Glacial Falls Cologne

Super surprised by how much I love this cologne. This is the Summer; fresh version of their Fireside Bourbon (my favorite cologne) and I am so surprised by how similar they are. It's the cloves. The votes above are completely inaccurate in my opinion. I immediately get cloves followed by a fresh watery wood and lastly a bit of citrus that smells way more like orange than Bergamot (I usually don't like Bergamot). It's musky, yet sweet, yet warm. Really unique. Unlike other Squatch colognes this one actually evolves on skin, the dry down is fantastic and where it truly becomes a Summer scent. So for those worried about the cloves they mostly disperse and you're left with that fresh citrusy waterfall smell. This cologne really surprised me. I expected to like it the least of all the Squatch colognes, but it is EASILY my second favorite. Perfect for Summer and even Fall (again, I completely disagree with the votes here) because of that warm spiciness from the cloves in front of the crisp watery texture. It's not your typical blue scent but I find that to be an awesome thing. Of course, as with all-natural colognes it's to be expected that longevity and sillage will fall behind other colognes but this one is one of the longer lasting Squatch colognes (I own them all). Does it smell like Fresh Falls? In my opinion, no. It doesn't. It's its own thing but they aren't completely different. They are both fresh and have some citrus notes. The cologne is just a bit spicier and warmer. I know that might sound strange but it works. They are most similar on the drydown. If you like Fresh Falls, I THINK you'll like this. If you're a fan of Fireside Bourbon, or of spicy woodsy scents in general but still needing a fresh fragrance, get this. Overall, the cloves here make it very reminiscent of a Summertime "Blue Fireside Bourbon" and I really enjoy it. Scent- 95/100 Longevity 80/100 Sillage 60/100 Projection 70/100 Male. Summer/Fall. Day/Night.

My boyfriend uses Dr Squatch's fresh falls scented bodycare products and occasionally he will wear this cologne in addition to that. It smells AMAZING on him. I wish that he would wear it for cuddle time when we aren't on dates! 😭🙏 The way that it reacts with his skin is an important factor but it just smells so delicious. Clean and fresh and insanely attractive. It projects in a way that drives me crazy /pos and if he switches to something else (or this cologne gets discontinued) I will be very sad. I've never tried it on myself and I don't know how helpful a review from a partner's perspective would be but it's so delicious that I had to share, for context I am a guy, 10/10 on him.

Very good fragrance, very fresh and woody. It smells very masculine and would be a perfect fresh, everyday summer fragrance. The performance isn't great, only lasting 2-4 hours but it's still a great fragrance. It also smells very natural, although it is a little bit overpriced imo.

This is a fresh very woodsy fragrance. I get little bergamot from it which isn’t bad. It makes me feel like I’m walking in a rainy forest. However the performance totally sucks. Lasts maybe an hour and projects barely, and that’s with almost 2 years of macerating. You have to spray 10 times or more. I’d say it’s overpriced for that reason. Still smells great though.

Good for its price. It's a simple freshy with a little bit of wood.

this company has some solid products but these colognes are far from their best work. they all seem to be "inspired" by their scents as opposed to actual recreations of them, in this case, glacial falls being based on fresh falls. i've used and still use a lot of their soap and i would put fresh falls up there as one of their absolute best. i like fresh scents but they often blend into one another and can smell very boyish. in the case of fresh falls, the scent is sweet, fresh, and a little woody, reminiscent of chewing on an orange popsicle stick but with a hint of addictively fresh dryer sheets. a cologne that smells like any of their soap scents was destined for success, but unfortunately, they took a different route. glacial falls is another basic freshie with nothing that really sets it apart from the rest of its kind. it's set at a premium price for what isn't a premium cologne. its strength is disappointing, lasting only a couple of hours and it sits close to the skin. i'd recommend picking up another blue cologne from something like bath and bodyworks, target, or even ross--any of these are STRIKINGLY similar but only half of the price. hopefully they'll discontinue these at some point and give it another go in the future with more faithful recreations of their signature scents.

Definitely my least favorite in the Dr. Squatch lineup. Don't get me wrong, this doesn't smell terrible, and I understand they're trying to provide an all-natural cologne. However, it smells like a cheap body spray, not as terrible as Axe, thankfully, but it still gets that locker room environment smell. 5.2/10

Does not really smell bad, has a very strong antiperspirant smell to me. Super basic in it's composition meaning its not the best if you want something unique but it can definitely be ran as a daily.

Copped this in August 2024 and let me say this is garbage. Only bad fragrance I ever bought. Never blind buy this trash. Instantly gave to my grandpa.

Good cologne for guys who don't like to wear cologne and just want to smell clean. Light, fresh, cooling aquatic, Irish spring vibes. Not for those who are collecting and like stronger scents, they'd barely use it.

Super basic. Better alternatives out there, but overall it's a safe blind buy. Can't really fault it as it's supposed to be mass-appealing. Not for me though as it is too simple.

This one is okay, decent summer fragrance, definitely doesn’t compete with anything serious.
