Nitro Green

A version of Ultra Male and 9pm. Not much more to say. Lol. Much less "bubblegummy" than 9pm for me, hits more in the zone of Ultra Male especially in the opening. Lots of vanilla, lots of lavender, amber, with hints of green going around with it. I also do get an slightly earthy touch, giving credit to the notes. Good longevity with good sillage, great for cooler weather, but wouldn't be offensive on cooler summer days. This is something I'd maybe consider wearing on a date in the fall or winter, much I like I love using le male elixir for. But I'd wear this to work or whatever all the same too. Didn't like 9pm all that much and I gave my bottle away very quick after purchase to my much younger nephew, who appreciated it more than I did. Lol. This seems to be a bit more my age more than anything I think too. I've sampled Ultra Male and this does hit a little more in line with that for me, and as usual with a lot of "clones", the performance here is as good as Ultra Male, maybe even a little better on the sillage for me. Not a long review for me, but not really much more to say. I dig it.

This smells like Mancera Aoud Lemon Mint, which is strange considering there are no citric notes (or any fruity notes, for that matter) in Nitro Green. Like Aoud Lemon Mint, Green smells a bit synthetic but I suppose what do you expect from a $28 cologne. Still, it smells really good, projects well enough and is sure to garner compliments. Aoud Lemon Mint becomes a little more woody after the opening, whereas Green is more linear and stays that same opening scent throughout its lifespan. If you happen to own ALM already, it might be redundant to buy Green -- it's not a 1:1 clone -- the vanilla note is much more noticeable in Nitro Green's opening, where ALM leans more tart citrus in its opening. But those around you would be highly unlikely to tell the difference. while Which is the better value depends on your priority: Aoud Lemon Mint is more expensive ($90-$120) but has much stronger performance. Green has weaker performance but is significantly cheaper ($30).

#820 in my "Tour de Fragrance" So, right off the bat, this may in fact be trying to be JPG Ultra Male. Just like Afnan 9PM, just like Lattafa Ramz Silver. I have them all. Ramz Silver is indistinguishable from Ultra Male for me. 9PM is a little sharper in the opening, but otherwise indistinguishable. This scent is outperforms Ultra Male, 9PM and Ramz Silver, is slightly greener, not fruity, but just as likeable as Ultra Male. Solid performance. I'm very happy with this blind buy. Car pool, elevator, office safe, but I think like the other two Nitros I've purchased so far, "Blue" and "Red", it's casual wear for me, and I'm definitely ordering the other Nitro flankers.

Another powerful fragrance, and also not a direct clone. Think JPG Ultra Male or Afnan 9pm with a green aromatic fougère element. Thankfully this isn't super bubblegummy, though there is that Dumont Nitro sweetness hiding in it. It's really good with this vanillic soft floral open that gets down to business with wonderful juicy green shower gel notes (absolutely my favorite part), lavender, resinous and powdery amberwood. The heart reminds me significantly of an Old Spice Swagger cedar shower gel that I love. The base grounds the fragrance with an earthiness where that shower gel cedar loses some of the juicy sweetness and blends with the aromatic fir resin.

Think Baccarat Rouge Extrait, Ultra Male and Luna Rossa Ocean Parfum. All mixed. Perfectly. The opening sugariness from Baccarat and its Saffron note with the ultramale bubblegumminess then the lavender starts coming out almost exactly like the Lavender from Luna Rosaa Ocean Parfum. The sugary saffron fades and you're left with a perfect mix of JPG UM and LROP. 10/10 versatile long lasting middle Eastern cheapie. Best of the bunch alongside Nitro White. This one is more versatile.

Bubblegum party fragrance. Sweet, a bit syrupy, a bit ambery, with JPG DNA type lavender. Doesn’t smell explicitly like vanilla, more a of bubblegum sweetness like I said. Great projection and longevity. Never smelled ultra male, but it’s a bit more bubblegummy and less cinnamon than 9pm, but does smell a bit cheaper.

I've smelled Ultra male and Nitro Green Side by Side I couldn't tell a difference but on the dry drown Ultra Male was more sweeter but Nitro Green was more on the Green and Lavender scent with a bit of sweetness.

Very similar to Ultra Male but deeper and richer. I would say it's an inspiration not a pure dupe. I'm a big fan of the Dumont line so far, I have three of them and they're all great.

Awful awful performance smells better than jpg synthetic in first minutes but becomes fine later but really disappointing in performance you must overspray this

I have owned this fragrance for about 3 years at this point and I still don't know how I stand with it. It 100% has that designer type of aspect in it. I genuinely think that anyone could pull this off young or old, its a slightly more mature version of ultra male and has a slightly more green aspect to it while remaining an absolute lavander and vanilla bomb with amber, woody and resinous notes in it. It's nowhere near as much of a "bubblegum party" Fragrence as others like nitro red/white. And let me make it very clear that it does smell nice. However it is just so uninspired. People like it and I've received compliments on it but for some reason to my nose its just boring if that makes sense. It smells totally different but it's kind of like polo 67 edt in that regard, they both definitely smell nice and people will like them, but they just don't have that extra something that wow's you. It preforms phenomenally, lasts for 8+ hours, is on the edge of absolute beast mode and is an excellent value. Idk just to me the original brown bottle, red/intensley, elixir and gold all just have something that just is unique to them that this doesn't. And I haven't smelled the others so I can't speak to if they have it also. If you like ultramale but want a touch more class to it this would be perfect. I don't think you could get away with the original as an office scent but I do think you could manage this if you didn't do 10 sprays lol.

I received this a few days ago and have worn it daily since and I have slightly mixed feelings. Its a beautiful woody fragrence that has a light citrusy/ambery note to it with the every so slightest note of a vanillic jasminey smell ontop when you first put it on. It smells much more refined and classy that 9pm or jpg in my opinion. To me its a much more spring or fall type of fragrance that can be worn day or night, it is probably one of the more office safe woody fragrences out there. The one downside is it may just be because my bottle is newer but mine only seems to last even on clothing for a few hours and even then its more of the base notes while the slightly sweeter note disappear rather quickly. I was expecting to wear it this fall/winter but honestly I am a little more excited to let it sit and have it as a springtime fragrence. I will say its not JPG if thats what you are wanting but it is a classy easy to wear scent that is pretty safe to blind buy. I probably wouldn't make it my signature scent but its well worth having in your collection especially for its price point.

Fragrance Journal Entry #51 This one is actually the least interesting of the Nitro lineup so far. It's not that it's a bad fragrance..it's just nothing special, if you've smelled most of the modern designer releases lately then you will likely feel this is too familiar. I don't think this even holds a candle to Ultra Male, i doubt this is even a clone of it, more like a twist maybe but still inferior. Modern bubblegummy sweet, soft amber, ambrofix type of smell with some woods and lavender. Basic but gets the job done, if you're a teenager you'll probably love it. Rating: 7.5/10 Blind Buy Safe? YES

It seems to me like a slightly more aromatic and mature version of Ultra Male. It doesn’t list it in the notes, but I can perceive a somewhat mentholated component. It’s just a bit more versatile than other dupes when it comes to weather and time of day — I like it

A mature ultramale is the best way to describe this If you like ultramale,9pm,ramz silver etc but want it less bubblegummy then this is your frag

Fresh, creamy vanilla, smooth. Big fan of this one

I guess it's just to much Vanilla. Because this is just to sweet for a 55-year-old man. I think my young nephews will benefit from this mistake. Not a bad scent, in fact it smells nice, but just not for me. Although for whatever reason the ladies seem to like it. Mass appealing scent profile is my guess. Edit- several hours later. Dang this stuff has amazing performance.

Never smelled Ultra Male but have Afnan's 9 PM, and this is definitely similar, though not identical. I'm not a big fan of this DNA, but if you like 9 PM, you'll enjoy this one for sure.

I swear some of you don’t even own “Ultra Male” I got a 2017 bottle of ultra male. Currently as of making this sprayed Ultra male on my inner arm Nitro green on my right hand 9pm on my left hand This smells closer than my 9pm to ultra male. I feel nitro green carries the opening of ultra male a lot longer than ultra male does. My 9pm maybe it’s fake or what idk but after smelling nitro green I think this is actually like 90% close to ultra male

As an owner of Ultra Male, this stuff sucks
