I’ve never smelled the original but if it smells like this, I don’t need to. I’m a musk girl. So this one is very comforting to me. I can’t wait to layer it with other musk based fragrances. EDIT: I have gotten a bottle of the og JHAG NAP and this dupe does smell identical.

The musk blends well with the skin you don’t smell it on yourself while others do. The scent might smell underwhelming at first, a bit woody with a clean laundry vibe. I assume it’s like glossier You in the sense that it works its magic once sprayed on the skin.

Tried not a perfume and wanted a big bottle so bought the dupe first. It certainly doesn’t last as long as the original, but great for layering or for an after shower scent.

so addicting. so versatile. slightly animalic in the most sexy way possible. better than what it’s trying to dupe (not a perfume - JHAG).

Literally identical to JHAG Not A Perfume! This is my signature scent.

Beautiful to layer with everything

It’s the smell of skin that’s warm and alive, skin that breathes and sweats. I find this perfume incredibly feminine, in the best possible way. It’s not for a woman who needs to douse herself in fruits and flowers to smell good. It’s for a woman who is seductively herself, embracing all of her natural body scent. I find its longevity very dependent on the context. Sometimes it seems to disappear, or maybe I just become nose-blind to it, only to come back later in the day. It reacts to something like body heat or humidity in the air, and then, bam, the Iso E Super shines in all its glory again. I don’t care much about the OG or who came first because skin scents have become a category of their own. For the price and performance, Dossier Musky Musk definitely deserves a spot on my shelf.

it does the trick and a minimalist "just a little something" scent or layering base. as a dupe for JHAG Not a Perfume, it behaves pretty differently. it stays longer on me than Not a Perfume does, but probably at the expense of a less balanced and more chemical overall feel. i'm not too bothered by the chemicalness as the perfume is overall pretty light, but it does give it a less nice overall experience (for example, rubbing in the perfume it feels kind of sticky?) also I get a definite spicy or peppery note in there on the initial spray that i wish wasn't there.

Very musky not that woody as i hoped! Kind of sharp in a way but clean and intresting skin scent good for layering

This is perfect for layering. Can still be used alone if you want something skin scent.

This is an iso-E Super bomb. Not balanced at all. Nothing like the original imo. This is unisex leaning masculine. It’s a great perfume amplifier and it holds perfumes for longer. I use it almost as a primer. It’s too sharp and unbalanced to wear on its own. It outperforms Not a Perfume in longevity and sillage, but that’s because of the obnoxious amount of iso-e super. I’d rather have quality smelling juice than something unbalanced with high performance.

I love NAP, but this smells nothing like it. NAP though not a strong scent, lasts forever and actually projects. This gets eaten up by skin right away, does not project. Good thing though because it smells nothing like the original and like dusty pencil shavings. WHY dossier would you add anything but cetalox/ambroxan :( I will say I do like it on my partner and it smells less pencil shavings and more pure musky skin scent on him, though no where near as good as NAP.

I really cant smell anything with this perfume. I srayed it on my skin and on other people’s skin too. Nothing. Literally nothing. I dont know if its just me but my brother also dont smell a bit.

A cooling, chemical musk scent. Not cozy or comfortable in the way I like a musk fragrance to be.

Maple syrupy musk. Feels a bit toxic. I hate it!

I am on my second bottle. I like this more than JHAG NAP. It has a very light woody undertone mixed with the Iso Super E, and I love it. I do not find it soapy or musky (despite its name), but it is clean. The best way I can describe it is the fragrance of cotton sheets you washed in fragrance free detergent and no fabric softener when you pull them hot out of the dryer. It makes a great first fragrance layer and performs well on its own. It is totally unisex. It is worth trying even if you have the original.

nemat amber’s slightly woodier queer twin sister. SUCH a versatile and clean scent.

This smells like amber white, but with a muskier note. Not bad.
