Powdery Coconut

Blind buy at Burlington, $20/50ml. I absolutely love it. Powdery, yes. Coconut is mild. Not at all what I expected, in a good way. Thought I'd smelled every possible tuberose/coconut combination out there and they all tend towards beachy, loud, and common. This is understated, more line-dried-laundry than bronzed body under a tropical sun, and even a little vintage. The benzoin and amber along with coconut and ylang is really beautiful. The cardamom adds a cool-spicy smell, and the (short-lived) bergamot in the opening is super fresh and bright. Everything is in balance, nothing really stands out, but you can smell each note. Very solar. 10/10. p.s. I've never smelled the Tom Ford, but this does not seem to have any pink pepper or similar at all, so it's probably not a 1:1 dupe, if that note is noticeable/crucial in the TF.

when i smelled this in the bottle i wasn't expecting to love it as much as i do, genuinely addicted to this perfume. have never smelt the tom ford soleil blanc but would definitely be encouraged to do so after using this one. initially leans quite unisex/masculine with the bergamot, kinda verbena-y?? opening, gives me an almost aftershave vibe (still delicious), but after a few minutes turns into a lovely, warmer, more feminine scent. personally leans quite sunscreen-y which i absolutely adore, but it's not a super synthetic or strong sunscreen odour, more of a general beachy smell. can 100 percent picture this scent being at home on a warm summer day by the coast but also to me it feels perfect for exploring the old town and market of a town in southern france or italy. for sure my new summer perfume x

I first smelled Soleil Blanc by Tom Ford and absolutely fell in love with it. Soleil Blanc is the fragrance that reflects my scent profile the best. Coconut, white florals, sunscreen-ish scents. Powdery Coconut by dossier is an amazing alternative to this fragrance. A few differences are noticeable such as the opening with the pistachio note being more prominent, but Powdery Coconut does its job very well. The only « issue » with this fragrance and dossier’s fragrances are the price. Indeed, dupe fragrances almost never exceed the price of $60. Overall, I am fully satisfied with this fragrance and would 100% recommend to people looking for a cheaper alternative to Soleil Blanc by Tom Ford.

Why waste your hard earned money on Tom Ford Soleil Blanc when this little gem exists. While you're wear this, you not only smell classy... you transport to a tropical oasis like there is no tomorrow! The perfumes composition creates a fragrance that smells like clean powder with a hint of sweet coconut that only so slighty smells like sunscreen. The fragrance lasts 6-7 hours on skin and also lingers on clothes for such an affordable price. A classy coworker complimented on this scent and how nice I smelt! The benzoin keeps the fragrance grounded and slighty sexy ;)

I absolutely friggen love this. I actually bought this without ever smelling TF Soleil Blanc. I've grown to absolutely love this - I bought it a couple months ago and it's already half full! A few weeks ago i finally found Soileil Blanc in store and my god they are basically identical. I think the only difference I could pick up on was that Soleil Blanc is more sweet which i don't mind. It lasts me around 4h but it lingers on clothing quite well. super good value honestly this is an incredible dupe and it smells expensive!

There’s a lovely clean, bright, fresh florally coconut opening to this which dries down to a warm, fragrant, nutty pistachio with the jasmine and tuberose adding floral sweetness. A hint of expensive sunscreen, warm, salty skin and night jasmine on the evening air. It’s very similar to Tom Ford’s Soleil Blanc for a fraction of the price and the longevity is great. I just wish it had a prettier name!

It's not a perfect dupe of TF SB but it comes pretty close without breaking the bank. It lasts a decent amount of time on clothing and layers well with other floral like Liz Claiborne's Bora Bora. I enjoy it. Score: 7.5 /10

This perfume is amazing. Smells so clean. More feminine than masculine due to the types of florals used but good god this smells so clean and fresh. I can't wait to wear this to work and give it a run for its money.

This smells INCREDIBLE. I blind bought this, and I couldn't be happier. It smells like a clean, sunny coconut. I can imagine smelling this on a sophisticated girl enjoying a 5* resort holiday.

Bought it for the coconut, kept it for the tuberose and jasmine. Honestly, I get zero coconut from this. Not even in the drydown where the base notes are supposed to come through. But for those who know Mediterranean summers, this scent is pure magic. It captures the feeling of a summer night when jasmine is in full bloom, or late August into early September when tuberose fills the air with its heady intensity. It doesn’t matter if you’re in the countryside or the city, if these are nearby, you’ll smell them. That’s exactly what this perfume evokes. Which is why I’m surprised so many people call it a daytime fragrance. To me, it’s the ultimate summer night scent. It blends into the environment effortlessly, especially if you’re somewhere in the Mediterranean. Oh yeah, and longevity? Much better than Tom Ford, with 95% the same smell. Tom Ford is worth sh**. Biggest scam in designer perfume.

I finally tried Dossier’s Powdery Coconut and I’m impressed. If you love Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, this is a dead-ringer: airy coconut cream up top, soft white florals in the heart, and a smooth amber/benzoin dry-down that feels beachy and elegant, not sugary. On me it projects softly for the first couple of hours and settles into a cozy skin scent that lasts 6–7 hours. Gorgeous for daytime, vacations, or when you want that sun-lit, skin-glow vibe without the designer price tag. Dossier’s perfume magic? Right on point. Thanks, Dossier!

probably not the best dossier out there, but i like to spray it on after i shower. exactly what it says on the tin: powdery coconut, but it's more spicy and not gourmand at all

Do yourself a huge favour and don’t listen to any of the sponsored tiktokers like I did. I have never made a review in my life, but I made an account specifically to get anyone away from this monstrosity. It smells off for the first 5 mins and then dries down to soleil blanc with a mix of strong urine. Save your time and money.

Something about this just smells like a cheap hand soap in a dirty public restroom. Totally unwearable

Nope. It gets the initial five mins right? But this odd dossier smell that they all have!! The companies website is also super shady!! If you don’t watch where you click? You’ll end up with a 39$ monthly membership!! They don’t dry down anything like the originals and they last about 30 mins!! Eh I’ve yet to find a good dupe house 🤷♀️ that’s just the way it is! I wish there was a Middle East dupe of soleil blanc?? Anyway don’t do it!! Find another coconut scent that is similar and spend a bit more this isn’t worth it

This smells like Wildwood, NJ. Fishy-bay-stink in the background, hot sand, and sour coconut-y sunscreen. Hard pass. The dry down still has that fishy beach sand smell.
