Amber

Animalic, salty, and spicy amber on my skin. Bergamot note only exists in the first 2-3 seconds. I cound detect a very mild sandalwood note mixed with a delicious musky amber scent. I am unable to recognize Paprika although it's quite spicy. A warm and very well blended perfume. A must try for amber lovers.

More animal than amber for me, I like it but I don't love it and I'm kind of disappointed. Very dry. I'm gonna revisit in the future in different weather. 6/10

Very interesting. Boozy like bourbon at first then the dry down is salty, balsamic, honey and beeswax. Very unique blend, great for a chilly winter’s night.

On paper htis one really popped for me. Out of twenty plus samples this was one of seven that I chose to test on my skin, and once applied it turned warm and luscious. my problem occurred when I took it home and wore it on my decollete for the day. It turned way too sweet on me. I chose this, BTW, during my scent scent profile, and was told that balsam might not work on me. My initial attraction was to the opening notes, which are stellar, but hte dry down did not mesh well with my chemistry. This isn't as sweet as a traditional floral, but for those who prefer the darker, drier scents you will really notice the balsam and honey here. This is better suited for those who have a higher sweet tolerance than I.

Animalic amber that warms up with resin and dries down into the most delicious balsamic honey. This perfume is so beautiful on me that each time I sniff my wrists, I close my eyes. I have both the EDP and extract and can't decide which I love more. The EDP wore saltier, more animalic, and slightly dirtier, while the extract wore sweeter and more resinous with warmth from the Peru balsam and myrrh. This is Dawn Spencer Hurwitz' personal perfume and I can see why. If I could, I would smell like this every day of my life. It's so beautiful and she is so talented!
