Special Formula X

I'm such a big fan of DSH Perfumes, I completely forgot about this quality. This is for fans of "Molecule 1", Juliet Has a Gun's "Not a Perfume" or fans of light musk-y fragrances in general. On my skin it sort of has a chlorine scent to it, it really reminds me taking a swim in the summer and coming out to relax in the sun... I think it's lovely and will probably find a bottle in my collection soon! 8/10

Somehow this reminds me of Perfect Veil, less appealing somewhat, but still better than anything by Clean

How this perfume turns out, you can analyze skin type and it will be helpful choosing perfumes fit you. I will write a long review to help you ladies and gentlemen. At the first, Smell the perfume liquid and on paper strip. Liquid: very weak metallic smell. Paper: simple musk. And spray it on middle of your arm. ( not on the wrist or any part you usually put your perfume if you really want to analyze your skin type correctly because there might be the last perfume you used stained. ) How the scent changed on your skin? Keep sniffing many times until scent will be gone completely. It turned out ( There are levels like strong to weak gradation ) •Sweet : Formula X turns flower /pollen kind of scent. you are not good at heavily sweet, gourmand, chocolate, milk or lactonic perfumes. Citrus scent are usually not lasted on your skin. You are good at fruity/floral scents like berries, roses, jasmine etc., •Musky : Formula X turns soapy or musky. you are not good at strong animalic scent. Weak longevity perfumes and citrus scent last longer than others on your skin. You are good at white florals, woody, Amber and vanilla scent. •Woody: Formula X turns like incense. In your case majority of perfumes smell different on your skin than paper strips or others. You are good at warm, spicy, woody, smoky scents like Cedar wood, sandalwood, patchouli etc., •Neutral: Formula X didn’t change the scent, your skin smelled like the liquid of this perfume. In this case Every Perfume liquids smell exactly same as pyramid described on your skin. You have the hyper sensibilities for scents and a picky taste, you feel bad/sick if you smell a scent you are not in love with. Avoid aquatic, marine or ozonic type of perfumes. ( if even a little turns, refer to the above skin types. Because sometime some people have more than 2 skin types at the same time like “ neutral- weak sweet musky” skin ) For women, hormones might be affected your skin type. Some people change skin type before/after giving birth. Also the period so try this multiple times you can figure out more details about your skin type. I wrote all of above but please make it sure you will use it as a reference and try the perfumes you are interested on your skin to know if it’s really matching with you.

I have a sample vial from Indie Scents which reads DSH Formula X. As far as I can tell, this is basically white musk. I believe that it is intended to enhance one's personal skin scent? All musk perfumes these days are synthetic, so there's probably no extra reason to buy this one from DSH. It smells fine, but The Body Shop's is probably just as good for someone looking for a simple white musk. DSH perfumes are not expensive, but The Body Shop's are downright cheap. I should add, however, that I am not that big on musk personally, so I'm probably not the best judge of the possible shades and nuances to be found in side-by-side comparisons of today's white musk perfumes...
